    $2.23/mile gross compensation. The IRS standard mileage deduction is $0.67. If we assume that amount is enough to cover fuel, maintenance, and other vehicle expenses, we get $1.56 net compensation. And of course you can deduct the mileage which reduces your tax liability. So, total compensation $1.56/mile * 48.2 miles = $75.19, or $25/hour net wage. All things considered, not really too bad for what is essentially unskilled labor (no offense) that can be done on a flexible schedule when you feel like doing it.

      Haha none taken :) I agree, you need a flexible schedule. Or at least shouldn’t fully rely on it. That’s why I made the shift to part time W-2 with the intention to go full time. Hopefully do these apps then for extra cash and to boost goals like saving for a house, etc.

    You can do the route way faster if you route yourself using their GPS. Pick a direction that is most efficient for you. Let's say starting at the far part of town and working you way. Your last stop needs to be the closest to the entry point when you started. Always use the map to route yourself don't let it route you it will drag you all over town as it routed for the time that was allocated. Of course organize your packages to your route and destination that could save you a lot of time.
    I did a 4 hour route in 2 hours paid a $100 I made $50 an hour.

    Damn I started last week and I’m only seeing blocks for 53-$63 smh. If I saw $100 blocks I would do 2 a day but at $63 for the work it’s Just not worth it.

      Yeah, I usually only get a few per week. I never take any at the base rate. My minimum is $25/hr for this app since the mileage is unpredictable

      We need better transparency from Amazon flex that will show us on the routes available for each time.Block what areas or mileage to anticipate. This would allow drivers to make better decisions If a rate on a route is fair to them as a driver.

    You should do a Overhead review on this I'm sure you're 30+ an hour will drop once you take in consideration fuel and car maintenance.

      Oh absolutely. I have a video that breaks down all the costs associated but I can start putting in a little section for these kinds of vids.

      As a driver, $30+ per hour minimum is the only way to know you are truly going
      to make the route worth your time. They want you to look at an hourly rate her block but, They feel it's fair to send you in any kind of direction with whatever mileage that block might take to complete. There's no consideration for the amount of miles, fuel costs for the driver, and, vehicle upkeep costs for the driver.

      @AlexShinn  19 дней назад +1

      You know I never really checked til now since I have unlimited, but i guess a lot 😅 though I basically have it on 24/7 since I keep checking for routes.
      Not sure how to check what the data period is but it says 61.8GB 😳
