I've had my locs 11 yrs. Never lost a loc. Here's the secret. Keep your products natural and simple. I only use thin and clear shampoos..lately psoriasis shampoo for my scalp. I didn't use conditioner after I saw buildup about 2 yrs in. U really don't need it much..only at the root to soften it a bit if u do a retwist. I only use almond oil then castor oil on the length of the loc after I dry my hair with a lint free towel..don't keep adding it every week. (Locs turn dull and more firm and will not unravel when you are officially loc'd Get rid of all clothing, blankets, scarves, sweaters, hats, shirts, bed linens that have any lint. I sleep on a satin pillowcase with my hair up but not covered. Most people's hair is much thinner than mine so don't retwist every month...just separate the locs on wash day and I will just braid about 6 together at a time to keep my new growth from being so frizzy. Enjoy! Keep it simple. You will have healthy and long locs forever 🌺💕💕
Oh my goodness, thank you so much for all of this wisdom! It really means a lot to have people like you in this community. Your experiences are so valuable to everyone else and I appreciate you immensely for sharing. Sending you all the love in the world 😍😊💖🥳🎉
@@AlexisHarris you're most welcome lil sis. I got more yrs in the game and wish someone would have told me sooner lol. Also I saw your loc thinning. That's from retwisting too tightly and also too frequently. I also don't do styles unless it's a major occasion and I don't keep in any updos more than a night. Mostly because my hair is so long and heavy now. But each loc is like a mini ponytail. The tension builds up over days and u will notice everyone who has these beautiful styles consistently has thin locs and worse, most develop traction alopecia. My suggestion for your locs in particular is to halt retwists for a few months. Embrace the frizz and fuzz. Just gently separate your locs at the root on wash day so they don't combine. But that may be a good idea as well since your roots have thinned. A few years from now u will most likely have a visible line where your locs are uneven due to this thinning...u can cut away the old part to have uniformity. Or just start fresh with your new knowledge. Just don't let the hair define you or your beauty. Enjoy the frizzy journey. Much love 💙💙💙
100% CORRECT ADVICE! I've been semi free forming so I avoid too much manipulation, something I had to take years as a loose natural learning what my natural hair likes and dislikes. My hair THRIVES on "less is more". 👍🏾
Hello ladies, I just joined the loc family on July 16th, 2024, at 60, but I have been doing two-strand twists since 2014. My daughter wanted to do our twist journey together. I am 3 days in, and she is maybe 3-4 weeks in. She did a two-strand twist, and I did the locking, and my hair is entirely gray. I started graying in my 20's. Thank Alexis, for the incredible information as I learn to care for my locs. This information is fantastic and I pray I can do this. Right now, my hair is up in locs, and I am feeling itchy. I sleep with my satin cap on and go out with my satin cap under my scarf because my hair is shorter with the starter locs. And I don't want my scalp to be exposed right now. Please keep this information coming. ❤❤❤❤
I don’t cover my locs I just moisturize my hair a lot. Spray it daily with my rose water mixture and oil every few days. I’m going on 2 years and they look pretty good so far . Nice content girly 🦋
Hey beautiful! 💖 I love that approach but I’m so paranoid about lint and damage. You’ve eased my mind a bit more though so I may lighten up on the loc coverage 😊💕🥳 thanks for sending some loveee
I had locs for 23 years (a well spent youth, I must say), then about 6 years ago I decided to comb them out and become a loose natural. I loved my afro, but the price of hair care products be killin' my bottom line, yo. And, the south coast England has the hardest water known to human kind. I'm now 3 weeks into my new loc journey and honey, it's so good to back home! The two strand twist / crochet starter locs are challenging, but I'm trying to just let nature take it's course.
I am 62 years old and 4 months in my twisted lock journey. My hair is growing and I am graying…I cover my head with silk scarf and bonnet. I use pure rose water. I moisturize with my black castor oil, grape seed, jojoba, mint oil mixed. All is great. I have my locks retwisted every 6/8 weeks. I massage my scalp with my finger tips… no long finger nails. My hair looks similar to yours but longer and more locks… love this video… I did a great deal of research for a few year before i started my journey.❤😊
Thank you for your comment! I am contemplating taking the Loc's journey but I'm terrified!!!! I'm 67 years old but tired of jumping back and forth with braids both salon done and homemade etc... transitioning from perm, it's been a year now. My hair is short ... unsure where to begin!!! Challenged with embracing natural hair too!🫣 ... I love it on everyone else!
Awww, hi Maki! Thank you so much for the beautiful compliment. Your smile is amazing as well! You seem like a ray of sunshine. Happy you’re here! ☀️☀️☀️💖💖💖
Hey, good info!! I wash and condition every four weeks and retwist every 8 weeks. I spray rosemary and cloves water every 5 days oil every 3 days, seems like a lot but it’s not. My hair is healthier than it’s ever been. I love it and it’s spiritual for me. There is no other way I want my hair than like it is. It’s getting longer, very proud of my results.
I started my 2 strand twist starter locs not to long ago , (nov 14 ) I been watching all your videos ever since 😃 Cause you the only person that be making sense to me .
Thank you for the tips! My two-strand twists are 2 1/2 weeks old, and I'm trying to have a great loc journey. I saw one of your Mom's videos and our hair is so similar. 😍
Thank you so much for being here!!!! Congratulations on your new loc journey. I’m always happy to hear from people who have hair similar to my moms. She was told not to start her loc journey because of her hair type and she’s almost one year locd!!! So happy she didn’t listen 😍😍😍🎉🎉🎉
Your energy seems so dope along with your voice and how you delivered your POV. Thanks for the tips + your locs look great. I’m 14 months in and agree with everything you’ve said.
Thank you so much for being here and leaving some love! I’m so happy you can relate to what was said in this video and it makes me feel good to know I’m not alone out here on this journey. Can’t wait to reach 14 months like you! In the meantime I am enjoying every day. Sending you lots of love and tons of hugs!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Great energy, love your smile, sis. I’ve been on this journey six years, so you gotta know what works for you, I agree with you. As far as an itchy scalp, there are some essential oils that you can blend together with an oil to put on the scalp to help and let sit prior to shampooing. Lemongrass is one that is known to work on dandruff, as well as ylang ylang and lavender. I make my own hair oil and add it to my deep conditioner also, and sometimes you can add to your shampoo and massage into the scalp really well. Thanks for sharing your tips!
Hey Karen!!! Thanks so much for being here and leaving some love queen. It really means so much! I can’t believe you’ve been loc’d for six years. That’s so encouraging to me. Thanks so much for the tips!!! Your wisdom makes this community so much better. Sending you love and light 💖🌟
I have a question sexy, the picture where the locs is thinning out was that your experience or was that just a picture. I'm asking because that's what I'm going through.
Great informative video! I have been locked for three years. I think it’s important to remember everyone hair texture is different and so thickness may not always be achievable. I learned that within my first year. I also don’t always cover my hair at night and don’t retwist much. I barely do anything to them lol.
Hey Kenneth! Awww, thanks so much for being here and leaving some love 🥳 congratulations on 7 months!!! What a milestone 💖💖💖 wishing you the happiest journey!!!
i did as well I did them the day prior to my twentieth birthday, so i’m almost a week in now, but I’m super excited for you and hope that you enjoy the journey of your locs :)
6:36am I am 4 weeks in with my starters. I won't say locs because they look like curly twists. I don't know how long it will take to loc but I am excited. My hair is growing already and I've re-twisted them once. I haven't had to add much products at all. Occasional oil spray but nothing else. I hope they come out as beautiful as yours. Taking all advice given ❤
4-week Loc'd. 1st I used a satin wrap, and it kept coming off when I sleep. So yeah, it did mess my Locs I ordered a satin cap that stays put. 2nd My scalp itches like it's going out of style lol!!! I been using bobby pin but after research I found, tea tree, rosemary, lemon, and mint takes the itch away along with Aloe!! thanks for the helpful advice. Your Locs are amazing
What a cute little kitty!! I ALWAYS use a silk/satin bonnet when I go to bed - I can't not cover my head lol. My small fuzzy almost 10 month old locs look so much happier and neater in the morning. Thanks so much for that tip on not scratching too vigorously. I have an itchy scalp so a good fingernail scratch is really tempting and so very satisfying. Who knew this could damage locs!!! Great content!!
Awww thanks for showing my little mittens some love! He wasn’t too happy to be on camera but I love him so much LOL. I agree with you 100% as far as the scratching of the scalp goes. It’s so tempting and feels so good but the damage can be terrible. I’m so happy you’re here because it’s always great to hear from you!!!
Congratulations on your one year anniversary!!! Did you do anything fun to celebrate? Thanks so much for tuning in as I share my journey. Feels so good to know y’all have my back! Sending you lots of love 💗
Thanks I made my first batch of rose water myself! I really don’t have friends to share this joy with so I’m sharing with you. Their loose naturals LOL. Loved the video
@@estheralfred2448 dried rose petals bring cup of water to boil turn off put petals in until just enough so they are covered by water put lid on lets them sit till they puff drain and store keeps in fridge for a month and out of fridge for a week. It was fun actual just let it cool some before you put in your bottles
Hey Ms. Sharon!!!! Thanks so much for being here and sharing your rosewater recipe with us. Such a cool process! I have yet to try it but you have inspired me. Happy to be on this journey with you!!!! Lol. You are such a joy.
I have a starter loc appointment on Tuesday. I’m so excited and cannot wait to begin my journey😊 my only worry is that I have scalp eczema and my scalp get sooo itchy and flaky
Awww, thank you for being so kind!!! This community thrives because of beautiful people like you!!! 💖💖💖 congratulations on your new journey and welcome to the family!!!
I love your hair, and the style you chose, I don’t see what your talking about with the negative aspects of your hair. But you look warm and inviting with that style. You give me ideas on how I’m going to style mine before i retwist again.
Mines too my hair is thick so I moisturize it also twist lock gel and beeswax and oil those 4 products together kept my hair hydrated also the style last longer
Hi! Covering or tying my locs at night, literally gives me headaches. So I praise Satin pillow cases on everything! When I’m home I secure a satin pillowcase on the sofa or anything my head leans on to avoid friction. The con is your hair will have a less uniformed appearance.
If you tie your hair down with a satin scarf you can preserve your locs longer in between retwist...If you don’t tie it down but your going like 2 months in between retwist your head will be so tender at the next retwist
This is my 7th day of sisterlocs lol I spent 5 days working on myself i also vlogged the whole thing just haven’t posted it bc im still reflecting on me.. I feel so much love in and around me maybe because I did them lol. Been watching videos about loc care since! Your voice is so soothing and easy to listen to! Thank you! New subbie here💖
I started on finger coil am going on a semi free form I water it with oil n water n wash every MOnth. I cover Mines every night. September am going to be 1yr on my loc journey
Great content! I'm on my third journey in the last 8ish years. I'm still learning and I'm sure this time I'll keep them. I don't want anything else. Thanks for the video! Also you remind me of Tempest Bledsoe a little bit 😁
I been growing my locs 6yrs and I rarely, ever forget to cover my hair. I can count using one of my hands how times I've actually went without covering my hair whenever I go to sleep.
I use clove oil and water and mist daily. I tie them with a silk scarf and was my hair weekly. Less product, no excessive manipulation and they wil thrive. Your locs are beautiful!!!! Loc beads are better they don't snatch your hair.
Awesome video!! In my experience, diet is also important, drinking alot of water is helpful to locs. Love your videos, you have an amazing media presence ♥️🙏
Awww, thank you so much for being here and leaving some love. I agree with you about diet and water. I’m a firm believer that what we put inside will manifest outside. Sending you lots of love and tons of hugs ♥️♥️♥️
Yeah my stylist said no washing period b/c its like resetting the process, but I think its more of the type of hair you have I say this since mine is curly soft hair so it will be difficult to lock if I wash it. I get my retwist every 2 weeks. So far I'm loving the loc journey its more comfortable and cheaper than braids.
I always cover my locs and I do use jamaican oil and mouse once every week. This was recommended by my loctitian and I wash my hair once a month as well. I started my loc journey 2/25/23. I’m a new subscriber as well.
Hi Alexis your locs is growing so beautiful . Good tips I will keep them in mind . I started my locs again and I'm very confident that I will keep them in this time around.
Hey love!!! Thanks so much for being here and leaving tons of encouragement. Congratulations on starting your locs again! I can’t wait to hear how this set turns out for you. Keep me posted 😍😍😍
Awww Lovely, your locs look amazing. It doesn’t look like you’ve done anything wrong. I’m 6 months into my loc journey & more relaxed about it all. I too have dry, sensitive & itchy scalp. Actually I wanted to scratch, just as you were mentioning it🥰but I don’t I just Pat the area. Thank you for sharing with us, it makes me feel good that I’m doing the right things. I wash & RETWIST at 4 weeks too. I also have a little girl baby (cat) she’s actually an old gir now, she’s nearly 17 years old & sleeps a lot, but I love her to bits. So glad that you mentioned loc jewellery, I’ve been so tempted, but will continue to wait a bit longer, till at least the 1year mark. Thank you again. Have subscribed & looking forward to your other videos. ONE🫶🏽✨✨🥰
I’m so excited for you! October 26th will be here in no time. Please keep me updated on how your journey is going. Thanks so much for being here and leaving some love 💖💖💖
Hey loves! When scratching that scalp the hair is crying out for moisture usually...I would drink plenty of water(I like "Springwater") Also Get u a big spray bottle n fill half apple cider vinegar n half spring water or make or buy some " rosewater n spray that scalp n rub in good!!😄💯👍🏽👍🏽I wash my hair in light warm to cool water once a month....Less heavy products the less your hair will get dirty suggah's!!But for shine maybe once or twice per.wk.i use a lil'olive oil or castor oil.ALLWAYS cover your hair up at bedtime with a silky or satin doo rag!!! If long hair pull up lightly with a hair band n rest.🙏🏽🙏🏽💞
I was so like you on your last tip lol!!! I scratched horribly and now I have pieces of hair that is not in a loc either. What are you doing to get your locs back? Because yours are beautiful. Thanks for the tips. I could never sleep without my scarf lol Also you're very beautiful! Stay Bless❤🥰
Awww hey beautiful!!! 😍 i’m so glad to hear I’m not alone in this lol i’ve heard that some people use an instant loc tool to put the tiny pieces back into their loc… but I just keep wrapping it around or stuffing it into my locs when it peeks back out. Lol wishing you the happiest journey possible!!!
I just started my journey, I am almost 2 weeks in and I have scratched with my nails. Thank you so much for this video, especially Tip 5, that is a big one. Much Gratitude.
@@AlexisHarris Your welcome, I watch all of your videos. Your mom is too funny, I absolutely love her, your brother too. Your hair seems to be similar to mine. I will continue to watch your videos. Keep up the great work!
You’re stunning. Just crocheted my Afro after a yeah and a half of growing it, thanks so much for helping the journey even though they’re pretty long. ❤️
Hey Shannon!!! Congratulations on your recent journey and I wish you nothing but the best. I’m so happy we both love cats! I feel like that’s kind of rare these days 😍😍 lol sending you all the love in the world. Thanks for being here and welcome to the community 🥳
You are so beautiful sis! I have microlocs so I do t really watch traditional loc vids but I saw you and was like awww! 😊 Thx for the info on the loc jewelry.
Wish this video was out when my locs got started and great video as always and I can relate to all these tips especially getting my locs over styled in the beginning of my journey to 6 months to a year. The itchy scalp one as well I use to scratch my scalp like crazy
I have 470 micro locs. I stopped going to my ‘beautician’ who was using a retightening tool which was thinning my hair. I’ve been re-twisting my hair on my own but I’ve noticed a lot of different sized locs. Thankfully, my hair is doing better with me re-twisting it.
Hey hun! Just found your videos! I'm 4 years in to my 2nd loc journey. I usually don't sleep with a cap on because I'm a horrible sleeper and I'm prone to migraines, but I don't have any lint and it helps my locs to mature better lol. I don't have any linty clothes either so I don't have to worry about that
I'm just getting here 😬! I make sure that I cover my hair because my hair attracts lint. I started my 2nd journey yesterday. I stopped using products this time around!
Hey Alexis, I just subscribed cos I absolutely love your locs...... I'm a little over a year locd right now and the general opinion of what's good for locs and what isn't is kind of different here in Nigeria, but I do wish my locs could come out looking like yours ❤❤❤❤
Just started my journey! Had a lot of box braid styles but decided to get comb coils and start my journey. almost 2 weeks in and I notice I'm loving it. I think after my first two monthly retwists I'll be in the clear!
Awww!!! Thank you so much for being here and joining the family. It really means more than you know! Super excited to have you in this community 💖🌟 sending you lots of loveeee
Okg the last tip was sooo good because I just started my locs in March and I had to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist because the hair follicles is not hydrating my hair if that makes sense. Not only that my scalp is extremely itchy 😩
I used to get my hair retwisted every two weeks in the beginning of my loc journey til someone told me that it would ruin it. So now I get them done once a month but thinking about doing it every two months now 🙁
Just listen to your hair and re-twist when you think it is necessary. I love that you are learning as you go and making adjustments as needed. That’s the way to a successful journey in my opinion! Keep it up 😍😍😍
Awww!!!! Congratulations on making it one year loc’d!!!! I’m so happy for you and so glad that you’re here 😍😍😍🥳🥳🥳👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 did you do anything fun to celebrate?
That was the goal. Glad i could help brighten your day a little. Im debating whether to do instant locs or just keep my two strand twists till they loc lol. And also subscribe to my Channel. Im gonna be posting videos like yours soon :$

This the comment right here!
You're insanely attractive 😍
Doing both actually 🥰
started gardening and my locs around the same time a week ago . For sure learning as I go ✨✨
Your tips are great. I've already started my journey and just discovered you today, but from this point on, I will follow your advice
Started 2 days ago. Anxious and excited after my long hair journey
I just made a year on May 10th... an I'm so happy you put tips out there as you go on your journey.
Congratulations on your one year anniversary!!! Did you do anything fun to celebrate? Thanks so much for tuning in as I share my journey. Feels so good to know y’all have my back! Sending you lots of love 💗
@@AlexisHarris I celebrated by trying hair wax for the first time, but now I want to dye my locs lol
Thanks I made my first batch of rose water myself! I really don’t have friends to share this joy with so I’m sharing with you. Their loose naturals LOL. Loved the video
How did you make it?
@@estheralfred2448 dried rose petals bring cup of water to boil turn off put petals in until just enough so they are covered by water put lid on lets them sit till they puff drain and store keeps in fridge for a month and out of fridge for a week. It was fun actual just let it cool some before you put in your bottles
Thank.you
Hey Ms. Sharon!!!! Thanks so much for being here and sharing your rosewater recipe with us. Such a cool process! I have yet to try it but you have inspired me. Happy to be on this journey with you!!!! Lol. You are such a joy.
@@AlexisHarris you have been an inspiration thanks!
I have a starter loc appointment on Tuesday. I’m so excited and cannot wait to begin my journey😊 my only worry is that I have scalp eczema and my scalp get sooo itchy and flaky
I love your energy, u have kind eyes✨ I just started my love journey I’m not even a week in lol! loving your videos so helpful🫂 💞
Covering my locs keeps the moisture in them for me🥰 my hair tends to eat oil😅 so I definitely cover mine lol
Same here!!! Lol 😍🥳
Mines too my hair is thick so I moisturize it also twist lock gel and beeswax and oil those 4 products together kept my hair hydrated also the style last longer
Sending love from South Africa 🇿🇦❤️🔥. I just did my start-up locs. I wanna wanna copy and paste your routine because I love the results.
Awww hey beautiful!!!! Thanks so much for being here ❤️😍😘
I’m about to start my journey this Saturday! I’m so excited and nervous and a little wary. I can’t wait to experience this journey!
Awww!!!! You are going to love it! We are all here for you in this community every step of the way. Wishing you the happiest journey possible!!!!!
I had my consult yesterday. I felt the same way. But made my appointment for 11/8/2021. Im so nervous. But it’s time. Lol.
Deidre Franklin lmaoo bro just get em done , not that big of a deal
😭I wish I could see your progress, since its been like 5 months now
Your energy and spirit are so amazing!! Your locs are so similar to mine. Thanks so much for the video!❤️
Awww!!! Thanks so much for being here and leaving some love. So glad you’re part of this community 💖💖🎉🎉
I'm starting my journey today and im loving these tips
Awww yay!!!! Congratulations on your new journey and welcome to the family 😍🥳
Hi! Covering or tying my locs at night, literally gives me headaches. So I praise Satin pillow cases on everything! When I’m home I secure a satin pillowcase on the sofa or anything my head leans on to avoid friction. The con is your hair will have a less uniformed appearance.
Thank you sweetheart. Your joy is contagious. God bless you sis.
I'm on a semi-free form journey after cutting my 11 year old locs. Ive decided to retwist every three months but I may go longer if I can stand it.
Beautiful!!! Love it
If you tie your hair down with a satin scarf you can preserve your locs longer in between retwist...If you don’t tie it down but your going like 2 months in between retwist your head will be so tender at the next retwist
I agree!!!
That’s beautiful to hear! Sounds like you have a great loc maintenance routine going. Thanks for sharing with the community!!!!
I'll be a year in September too.
I have not covered my starter locs since February of this year and have seen no issue.
So good to know!!! Thanks for sharing love 💖💖💖
You're so pretty. Thanks for the tips. I started my journey 2 months ago.
im bout to start my locs wit 2 strands and i juss wanna say preciate you.
ayeee, much love Caleb! I appreciate you for being here ♥️ good luck
Just started my loss today and im so excited for this journey!
You are a beautiful person and thank you for the tips. I’m almost 2 years loc’d💗💗
Hey gorgeous!!! Thank you so much for being here and sending some love my way 💖💖💖💖 can’t wait to reach my two year loc anniversary lol
Wow, love it! I’m super impressed 😍👏🏾
Period
@@AlexisHarris you are a really sweet soul💕 sending love right back at you, keep sending great videos, they are amazing 😊
I’m locking off 2 strand twists and I just subscribed definitely sound very educated and helpful
Thanks so much for being here, commenting, and subscribing!!! I really appreciate it 😊💕 welcome to the community
It’s prolly just me but you definitely resemble Kyla Pratt‼️💕
Lol I’ve been told that as a kid but much less frequently as an adult!!! She’s beautiful though 😍😍😍 thanks for being here!!!
Video starts at 3:30 for anyone wondering
The scratching!!! I had to stop as well because I noticed short pieces in my crown
Exaaaaactly!!!!! The short pieces made me so sad. I was so ashamed lol but we live and we learn! 💖
ONE🫶🏽✨✨🥰
October 26th is the day!! Thank you for the tips. Your hair looks beautiful and you are gorgeous
I’m so excited for you! October 26th will be here in no time. Please keep me updated on how your journey is going. Thanks so much for being here and leaving some love 💖💖💖
I’m considering locs, learning so much from your channel. Thank you
i love your energy so much you make me feel so safe and happy
Love your tips. Youre a very naturally beautiful woman and have a flawless smile
Awww wow! Thanks so much for making my day. So happy you’re here and part of this community!!!
Thanks so much for sharing 💖💖💖
I’m so glad you’re here! Congratulations on your new journey. I’m also glad you found this video useful. Your positive feedback really means a lot!!!
Awww, thank you so much!!! I’m super excited for you and your journey 💖💖💖 keep me posted! Welcome to the community 💫
I just started my loc journey 4 months ago, and I love your videos. Then you are a cat lover like me OMG, I love it keep up the great videos.
Hey Shannon!!! Congratulations on your recent journey and I wish you nothing but the best. I’m so happy we both love cats! I feel like that’s kind of rare these days 😍😍 lol sending you all the love in the world. Thanks for being here and welcome to the community 🥳
You are freaking GORGEOUS!!!!! And I absolutely love your locs !
Awww THANK YOU SO MUCH BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! 😍😍😍🥳
Awww, I’m so glad you can relate to what I was saying!!!! Thanks so much for tuning in 😍😍😍
@@AlexisHarris Me too and Your welcome anytime 🤗
I have 470 micro locs. I stopped going to my ‘beautician’ who was using a retightening tool which was thinning my hair. I’ve been re-twisting my hair on my own but I’ve noticed a lot of different sized locs. Thankfully, my hair is doing better with me re-twisting it.
Hey hun! Just found your videos! I'm 4 years in to my 2nd loc journey. I usually don't sleep with a cap on because I'm a horrible sleeper and I'm prone to migraines, but I don't have any lint and it helps my locs to mature better lol. I don't have any linty clothes either so I don't have to worry about that
Awe the way your face lit up with mittens. So cute!
😍😍😍 awww thanks love, that’s my baby!!! Lol
Girl you is so beautiful 💖loved the video and I feel like I’m ready for my loc journey 😄
Awww thank you my love!!!! 😍😘 I’m so happy you’re here. Please let me know when you start and how it goes. You got this!!! 🥳

Thanks for being here dear friend!!!
Thank you Alexis ..Your hair looks Great.fullness, shape & thickness of your locs. Take Care
Awww, thank you so much!!!! So happy you’re here. Take care and talk soon 💖💖💖
I'm just getting here 😬! I make sure that I cover my hair because my hair attracts lint. I started my 2nd journey yesterday. I stopped using products this time around!
I love your locs ! I hope mines look good too soon!! Thank you for this video
I dont cover my locs at night too much but now im getting into the habit.. im looking for your video on how to make mines thinker now actually lol
Lol! Thanks Frederick!!! I appreciate the support 💖💖💖
Hey Alexis, I just subscribed cos I absolutely love your locs...... I'm a little over a year locd right now and the general opinion of what's good for locs and what isn't is kind of different here in Nigeria, but I do wish my locs could come out looking like yours ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the advice on itching scalp because I have been scratching my scalp like crazy
Thank you so much for tuning in! I’m happy you found this video helpful. Itchy scalp is so tough to deal with sometimes. I understand completely 💗
Starting my locs today, can’t wait! 4 hrs left😁
Love it!!!! How’d it go?! 😍😍😍
Thank you for making this video. I just started my locs journey( with 2 strand twists), recently 21st of August!

Okg the last tip was sooo good because I just started my locs in March and I had to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist because the hair follicles is not hydrating my hair if that makes sense. Not only that my scalp is extremely itchy 😩
I dug this, thanks for the upload I've decided to subscribe!!!✌✌✌
Thanks so much and thank you for subscribing! Welcome to the family 💖💖💖
Keep it up 😍😍😍
I wouldn’t do that until your almost 2 years in because they still need to be trained. It’s all about the technique
Yeah ive been doing them every 2 months and my locs looking better then ever im on my 2nd year
Awesome tips! Currently, a year loc’d! ❤️
Awww!!!! Congratulations on making it one year loc’d!!!! I’m so happy for you and so glad that you’re here 😍😍😍🥳🥳🥳👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 did you do anything fun to celebrate?
Your hair is beautiful!! I definitely need to establish a maintenance routine.
And I love your lip color- can you share where you purchased?
Awww thank you so much!!! 😍😍😍 I bought the lipstick from Walmart. It is a shade of covergirl I believe 💖
Very useful! Thank you so very much! Very insightful and so very important to a second time locker... 💞🥀
I got to the last one and cringed that was the one that I needed to hear! 😆😆
Awww lol 😍👏🏾🎉 happy you’re here loveeee!!!!!! So glad
Had my locs for a month I just put my hair straight up to avoid it rubbing and collect stuff from my sheets and they seem to be going strong still
Nice!!!!! Congratulations on your new journey 👏🏾🥳💖
