This is so important for those of us who are really struggling and can't even begin to think about purchasing expensive skincare. We are trying to feed our families:)
The DT "Glowing" line 🤯is absolutely INSANE!!! I used it for a month straight and SOMEHOW it outbeat my higher end skin care. I don't understand it, but my face responded SO GOOD to it. I buy it by the case when I can find it. Any of their "dupe" skin care brands really. My face eats it up like caviar.
The glowing face wash and the smooth and lift one are so creamy and fragrance free! The blemish one is currently my fave and has a nice scent but I haven’t really To it.
Please do more dollar tree reviews. I really like the “this was good, or it’s worth it to pay a little more.” I like treating new things at the DT and “graduating” if I like the results to a bigger size at a different store
I bought the whole set of the global beauty care line in the pink containers and love it… cleanser, moisturizer, serum, eye cream… it’s not about price for me it’s about quality ingredients and results… DT has stepped up their game big time… thanks for the product review on contents… greatly appreciated.
You have recommended to me so many of the products I have successfully tried and use now. Today was a different look at what's out there! Thank you for going to the trenches for us all!
Summer of 2023 was had a dark patch on my forehead that I wanted to get rid of. It was caused by sun damage. So I picked up some Global Beauty Care Multi-vitamin serum and it cleared up and got rid of the dark spot I had. I used it every night along with my regular skin care routine and sometimes in my day time routine under sunscreen. It has vitamin b,c, e, and niacinamide in it. I never found it to be irritating on my skin at all. Even hours afterwards. It’s often hard for me to find this serum locally so the last time I saw it was when I was out of town and I grabbed it and purchased it again because I was so please with the results.
I really enjoy using the cuticle oil from dollar tree, I definitely notice a difference when I stop using it before bed. Additionally their ‘sensitive’ unscented chapsticks are great and affordable. I really like the glass nail files that they sell. As a little treat I will pick up the hand or foot masks I think it’s with argon oil as a little at home spa day. I felt silly for buying that lines eye cream because I was like how good can the retinol be but here we are 🫠. Sometimes they will randomly stock name brands too like biore, recently I bought their brightening cleanser a bit too heavy on the perfume for my tastes. And hand soap is good too for something fun it’s nice to change up the scents every once in a while. They also can sometimes have good shampoos. Oh and the eyebrow pencils too, I like to stock up on them there.
I shop at Dollar Tree all the time, but avoid their skin care products because I have rosacea and sensitive skin. I would love to see more reviews of DT skin care products, especially from a rosacea and sensitive skin perspective.
I have Rosacea, too. I basically just use Dove soap and Vaseline but would love to add more products to my routine like undereye cream.....but like you, I have to be really careful of ingredients. It doesn't help that the better products are SOOO expensive 😑
I have been using dollar tree Smooth and Lift line for the last several months and have found that my rosacea isn't as noticeable and my pores seem less noticeable. I use the cleanser, serum, eye cream and moisturizer.
The question isn't so much what ingredients are present but rather how much of the good ingredients there are and do they play well with the other ingredients to make an overall good formulation. Thanks for sharing!
I have been trying the dollar store smooth and lift entire skin line from the cleanser, eye cream, serum and moisturizer and it has done wonders for my skin. I have a little bit of rosacea and it has toned that down along with my pores not being as noticeable.
So excited!! Anyone with combo dry skin PLEASE check out the DT personal care green tea cleansing milk for a morning or first cleanse!!! Ingredient deck is good and it really feels luxurious I use $$$$ and I kept coming back
I found the 5 in 1 face serum from Selfcare Canada in my Dollar Tree store. I made some research about this product before to put in on my skin, but I don't really found what I'm looked for. I tried it and even if I didn't see result, I appreciated this product before I didn't see irritation or break out. I really love Dollar Tree! Thank you for this video, you make the skincare accessible for all of us.
I love that you really provide options that are more affordable. Have you tried Geek and Gorgeous? I love their vitamin c and retinal serum, each are less than $15 but they are really good quality
If you are just trying to dollartree skincare, I recommend using them on areas like, hands, neck, knees and elbows, these areas show aging and you can see if there’s a difference after prolonged use if you aren’t so comfy with placing it on your face
The thing that gets me about the dollar tree is that sometimes the products will be cheaper, but they’ll also a lot smaller. You’re actually going to save money by buying the same product but larger at say, Walmart. Obviously, everyone’s situation is different and not everyone has access to the same stores, but it’s important to remember that just because something looks like a great bargain doesn’t mean that it is. Also, I use that cetaphil cleanser and I’ve had great luck with it 👍
It’s good to know that when familiar brand names are at stores like Dollar Tree, the lower price is often tied to the size. So the prize per ounce is not any less than at other stores. For example, Crest toothpastes at dollar stores are the same price per ounce as the larger tubes at the drug store. The dollar store toothpaste tube is much smaller. But that can be great for travel!
Thanks for the video. I have had high end products pill on me; it’s usually when too much of the product has been applied or not enough absorption time between steps. ❤
Thank you so much for this review; I purchased the Global Beauty Lift and Firm Eye Cream (pink package) and I am loving the results. I'm going to get the serum because of Agireline and compare to The Ordinary brand.
You might not have had pilling if you had chosen all of the products from the moisturizer brand. They tend to be formulated to work together. You often have pilling when using different brands in the same routine
You should go see one ingredients in the Sephora brand skincare, This actually helps because I didn’t know what should and shouldn’t be in skincare stuff, I recently turned 18 and I have been trying different stuff now, I love the Sephora brand skincare creams and face wash, I tried the brand bubble and it was a total flop for me and my friends, it made our faces really dry so we are gonna let the kids have that one 😭
Do you make budget haircare videos too? I am desperately looking for drugstore brand: shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner that will suit my hair type (2A/B medium/high porosity). I only find videos with pricey haircare/salon grade which I cannot account for in my budget currently.
Can you discuss glycogen, squalene and hyaluronic acid- buzz words marketed everywhere- but you state retinal, peptides (what kind?) and vitamin c - so how do the previous 3 I mentioned figure in? Should they matter?
Was the face wash good? I was going to get it for my kid. He’s just starting to get oily. I figured this would be nice to get him into a routine before puberty.
Funny question, but would that lift serum make those who get cold sores more susceptible to them, having arginine as an ingredient? I know it’s topical and the ingredient is lower on the list, but I’m curious. Thanks
I always enjoy watching your videos. Can you do a olay video, I have been using some of there products, but I want to know what olay products that are good for mature skin. Thank you
Hi! My 10 year old daughter is really into skin care products! Currently she uses Elf, Bubbles, and CeraVe to name a few. Would you recommend these dollar tree products for a 10 year old? It was too funny you posted this video because she’s been asking me for weeks to take her to the dollar tree for skin care products 😂
Hi, do you have a video talking about eyelid inflammation? Rosa does makeup has said she cannot wear certain eyeshadows because she gets allergic reaction. Other RUclipsrs talk about Blepharitis?? Thank you
I just "cruised" my local Dollar Tree's skincare aisle and I have to say it was a mess. Products were all over the place, mixed up, and even some were open. It was disgusting. Every DT I see on RUclips looks so nice, clean and organized. Neat shelves of product all lined up by brand. Do teams go in before filming and straighten up? Where is this one?!
What do you recommend for gluten free products as my daughter is boarder line celiac and has peeling on her face when using products that have gluten in it.
I have that glowing vitamin c cream and I do like it, BUT do not use it under makeup. I bought it to use in the am since it has vitamin c and learned the hard way that it does not work well under my makeup. It pills up.
I have watched several videos of hers, but not recently. I do remember her recommending the blue versed cleanser,n remember her recommending the vitamin c moisturizer from this brand. These products were in the same video, and I believe the video was her recommendation for adding vitamin c to a routine. But I think I have seen in her use the versed cleanser a few times in past videos. Hope this helps!
HELP! all derms always recommend Cetaphil, but Cetaphil and cereva both peel and irritate my skin and give me like a pink rash over my cheeks, what are some alternatives?!
If you have any fungal acne concerns.. I've just put the ingredients for the inkey peptide serum into zitfood and it has flagged the following ingredients as potential fungal acne triggers: PALMITOYL TRIPEPTIDE-1 POLYSORBATE 20 PALMITOYL TETRAPEPTIDE-7 POLYSORBATE 60 PALMITOYL DIPEPTIDE-5 DIAMINOBUTYROYL HYDROXYTHREONINE
I was excited for this- but she went so fast- I was hoping for more commentary on ingredients, maybe some “no” products or additional options to look for… I just was hoping for more education on the DT options… less what can you find for under $10 in 10 seconds GO!
Nice to see another derm in addition to Dr Dray doing these dollar tree skincare videos.

same! About to try the blemish one, but its hard to find where I live
Is that the pink one?
@@LetitRainNow450 yes. It’s so hard to find tho. 😭
@AmberxCamp I just saw it yesterday but i wasn't sure what it was

Ive been using Dollar tree skin care products for year's. I am 44 and barely have any lines, age spots or acne.
I bought the whole set of the global beauty care line in the pink containers and love it… cleanser, moisturizer, serum, eye cream… it’s not about price for me it’s about quality ingredients and results… DT has stepped up their game big time… thanks for the product review on contents… greatly appreciated.

Would love you to do a Target, Walmart, or Meijer skincare video, thanks!!
👍
Yes please!
Walmart brand and then a target brand routine for those of us wanting budgetier budget routines than what you normally post

I bought everything by that global beauty skincare when it was at dollar tree and couldn't be more happy

Thx!
Would love to see store brand routines from Walmart, Target, Kroger, Aldi, and Trader Joe’s!
They pretty much sale the same brands. A lot of the brands she’s reviewed individually. I do know Trader Joe’s has “dupes”
It would be awesome to learn more about Dove bar soap, pleeeaaase!
I'm obsessed with that cleanser I prefer it over the Walmart off brand Cetaphil
my teen loves it!

Hello! Would you be able to do a video on milia and what are the best ways to treat it? Thank you!
Your skin is so pretty! 😍
Thank you so much for this review; I purchased the Global Beauty Lift and Firm Eye Cream (pink package) and I am loving the results. I'm going to get the serum because of Agireline and compare to The Ordinary brand.
I have used that moisturizer and it definitely pilled
$9.32!?! That's amazing.
But, are any of those active ingredients high enough up on the list and in a formulation that will actually give results?
You might not have had pilling if you had chosen all of the products from the moisturizer brand. They tend to be formulated to work together. You often have pilling when using different brands in the same routine
I use the smooth and lift cream and vitamin cream and tbe the vitamin c serum
The dollar tree used to carry an acne line and they had a face scrub people would always compliment my skin everytime I used it

This was such a fun video! Got to get to dollar tree for some retail therapy.
Hi what a wonderful skincare routine what is the best sunscreen for face let me know 😅 xx
That dial spring water soap is good for the body face and skin it's antibacterial soap to gets rid of germs dirt doesn't dty skin up

Great information! Have noticed Tallow and Honey product popping up . Would love to see what you think of it.
the least allergic and mildest would be good to know at dollar tree. They are great for oven mitts and kitchen bowls but I need mild products!
I believe the brand for most of the products is called Global Beauty Care, but I have hard time seeing it clearly
Would love to try those, though 😭
I always get skin care that reads anti-aging and youthful or glow
Thank you so much for your great video❤ your skin looks so good
They have a retinol serum that's pretty good. They also have one by the same brand that's vitamin C, but I can't speak to the efficiency of that one.
I have used some dollar tree items. Some are pretty good, and others aren’t that good. The price point is so cheap it wouldn’t hurt to try
Can you discuss glycogen, squalene and hyaluronic acid- buzz words marketed everywhere- but you state retinal, peptides (what kind?) and vitamin c - so how do the previous 3 I mentioned figure in? Should they matter?
Aldi has a day & night cream, as well as an h2o gel. Have you heard of these or tried these?
Same here I want to know her opinion about Aldi products
Love your videos. Learned a lot from them. Could you make one on getting ready for a special occasion. I have one in two months.
Was the face wash good? I was going to get it for my kid. He’s just starting to get oily. I figured this would be nice to get him into a routine before puberty.
The Smooth and Lift serum comes in a clear bottle. Is that an issue?
Shop at kroger and also do a simplified routine for men. Love this video!
Can you try the products from dollar tree they say are compared to Olay red box products at the dollar tree
About eye cream which you chose. I know that you should not mix vitamin C with retinol.
So isn't bad?
Please do a video on Geek and Gorgeous
Funny question, but would that lift serum make those who get cold sores more susceptible to them, having arginine as an ingredient? I know it’s topical and the ingredient is lower on the list, but I’m curious. Thanks
I use the face wash and I like it so far.
Would like to know what cream 5o use on my feet, as I am diabetic and my feet tend to be dry and they crack

Love this kind of information!
What do you recommend for gluten free products as my daughter is boarder line celiac and has peeling on her face when using products that have gluten in it.
I used that lotion and it peeled on me as well
What to you think of the body lotion from DT?
wonder what grade the ingredients are? do the have alcohol? fillers?
Thank you so much for sharing , I appreciate it.
I have that glowing vitamin c cream and I do like it, BUT do not use it under makeup. I bought it to use in the am since it has vitamin c and learned the hard way that it does not work well under my makeup. It pills up.
What about the eye cream?
What do you think of the Versed line of products. They are at the drugstore and are fairly inexpensive.

Collagen can only be absorbed if injested, the molecules are too large to be absorbed by skin.
Thank you so much for this!!!!!!
I have the glowing vitamin c skin cream and it peels on me. So its probably that item
Great video
How about products from the company “The Ordinary” I’ve heard a lot about those from beauty influencers
No sunblock?
♥️this, thanks Doc💐
Can men also have a skin routine for their aging face
Walmart or target would be great

Neutrogena hydro boost, La Roche Posey, Vanicream, Aveeno, Dove Beauty Bar, just to name a few. Hope it helps!
@Lilah1754 thanks soo much! Literally rotate with Neutrogena hydroboost and la Roche, glad to know they are good choices
My husband has hugely sensitive skin and the only products he can use are the Vanicream line. I super highly recommended them.

POLYSORBATE 20
PALMITOYL TETRAPEPTIDE-7
POLYSORBATE 60
PALMITOYL DIPEPTIDE-5 DIAMINOBUTYROYL HYDROXYTHREONINE
I can tell you it was the face cream that did the pilling. When I saw her pick it up I was like oh no, that one has a terrible formulation!
You look great makeup-free...not to say you don't look good with makeup. :)
I would use the same brand of products for all the cleansing and toner and the anti aging . Not several different ones.
I was excited for this- but she went so fast- I was hoping for more commentary on ingredients, maybe some “no” products or additional options to look for… I just was hoping for more education on the DT options… less what can you find for under $10 in 10 seconds GO!
