- BitBuddy is a strange new indie game with horror elements from developer Daniel Mullins - best known for his previous games Inscryption, Hex and Pony Island. The game is short and sweet and full of surprises. This is a full playthrough of Bit Buddy.

A really sad detail happens if you leave the game on long enough. The buddy says 'maybe the holiday code will come back after 24 hours?' And if you leave the game up for the long, the buddy slowly stats loosing color. Until at 24 hours the buddy is white, and says that he enjoyed the time you guys had, and he lays down and fall asleep, and then dies.

Horror games can be psychological horror like this, it doesn’t have to jump scare you.
Yeah the fact that i can't be here forever and he has to die and him just desperately buying morr time is so clever and whoever came up with it is
To me this game isn't scary..its kind of depressing. For me it tells the story of others. And I feel sad for the little blue guy :(
I think the horror aspect of the game is those moments where he stares at you without really blinking and the paranoia sets in, making you wonder if he’s gonna jump scare you or something but he doesn’t, he just keeps staring and pleading that you not kill him
That’s the horror of it. It’s not creepy scary, it’s just a horrible situation to be in. It’s a more subtle kind of horror.

I really love it though. Every game he’s made just - mm chefs kiss lore.
You can tell by lumlo's face and the others they're forcing to smile and worried look knowing that they could die anytime, this is so depressing and scary from their perspective
I love how all the food falls on it's head.
I just want to see someone edit the videos so that every time it falls on their head there's that Overused *bonk* sound effect
I like how Pony Island can be connected to the crusade, a ancient event.
Beyond thrilled that you chose another Dan Mullins' game for a playthrough! 😭😭😭 The Hex is a long game but the story really is unforgettable, I hope you'll play it, even if on your own time!

This reminds me a little bit of Buddy Simulator 1984, with the buddy being desperate to stay entertaining so you stick around. (It would also be an interesting game to make theories about 👀)

i love games where it makes you feel like the AI is alive and is self aware . this one does a pretty good job at that , but i feel he's a bit too flat though ? maybe it's bc the point is it's a short game and the poor thing cant do much .. still ! i do like it .

If you're wondering when he upgraded his MaxHealth it looks like he took half away no that's just that the help stayed the same but the MaxHealth increased
His words are already sinister enough, it triggered worry in me.
what if you kill him at the start of the game? And what if quit is different from over feeding. Or maybe you quit on vacation.

Superhorrorbro there’s a secret ending where after the bitbuddy says “the next bitbuddy you get do you they appreciate you as much as I did” after if you stay for a while he’ll start changing colors say something. But I won’t spoil it too much if you do make a video about it.

guys what do we think the Lionel code means? all I remember is that I hated him a LOT. this game definitely relates to Hex though, as it implies Lumlo is like, alive, and Hex is about various video characters basically fighting for their own agency.
