Appreciate it mate! Making as many as I can, life is hectic right now with my daughter just starting nursery, Mrs back to work now, free time is hard to come by but I'll be back soon!
I think you should try the Tour. That would be pretty cool to check out the differences. Thanks for your videos. I learned a lot about your country from you. Never miss. Cheers from the Florida.
Fellow delivery driver here - You've popped up on my homepage a few times in the last week, and I subscribed earlier today. Really enjoying the content :) Good to see someone delivering with a car on here, because the other RUclipsrs I've seen all have bikes/motorbikes. Also I like the fact that you talk about expenses, which others seem to gloss over when talking about their earnings. Would definitely be interested in the tour of different cities - Even if you end up being unable to do the whole week-long tour due to family commitments, standalone videos in places like Bristol, Exeter and Weymouth would still be interesting IMO. I've definitely considered going to other places to deliver, particularly Scarborough (I'm in Leeds, so it's about 60 miles away). Before Uber got rid of the old multiplier boost system, Scarborough was 1.1x - 1.3x almost 24/7 because I think Uber Eats was fairly new in that market. However, my insurance (£3,200 for 25,000 miles = ~13p/mile, because it's my first year owning a car and I live in not a great area where I have to park on the street) as well as petrol (my car only manages 30-32mpg bc it's a 16 year old car and I couldn't afford anything newer with better mpg at the time) means it doesn't really make sense for me - with the time/expense of travelling somewhere and back, as well as the costs I'd naturally incur just delivering anyway, I'd need to earn so much to break even that I wouldn't have time to actually explore wherever I chose to visit for the day. I think the expenses are a barrier for other drivers considering this as well, especially those with less efficient vehicles.
25 years a cabbie here.. Really enjoying your content...and it's giving me much food for thought! You idea of doing a working tour sounds great...Go for it! Subbed
@@autohustles Nah...Uber are blocked from operating in my borough of Southend on Sea. We have the weirdest council. Tbh I'm pretty fed up driving people around after so long of mainly nights. What a bit of luck to park up right behind the warden walking away from you hahaa. I would defo be interested in the uber eats tour idea. Keep up the videos, love watching them and it keeps me motivated to keep working on my own channel!
Hahaha I got the hang of it after a few hundred times 😂 it’s fun when you turn right from Chritchard to Toneway using the middle lane, no one seems to know you can and you get beeped from all directions 😂 bloody awful roundabout
Another great video. Food delivery can give you a break from Flex and means you can do the hours you want whereas Flex is set times n you won't always get the best slots. I would love to see a UK tour. I've loved your Wester S Mare videos and it'll be interesting see else where n how much you can make compared to Taunton. Thanks again and hope for another video soon.
Some countries require leaving headlights on all day. I believe Italy and Poland have this rule. With modern LED's it makes sense. I think i may adopt this approach.
The tour video is a great idea. Maybe do it where you start with no money and no food and you can’t eat or book a room without earning enough to pay for it each day? That would be a good laugh, for us anyway! You’d probably be hungry and sleeping in your car! Keep up the quality content, really enjoy it.

Hey bro, I'm new to the platform. I might take my first ride next week after the new year. Although I like the fun of it, how much do you think I can make in a worst case scenario if I do it for 12 hours a day (location : Edinburgh) Thanks in advance
Kfc ain’t as busy because it’s gone horrible and well too expensive 😂 but love the tour idea. Come to Bradford 😂 I’ve just started doing Evri deliveries and thinking of filming it.
I am an ASDA Delivery Driver and, at least for the store I work for, about 70% of the Uber drivers are told to cancel the orders as their orders and never picked due to being short-staffed. I guess deliveries take top priority, then Click-n-Collect and then Uber.
Hi love your videos I’ve just started to Uber eats food delivery as a side hustle got to say it’s hit or miss but I enjoy it. It’s a cracking idea you travelling the country delivering in different parts of the uk if you’re ever in Wigan give us a shout 😁

I was raised with the idea that if you see someone lifting (in a chain store specifically), you ignore. People don't lift unless they need it and the chains can absorb the loss. Unfortunately there's been a growth in people lifting for more nefarious reasons, so I get why people are frustrated by it.
Multiple locations sounds great - for me Bath and Bristol immediately stand out as places to do, imagine you could get away with not paying for hotels for those. Maybe some coastal cities like Plymouth and Portsmouth?
I'd selfishly love to see you come to Newcastle Upon Tyne to do UberEats & Deliveroo, I'm from there and hope to do food delivery once I'm driving and it would be interesting to see how busy it is.
How about if you other delivery drivers to work with in there patch? That might be a cool video. I did flex/uber for about 5 months as a full time job and disliked pretty much every min but it’s quite cool seeing a different side where someone loves it 😂
Ive just paid my sterling check on uber and about to order an eskuta netuno plus e bike to get set up on deliveries for uber in my spare time/days off, ill be more than happy going out fkr a few hours and getting between 25-40 quid as it will just be a side thing for me for an extra little bit of cash
Love the vid as always…hope the GF & baby are well mate I’m loving the idea of 7 day holiday trip but you need to come all the way up to Glasgow for a big tip from me I’ll happily pay something towards a hotel or petrol
In this economy, ordering food delivery is really an unnecessary expense for a lot of people. Which is probably why it's not doing so well for the drivers. But I'll keep watching your content, regardless of if it's Deliveroo or Flex!
I personally would be very interested in the food delivery around the UK challenge. I am a sameday courier on courier exchange (CX) and thats similar to what I do but delivering parcels.
Great video and loads of infomation for us 1st timers. Cna I ask how you change the values on your excel sheet as my fuel/insurance is a differnet price mpg changes daily etc. Im not excel savvy sorry
Gotta go in the formula and edit the number for the fuel price (0.1xxx) to whatever yours is - to work it out, make sure you track your mileage and fuel cost to fill up every time to go to a pump then you can divide miles by £ spent.
Hi Mate, would you be interested in doing some work for the contractor I've been working with? He pays quite well. Generally. A pound a drop pickup is at greendale, just outside of Exeter... I know he's desperate for drivers at the moment... It's better than Amazon as he will always tell you where you are going and all the drops are close together
I'd still say there's a slight chance Amazon could decrease the pay anytime they want, while Food Delivery should stay consistent now (since they have already done the damage post covid). Best to keep both available to maximise earnings!
True, though in the last 2 years I’ve only seen the rates increase. It was £54.50 for 3.5 hours last year, now it’s £61.50 (in my area anyway). They seem to be following inflation unlike food delivery apps which have definitely decreased average fees over the last 2 years. But you’re right, best to have all the apps available to work on, we never know what’s gonna happen.
Can you give any details on the car insurance side of things, like which company to use and average costs and is it via a third party insurance company?
Is it feasible to deliver in a car there? I would LOVE to come to London as part of the trip, was thinking Haringey because my uncle lives near Ally Pally and it's out of central enough that it might be doable in a car.
