Doordash only says you get priority for higher paying offers with silver, gold, or platinum status. Nowhere does it say the trash offers go away if you're in one of those tiers.
This right here is the main point people are missing! The trash offers will still be offered. But the way DD is saying it as though you’re ONLY going to get TOP PAYING OFFERS! So basically they’re lying without lying. lol
@comedianchris3629 It's the drivers that are seeing that word 'ONLY' when it's not there. Doordash will continue to put out these programs and drivers will fall for it again, 'this is the program that will finally get rid of the trash offers.'🤣
I agree I tried platinum for two months and it is complete garbage. Absolutely never again will I be suckered into taking unprofitable orders EVER AGAIN
Staying at gold worked better for me. Everytime i move up to platinum, i get double drops that are both low pays, so disguised as high pay. Or, they're longer distance, and 'so called' high paying, that don't match the time taken to deliver. Especially when rural, and there's nothing to pick up on your return journey.
@AlexShinn yeah, scheduling is the downside. It's only recently where I've been doing less deliveries, so moving between gold and platinum over the past couple of months, I noticed this pattern, and usually float between 80 - 90 percent acceptance rate.
Can’t weed out the small offers. Your acceptance rate will go to crap fast. Not to mention, the $2 add on orders that slow you down and cause you to miss a full order. Dash will slowly suck you way out to the no money or tips fringes in bad neighborhoods. That makes and deadhead back as far as 10 miles.
I understand if your market is slow why it’s hard to maintain that 100 deliveries but if it’s not bro, it’s 25 deliveries a week how is that not part time??? maintaining the 100 deliveries is easy. I don’t even have to think about it.
I don't know what is true. Is cherry picking dead? Does it pay to go silver? It probably depends on the location most of the time. Thank you for sharing your experience. Your sincerity is a joy. The content is a bonus
Look the only good thing about platinum is you can dash whenever whenever you want. I tested gold and platinum. And platinum I love how I can just dash in my city and plus if your in LA you can see the busy places as if being gold you gotta travel to other cities if they outside of your own

@@Killerwhale317 i don’t think that’s even possible on earn by time which means you gotta learn how to choose better offers my guy. You don’t have to have 100% acceptance rate and you should never take $2 offers much less stacks 🤷♂️
But ur part time so ur not on door dash full time and ur multi apping. So other dashers doing full time and only door dash are gonna see those other orders.
@@ericberry6557 The vast majority of dashers are part time, so my experience is probably closer to the average experience. I would hate to be in a market like that. Luckily for me, scheduling out isn’t a big deal. Most of the time 5 days out is wide open so I just slice up the day in blocks and drop whatever I won’t use

I do Doordash in NYC and it is TRASH!!! I'm platinum and I'm unable to schedule times to dash.

The number one draw for these apps is freedom. I won’t be giving any of that up for something they can’t even promise and also can change on a whim

How’s scheduling for you? Since I don’t really need dash now that might be a decent strategy I might try this holiday season

Platinum does give you good orders and high paying orders if you get the big order and complete them in a great rating

After my ebt experiment i couldn’t bring myself to do it again to raise my AR. In my market ebt is 80% 12+ mile trips.
So yeah all by offer
Earn by time is a rip off, the only way to make it worth it is to sit at the restaurant, pretending you are waiting for the order....
