    Have had a stiff neck for most of a year. I am 75 and thought it was from old age. I bicycle at least 20 miles a day, year around, and could no longer look over my shoulders to check for traffic. I, also, could not look to the sides while driving - I'd have to rotate my whole upper body. Three to four days after starting this massage routine, the stiffness in my neck pretty much disappeared. Life is so much better. Thanks so much.

      that's fabulous - i just found this guy's videos - i am 60 and i go out on my bike for 4 hours every night -all year round. this year our city decided not to clear ALL of the bike path -and my bike and knee flipped and met 6 inch thick ice and pavement - torn ligaments and whiplash. Physio therapy uses weight bering exercises which i cannot do - So this is brilliant - checkout his massage for whiplash - really good.

      Second time, after six months, and this still helped to get rid of the 12 hour stiff neck. Ordinary massages don't work, but when u follow this 5 minute pattern in this video, then the pain goes off up to a certain extent

    I ripped some ligaments in my right shoulder / neck area last Jan & ended up in hospital. Since then in the last year almost at least every 2 months I get episodes of 2-3 days of not being able to even get out of bed due to the weight of my head on my neck & the pain it causes, I've tried tons of different painkillers & creams, this video is the only thing that seems to help. Thank you for sharing, its greatly improved my quality of life.

    • @timhaskett1733
      @timhaskett1733 9 лет назад +2

      Bu Salah Yes, it's from tight muscles that when massaged out you can feel refer to the ear where your balance organ is

    • @denoum
      @denoum 9 лет назад +1

      Tim Haskett I've had many X-Rays done to my head and stuff and all the 3 or 4 doctors I've been to say there's nothing wrong with it. It's less now due to these stiff neck exercises but it's still there by like 10%. Thanks for the info though.

    • @timhaskett1733
      @timhaskett1733 9 лет назад

      Won;t show on any x-ray, see page 50 of Dr. Upgaards TMJ book

    • @denoum
      @denoum 9 лет назад

      Tim Haskett Yes it wont! I've done many X-rays to my back and neck and the doctors say nothing. Thank you for the information.

    • @denoum
      @denoum 9 лет назад +4

      I've figured it out. It's related to a nerve in my back which hits my ears and my balance and is caused by my stomach which suffers from minor inflammations which cause the nerve in my back to erupt.

      +Disko H sorry to hear that. It can be expensive if the initial visit costs too much. Where I am, I have found a few chiropractors who charge a flat fee of thirty dollars so I am able to pay that once in awhile. Maybe you can find one in your area. I have a friend who is one in Nashville if that is near by.

    • @weekendmovie3793
      @weekendmovie3793 9 лет назад +1

      +Disko H It is an independent office in Nashville. I am not sure how much they are as I am not close enough to visit them. Here is their number. Call and ask them their rate. 615.883.9000. If they are not close to you, you may need to look around your area for a good one. You may need to visit a few to find your favorite one. It took me awhile to find mine. Praying for guidance has helped me. There is only one offer of, 'ask and it shall be given unto you, seek and ye shall find'. That is an offer you can't refuse! He is my best friend and truly loyal.

    I am a massage therapist thus I often make other people feel the benefits of massage. Thus it is wonderful to learn self massaging. You are generous and kind I apreciatte it. My neck feels lighter now.

    This is literally my favorite video now it’s so awesome because my stuff neck has bothered me for about 3 months now and I’ve tried to use tense and stress massages but tbh this was better than all of the videos I’ve watched. 3 months went away in 5 minutes. I’m not faking this is for real

    Had a stiff neck at work all day, sore and painful when I move my head from side to side, etc. I watched this when I got home and it's already so much better. Just the focus pin and stretch was an amazing pain relief.

    Excellent demonstration. I did the exercises with you and I feel a lot more relaxed. I think my migraines originate in my shoulders and neck area. This helped a lot and I hope to make these part of my daily routine. Thanks for sharing. You did a great job.
