Well oly shoes do put more stress on your knees and quads so it can be advantageous to lift in flatter shoes like Jordan 10 which have no arch support and minimal cushion . Maybe could pull a little bit more on cleans and squat a little more on squats because your hamstrings get a little more involved, (I’ve always squatted better in flatter shoes, low and high bar) and power cleaning in basketball shoes might make it a little more transferable to dunking but it’s not gonna make a massive difference but I could see where it may help, even though Isaiah probably just put on basketball shoes and does really think that much about it 😆
Guys I finally broke through a plateau! I was making no progress for 4 months. Guess what worked for me? Hypertrophy. I had a fear of gaining muscle and becoming too heavy. Not an issue. Do hypertrophy in addition to power/strength work. It will change the game. Oh and also do lots of power cleans
