Thank you and bless you for these wonderful videos! I am in my 70s and survived 2 major strokes in May 2021. . .could not walk, talk or swallow . . .just my right arm and hand worked and so I could draw and write and thereby communicate, After 13 weeks in hospital, I went home walking, talking and eating soft food again and the peg could be removed from my stomach. I needed a live -in carer for a while but have lived independently since the end of 2021 and, incredibly, I am still making progress! I would encourage other stroke sufferers to keep going bit by little bit! It works! This is just what I need right now as my facial muscles do tire when I talk too much . . .which is often!

I was so excited to see this video today! I hate taking pictures since my stroke, because my smile is so uneven. Hopefully this video can help me make improvements. Thank you as always for what you do for us ❤

This is fascinating. I was aware that initially my smile was very uneven (it has improved immensely), but I had no idea that my frown had been affected badly too! It evened up a bit after a coupler of reps, now my cheek hurts.

I have had two minor strokes (TIA) one in 10/2021 and another in 05/2023. My speech, cognitive impairment and facial (left) droop with second episode in 2023 was more significant than the first episode. I have found the facial impairment ugly, and difficult to deal with. Your facial exercises are very effective and helpful. The asymmetrical posture of my smile on my left side is improving. My lips smile more now as of January 2024. My left cheek and lower eyelid are still frozen but I am hopeful with continued exercises that improvements will come along as I meet up with the one year mark of my TIA of May 2023.
Thank you for posting this visualization of re strengthening the face post stroke.

speedy recovery! So, you also have paresis of peripheral muscles (forehead and eyes), which practically never happens with a stroke. usually, the lesion has a central type and it affects only the lower part of the face🤔

My stroke was on my right side of my brain. So it affected my left side of my body. I know typically reading, and vision is mostly only affected if the Left side of the brain had the stroke. Well I'm one of the not typical survivors. I have difficulty seeing on my left side usually my peripheral view. And I get fatigued really easy after straining to read for any length of time.
So my request is could you please do a video on this. Maybe giving exercises to help survivors recover from this. Thank you for your time and all the amazing content.

Noone has ever mentioned this to me before. While, I don't necessarily have asymmetry, I feel the stretching and have a little numbness in my left side. This was great!

I feel like this could help me especially when you said start with the unaffected side of your face like I really appreciate this specific video it especially for that cuz not many of don't even address asymmetry, which is what im working on. Reversing the "stallone effect" thank you. One side has issues the eyebrow to the base of the neck. Especially at the lip. So this helps. Ill keep doin em

Don’t know if you’ll see this- but I’m a 26 year old woman who has a neurological condition that caused me to lose movement/strength on my left side twice. I’m recovering but will probably never be “normal again”.😢
I’m having trouble with keeping my mouth the same on both sides with speaking because of lack of movement. But I’ll try these to help❤❤
