what is the Smart view??
Smart View is an easy way to screen mirror content from your Samsung phone or tablet to a larger display. Most new Samsung mobile devices have Smart View built in. You can also download the Smart View app if it's not a native feature on your device.
These days our smart view is having a lot of problems, it is not working well, you can get the complete solution through this video, so, to learn it don't skip the video.

I have not performed any steps mentioned in video since all the settings was already there by default , what i found my
samsung m31s phone (android 12) it was not detecting - my Samsung smart tv only, however it was detecting LG and other brands tv
Further i thought to change the wifi network.
I mean i have dual band wifi 2.4Ghz and 5 Ghz. My phone and Samsung tv were connected on 5 Ghz band. So i changed to 2.4 Ghz band . Then it worked perfectly without any issue.
I would suggest to follow steps mentioned in the video check ur setting on phone and check wifi network as well. It may or may not work ,
for me it worked on 2.4 Ghz band

I have now figured out what the solution is. And it is amazing and surprising with my Samsung TV smartphone combination. Smart view works for me only against all recommendations and advices when the TV is not connected to a network, neither with WLAN nor via cable.

did not solve my problem. is detecting, but when trying to connect, keep getting message instructing to restart TV, I'm using miracast on pc, the mrs huawei connects fine, have trouble shot everything- smart thing app also getting same message nothing is working to fix this... samsung sucks.
Worked on my Samsung 7 Series tv. I turned it off from the plug left it for a minute and turned it on and it connects

Did not work for me. My Samsung S8 found Chromecast OK but my A51 does not connect. Both are on the same wifi network. I have 2 wifi networks 2.4G and 5G. I have tried them both but still no luck. The Chromecast is working fine and accessing the internet so the problem is with the phone.
GOT A FIX go in settings then date and time then press "automaticly set in dat and time and then it works im the best i know

I figured it out basically wifi signal drop so much with all this government internet everywhere but just hit network restart and reconnect and connect your internet on your phone at same time so it can recognize it. More easy way upgrade to lg web os smart TV

If you are currently on Android 12 then update your smart view app.
I had to reconnect my wifi on my TV. Now I have smart view and smart things available. But it is worthless it just shows my background now. Audio works great now but you can't see anything!

Smash your phone and cuss and cry.
All steps, including "clear data", plus phone restart and Sony Android TV restart helped to get screen mirroring on Samsung Galaxy S9.

Photos shared using Smart View on my S23+ looks worse on my tv than the ones shared from S10+. I'm comparing the exact same photos on both devices. Why is that?

U don't need WIFI IF IT'S A SMART TV WITH SMART VIEW ON YOUR PHONE U CAN WATCH OFF YOUR REGULAR UNLIMITED DATA I DO IT ALL THE TIME

It's depends on which Tv you are using and how much powerful it is. Powerful means Powerful processor!!

Please help. The problem with mine is, the Phone permission is not showing up. I see Location, Nearby Services, Camera, Files and media. And even when I turn all of those on, when I restart the phone, the Camera and Files and media permissions are turned off again.

We live out, way out, cannot get a line of internet or cable to our home, and yes we have tried Verizon, Hughes net, just doesn't work.
We used smartview just fine, now with this update our movies stutter and freeze! Is there something u know of that will work with no wifi.
