    Honestly for whoever is struggling to label parcels, what I usually do is sort them by what they are so boxes in the boot, miscellaneous on the back right seat, envelopes next to me on the passenger seat, and so on and so forth. I never rlly lose much time. I just read on the app what it is (Envelope), I know where it is and then I just find the correct number. Usually works for me

    You have such a positive outset delivering in these empty, uncertain roads. Me personally, I would be confused & worried, even if the weather is sunny, so I would rather work in a busy area where things are exciting & get paid less!!

    Just did my first Flex Logistics block today as was inspired by you. Loading/organising the packages while at the DC was a bit stressful - I ended up pulling over before the first drop to number each parcel with a sharpie. Bar that it was pretty smooth! Love the videos man, hope to see you at Exeter or around at some point. 👍

      Use the yellow driver aid sticker bud don’t need to use a sharpie then good luck to you in your deliveries

      They’re useless for these blocks (DSP reject blocks) the yellow stickers are only helpful on same-day delivery blocks.

    • @autohustles
      @autohustles  3 месяца назад +2

      If it’s a same-day delivery block (usually the evening blocks) they’re numbered like 001-040 which is helpful. If it’s a DSP block (which the daytime blocks usually are) then you get weird shit like U51 and 561 on the stickers which isn’t helpful at all, so I feel you

    • @autohustles
      @autohustles  3 месяца назад +4

      That’s not a bad strategy for the daytime blocks to be fair, the yellow stickers aren’t helpful unless you’re doing an evening block for same-day deliveries where they’re numbered properly. Say hi if you see me at Exeter! 🙌🏻

    When you are loading the vechile use the yellow stickers on the packages. They have a driver aid number and if you are delivering same day delivery you can organise your stops in cronoligical order will save you a lot of time when you are out on the road

    • @autohustles

    I have just submitted all my details to amazon after being on the waiting list for just a few months, i just open the app now and then and it normally says we are not taking on any new drivers at the moment, but this time it said there are and advising to apply fast before recruiting ends, so just waiting for the backgrounds checks to clear, and i will be giving it a go, as a way to top up my private pension, only seven years to retirement.

    It’s fascinating watching how it is in the UK versus here in the US. Seems identical. Do they have Instant Offers where you are? With Flex I enjoy doing the Instant Offers from Whole Foods here in the Philly Suburbs. They show the route info, drop off locations, stops, etc. It’s been slow here too all year with all the apps. Doordash, Uber Eats, Instacart, Shipt, Spark, Flex, etc

    • @autohustles
      @autohustles  3 месяца назад +1

      Don’t think we get Instant Offers, we just get those reserved “Just For You” blocks that come up every so often, nothing special about them just you get to reserve them in advance. Seems like food and grocery delivery is struggling in lots of areas right now, would like to see it pick up to the same levels as a couple years ago. Thanks for watching from across the pond 🙌🏻

    Why when you select: question mark at top right of screen > then customer unavailable > call or text customer does it not register first time and send you back to station? This afternoon I had to repeat this process about 6 times before it would register and give me the option to “return to station now” or “return by 10am” the next day. The customer did not answer but why does the app keep making you phone the customer multiple times?

    There is no way your fuel is that cheap plus you drive a really old banger so how are you getting 45+ MPG? That car does 35 mpg at best. Show us your mpg guage I really don't believe your fuel is that cheap

    • @autohustles
      @autohustles  3 месяца назад +1

      I have my fuel tracker note imgur.com/a/6vo6zcp that’s my last few fills tracked, do the maths if you want, my expenses are accurate. Averages around 14-15p per mile depending on fuel prices.
      I drive sensibly because this car is for work, 60-70mph on motorways, easy 40-45mpg even in a 13 year old Micra. The thing barely moves faster than a snail it’s not hard to get decent mileage from it.

    • @SlushyCheese
      @SlushyCheese 3 месяца назад +1

      @@autohustles yes but real life mpg and £ is not what you see on your dashboard. You have to calculate it? Did you do that? If you see 40mpg in reality you are getting 30-35mpg give or take.
