I cut my locs to start over after one year of growth since the coronavirus outbreak stepped in. But now I'm currently growing hair all over my head till my 27th birthday I mean it used to be nappy back when I was a kid. Now as a grown man...you can tell I got softer hair. I think all of the hints have to do with keeping your hair moisturized, the silk pillowcase can help keep your hair at night instead of a cotton one and drinking water hydrates you from the inside out. Im not sure what the pain meds are for lol.
All of those items for me mean to trust the process. Keep your hair moisturized, keep it protected at night, keep it lint free, no stressing and stay hydrated. I will comment later after I view the rest of the video.

I'm new to the locs journey just a quick question my two twist is now 3weeks nw I wash it last week and some of my hair are pull out what should I do because the middle is very very short and everyday I spray water in it, it still pull out but I'm not giving up because it so much cheap by the way I'm in love your locs and can't wait till mines reach to your level.

It sounds like you are dealing with hair unraveling, is that right? When my locs unraveled in the early stages, I would just re-twist them or wrap around the loose pieces. There’s also an instant loc tool that you can use to stuff the loose pieces back into the loc strand. I would wait until your locks mature a little bit more though before starting that or trying that tool. I hope this helps! Keep me posted 💖
I've tried the whole rose water mist and oil combination and I still get that "dread rot" smell, so therefore, I just simply oil my scalp when necessary
@@AlexisHarris "the oil only" method actually is better than me misting my locz. It prevents my scalp from itching big time and of course, no dread rot odor. I typically use organic, cold-pressed oils
1 moisturizing 2 loc protection 3 remove lint or prevent lint in locs 4 don't retwist too tight 5 stay hydrated our locs are like flowers we have to stay hydrated for healthy locs
1. Moisturize your locs/scalp with water yhen seal with oil 2. Sleep on a silk/satin pillowcase 3. Use a lint roller to gently remove any lint that got into your locs 4. If yoy get headaches from a tight retwist, take the pain meds to keep from touching the locs themselves 5. Drink plenty of water to hydrate your hiar/scalp from the "inside"

Great question! I personally keep my water and oil separate but my mom mixes hers. The only thing I keep in my spray bottle is water and I apply the oil after I spray the water on my hair to seal in the moisture. But it’s totally up to you!

It sounds like you are dealing with hair unraveling, is that right? When my locs unraveled in the early stages, I would just re-twist them or wrap around the loose pieces. There’s also an instant loc tool that you can use to stuff the loose pieces back into the loc strand. I would wait until your locks mature a little bit more though before starting that or trying that tool. I hope this helps! Keep me posted 💖
I've tried the whole rose water mist and oil combination and I still get that "dread rot" smell, so therefore, I just simply oil my scalp when necessary

@@AlexisHarris "the oil only" method actually is better than me misting my locz. It prevents my scalp from itching big time and of course, no dread rot odor. I typically use organic, cold-pressed oils

1. Moisturize your locs/scalp with water yhen seal with oil
2. Sleep on a silk/satin pillowcase
3. Use a lint roller to gently remove any lint that got into your locs
4. If yoy get headaches from a tight retwist, take the pain meds to keep from touching the locs themselves
5. Drink plenty of water to hydrate your hiar/scalp from the "inside"

Do you mix oil and water together in spray bottle
Great question! I personally keep my water and oil separate but my mom mixes hers. The only thing I keep in my spray bottle is water and I apply the oil after I spray the water on my hair to seal in the moisture. But it’s totally up to you!
