@@tiho1138 yeah if u cant get a quest/meta 2 maybe look for that chinese one its just as good but maybe due to regions it might be cheaper.
Question: I just finished playing the Oculus version on the game on the Meta store. Is that version going to be forever stuck in version 0.30 or are you planning on updating it in the future? (Thinking about buying the game on steam eventually since I have six billion other games to play. But this... I want Dark Souls VR. I need it.)
Imagine have a massive, padded room, full-body tracking, and a wireless headset to play this with.

The lack of structured experiences in VR is one of the reasons B&S is going to be one of the best once it’s Crystal Hunt campaign mode is complete. Can’t wait honestly.

In terms of full VR games, we have Alyx, Saints and Sinners, and Into the Radius. The rest seem to only be sandbox / arcade style games that are only fun for like 5 hours max
@@boomdaddymaxwellI've put about five hours into Into the Radius and it still feels like an open world sandbox. Does it like... lock in on a narrative later on?
I'm not hating on the game, I just think of it as a STALKER sandbox game rather than a complete, structured game.
@@weneedaladder8384 With 5 hrs you probably met the girl in white a couple of times though? That's pretty much the main story. You'll get a couple of those missions with a last one that has you go through a final level leading to an ending. So it's like Anomaly in a way, but you do need to do the main missions to unlock more stuff like more advanced guns etc. If you're playing on PC btw, I'd highly recommend the Scavenger mod~

I mean no offense but it is just him shouting out the people who donate to him lol. I would prefer if he did it at the end every time so I don't have to skip over it constantly because again, no offense, but seeing a bunch of random internet names I've never heard of being listed doesn't really do much for me. That part of his videos is intended for a very small group of people. Just my opinion, I'm not too bothered by it and I think this is the first time since I subscribed to him years ago that I've even "complained" about it

I think it would be cool for them to implement an inertial damage system. the harder you swing the more damage you do.
It would be nice to see a game that implements a system of cutting that involves slicing and dragging
I thought it did have that? It felt like the more frantic (and thus, faster) I was swinging, the faster enemies went down. Plus I didn't get dismemberments at all until I started really swinging on them.
I would absolutely take out my whole wall with a swing if they added that
I wish more games did something like ironlights where you need to pull the weapon back in order to actually do something. Maybe a charge like the further back you pull, the more damage you do?

Dark souls one sure ain't easy. Fun sure but I stink real bad at it. The fact that 50% of my gametime in it was whilst doing "drunk souls" with friends may factor into my hard time. It might even be 100% the reason I find it hard. We never beat the butterfly, people threw up their dinner and passed out on the lawn.

I hope they add SteamVR Vive tracking on this game, and actually add it with a very good implementation and not like Blade and sorcery with only feet and hips.
It needs upper legs, lower legs, hips and perhaps chest also.
In addition to Vive trackers i also would like to see that it will work with Axis full body tracking from Refract. And that even without the need of drivers that have to go only trough steam tracking simulating vive trackers.
Just to be able to kick, and move realistic in such a game would be the game breaker that gives it total immersion... PLZZZ add FBT or AT LEAST! tracking for hips and legs (Feet tracking for just moving you foot is not actually that important.

The thing is, Souls games are hard, but usually only on the first playthrough. The second playthrough usually feels like a walk in the park compared to the first one. I just played Dark Souls 3 for a second time, which was my first souls game experience. I beat the game in about half the time it took me during my first playthrough. (My first playthrough was about 120 hours, and I beat the game in my second playthrough in about 60) Some parts are still hard, but it mostly becomes a matter of muscle memory.

When I saw this game on steam I was like “a souls like VR game? This better be as good as I’m hoping it is” and I was not disappointed. Not to flex or anything but I DID beat the first boss in one try. I know, I’m simply better what can I say

Just played the game, it sucks, at least on oculus it does. The hit boxes are ass and my shield disappeared randomly half way through the first area. I got mad stopped playing because I couldn't find out how to get back to the main hideout are but I will most likely try again at some point because I love souls borne games that aren't Sekiro or Elden Ring

If you know how to cheese the game, but if you play it normally and don’t overlevel then it’s hard

The reason the dodge seems worthless is because you're holding your weapons too close to yourself. You're supposed to be doing full reach swinging so when you dodge, you'll be right outside their weapon range because you were slightly farther away.
Comically small? That's how most girls are.
