- I've played both of the previous Daniel Mullins games, Pony Island & The Hex, but I hear Inscryption is considered the cream-of-the-crop content so far. I just can't wait to see what twisted evil spin has been incorporated into this card-battle like game. I've heard all these games take place within the same universe, so I'll be keeping an eye out for any story/lore connections I can find. I'm SUPER excited for this blind playthrough, and I hope you'll come along with me for the ride.

You can sacrifice The Smoke! That's kind of the whole point: a card that does no damage but gives you 4 bones when it dies. However, you now have the Greater Smoke because you snuffed out all 3 candles next to the wardrobe, so it actually can attack now.
Anything that can't be sacrificed has a little crossed out sword in place of the attack power, and a dotted line along the edge.
Also, you're really pumping out these Dark Souls/Inscryption videos, I can barely keep up!
Thanks for the tips Ethan, appreciate that. I know what you mean about the speed of videos... sometimes I'm tempted to do double-drops, because some people ask for videos faster...lol, but I figure 1 video a day is plenty.
@@BenjamightGaming I just saw the new DS video is up haha, it's already hard enough to keep up when I only follow 1 game you're playing! Don't get me wrong though, I'm loving seeing you play through both these games!
52:15 I was yelling at my screen for you to sacrifice the wolf and play the black goat with 0 attack, but then you played the fan which was super clutch. Nice job beating the angler again!
Also the sound engineer in me is always delighted when you call out good sound design. Not many people pay attention to that stuff haha.
lol - you liked that didn't you - I was SUPER proud of that play too. Even during editing, I was patting myself on the back again. Also really awesome hearing you appreciate me noticing the sound design... it's little things like that that make a HUGE difference in the polish of a game, and I do try to point it out when it stands out. I wish the cards sounded like that when I played card games in real life. ;-)

The sound design is def very good in this game and there are many sounds you have yet to encounter lol
Great job with the tile puzzles finally solving them. Def felt like there was still some confusion and luck involved but you mostly got the hang of it lol.
A small hint if you haven't already solved it is the picture frame puzzle cannot be solved while walking around the cabin. You are on a good track to solve all the other puzzles and find all the other secrets that are in this cabin and game I think. Can't wait for you to learn what other mysteries this cabin has to offer.
25:00 The convo of whether or not the Stinkbug Stink ability would stop the Adder's poison from taking affect is one of the reasons I love this game so much. With all these abilities and cards theres bound to be loopholes or exceptions to how some of them interact with one another and wondering about them and discovering them is so much fun.
You've never gone to the Card with an X location yet. Hopefully you check out that place at some point.
Now you know why those mushrooms appear under some of the cards when you get new cards, it's to signify you already have one and then can combine them with those guys.

Oh yes, I accomplish/learn a LOT in the next episode. This game is absolutely fantastic and one I definitely will play more, even after I'm done with the playthrough on the channel. Sorry I keep getting the Sigil word wrong... at this point, it's probably a lost cause. I even went to Google to try to help, and apparently STILL can't get myself to say it right...lol. Oh well.
@@BenjamightGaming I'll say more about this later when you've seen more of the game cause of spoilers but once you complete the game you will unlock a sort of "endless" mode of the game where you can play as much as you want to your hearts content(and the endless mode even has some things not found in the main game/story mode) but I'll speak a little more on it down the line in your playthrough. So once this playthrough is finished never fear for there is something after to satisfy your Inscryption fix lol(and it's great!)

It didn't take you long to figure out how the Bell Tentacle works - nice job!
The fan is probably my favorite item, and it's plays like the one you pulled off. Get a good group of cards, raise them up, and instantly win, no matter how many cards he has on the table (assuming they don't block fliers, of course ...)
I just love the Mycologists ... not only for the wonder effect they have, but also because of how "messy" the game makes the simple act of joining two cards together ...
Messy is right! I do love that my character actually looks down, and you see little splashes of blood fly by the screen. And then when you look at the card, it almost has this 'mutated' look, as you can tell they were 2 cards that almost don't look like they were meant to be together... it's amazing!

1:03:37 Ah yes, the one time the game legitimately scared me a little. Late at night, playing in a dark room, and then drawing this card for the first time and it suddenly having its red eye gaze directly at me instead of just showing off its vertebrae like it did prior to that. Great moment.

Could've summoned the pack rat sacrificing the goat,giving you 4 bones as well us using two blood from the 3 blood, and gotten an extra item from the pack rat.
Again, hindsight, we have olayed this game to death, we all didn't know these combos on our fourth run, i think i webt through 3 maps in 13 playthroughs.

You passing, instead of using your squirrel and stinkbug to put your Kraken out, at 39:25 made my soul cry... I was sooo upset and as I watched I just sat there being like "omg it actually worked out for him" cuz the rattler would've killed your Kraken and you would've been down n out. Just goes to show that I'm a bit quick to sacrifice for a short term increase. Well done for thinking further ahead than my blood thirsty butt. :P
lol - thanks Butterflies... I do have a knack for driving people nuts with my choices sometimes. Sometimes it's a well thought out planned attacked... other times it's just dumb luck. ;-)

Glad you connected The Caged Wolf card to the caged wolf wooden carving in the cabin . But you still have to figure out what to do with the card .

(Dw about us commentors acting so dramatic, we have all sunk so many hours into this game, foresight is everything, hopefully these misses you are able to look at and laugh, let us know if it just feels likes teasing, feelings are valid either way)
Yeah, sometimes I still forget that the overkill feature is there, and it will attack what's behind it. I get better with each fight though, so hopefully you're seeing improvements. :-)

27:20 ~ I love it haha. If I recall correctly, you can randomly find the death cards when choosing new ones, but there is a location on the map/board you can go to that gives you special cards; but I forgot what it looks like lol
Also, I haven't finished the video yet buuuuut, are you noticing anything different about the appearance of certain cards? 👀

I think it's the next episode I realize both the talking cards start to look different. Not exactly sure what that means yet, but I did notice it.

The totems are really nice mechanic. If you're lucky you might get a really busted combo like undying squirrels, which is really good for bone-focused deck.

@@Adam-dd9lo I spoiler'd myself looking up that card, when I found out what it's real use was for, I was disappointed in myself, felt like something I could've actually figured out, it made sense.
yea theres no reward for the totem fights. its potentially just more difficult. its more about which path you want to go down if you think the encounter is worth the extra effot
