- Hello guys, sit back, relax and enjoy my highlights from my first podium placing race at Long Beach. I had the absolute time of my life racing at Long Beach, and I wanted to clutch up that win, but it does feel good to get onto that podium. Super excited to see what the rest of the season holds for Andretti Autosports and me. Maybe a first place is just around the corner?

Indy car is so much more like what F1 was in the 80's and 90's with more emphasis on the drivers.
1:25 - That pit exit was cool. 45 to 100mph in like 2 seconds on COLD tires. Also, thank you to Andretti Autosport for allowing you to continue to use the on-board shots for these race recap videos.

Create a few more series, rename the current series "Indycar America Series" add 2 more "IndyCar Euro series" and "Indycar World series" Win Win Win for all.
I mean I'd also love for F1 to show up to Long Beach at some point, it's an incredibly cool track.

we can dream. But I think the thing that makes the most sense is Australia purely from the audience/driver mixture currently. Will power for the aussies, Scott dixon and Scotty for the Kiwis. with Scott being a super cars champ seems like a win win.

I like an American racing series like IndyCar where the leader doesn’t get wrecked about every week for the win. IndyCar is for true race fans and that other American racing series is for WWE fans.
Those cars look really hard to drive, wheel spin everywhere and it looks like they get really jumpy over bumps as well. Good work just holding onto one of these things!

it is! It was a double-header weekend with the IMSA sportscar championship racing on Saturday. They used the second half of the pit lane, so both series shared one pit lane, basically.

I’m gonna be honest, I know nothing, but I would think instead of trying to pass on the outside, you could carry your momentum, brake early, and do a switchback to get on the inside for the next turn?! But like I said I know nothing lol good to see you kickin ass in IndyCar!

can you please do more onboards, i loved that about last year's videos. 3-5 minutes of pure onboard footage. the intercut to helicopter shots and stationary camera shots really take it away from the thrill of watching your onboards
edit: and you cut AWAY from onboard footage right when the action gets good too but keep onboard of your entire pitstop.. i don't get it

Do you think Road America, or any other Indy track, would be a good F1 track? Like after Montreal.
definitely not. it would ruin the charm and awesomeness of Road America to make it grade 1 for f1. the natural terrain, trees, and high commitment corners are what make it great
@@sams-pg7hj The only changes they would need to make would be landscaping, grandstands and corner curb/ rumble strip paint . Oh yeah , the pits too. Watkins Glen is too close to Montreal to be back to back. It's closer to F1 ready though.
@@PeterKKraus they would ruin the forested natural kettle moraine terrain at Road America. plus the lack of grandstands is cool to be open seating. they wouldn't destroy what makes Road America great for one series if they can do many others on the current setup just fine
@@sams-pg7hj I've never been. I meant grandstands on the main straight. I seems similar to a 2x size Lime Rock. I've been there 6 or 7 times in my life.
@@PeterKKraus it could have grandstands but its cut into parts of a state forest kind of area so its very natural very beautiful and it probably would require some tree clearing for extending the track for runoffs and stuff. Plus, the kink, the most dangerous corner on the track, that wall is actually the property boundary so they cant even extend that if they wanted to
