These were my favorite vids, the Real Fittings back in the beginning of the channel> Just enjoy watching the cause and effect of small tweaks to the clubs, changing out shafts etc. to dial in the player.
Ian has so much knowledge and its amazing to work with him and to pick his brain! It was an awesome opportunity to work with and to be fit by him. I would highly recommend anyone get fit by him for nothing more than the amount of knowledge about clubs and how they can be fit for your game! Great work TXG, and hope to be back this summer for a gapping session of my own!
This was beyond awesome. It is brilliant to see how consistent your message and information is, when compared to your vids with Matty. I appreciate you allowing us in to witness your process at this level.
I know you've done a few fittings on the channel, but it was a fun change to see the concepts you've covered translate to a fitting and not be specifically for the camera. Thank you and Noah for sharing.
Do you guys have more videos like this one? The high level dialog between Ian and a very good player was so interesting. Would love to see more of this!
What a amazing swing this young man has!!! Love watching Ian dial it in step by step!! I’ve got to find a way to get to Toronto and give him a real challenge. If he can dial in my issues he is a “Master” Master fitter!!!
Working through the back catalog. Great content. Would love to see any 2021 updates on some of the 2018/2019 fittings whenever those customers are able to get back in the bay with you.
Loving this type of video where the viewer is just a fly on the wall watching the master work! Doesn’t hurt that the kid has a gorgeous swing! My question for Ian: how did you determine 1° flat was the correct lie? Do you basically just look at the horizontal spin loft? Or are there other tells you look for in the swing? Thanks for another great video!
This was actually Noah's second time in the shop, so we were building on the previous fitting where we determined that the irons were in fact a bit too flat in their previous configuration (2.5º flat)
Great video. His clubs are so similar to mine it was really interesting to see what a much better player than I am gets from distance. Oddly I hit the 50, 54 & 58 slightly longer but really lose a lot of distance (roughly a club loss in PW-7i) compared to Noah thereafter. Clearly I need to work at mirroring the wedge swing with my other clubs
Eat’em up Kats. Hate to say I didn’t know Sam Houston had a golf team while I went there. There are a number of great courses close by to practice one too.
I'm not sure if you guys are intentionally finding and showing lefties, but whether its happenstance or intentional I love it as a lefty myself seeing more on display publicly. Great video and fitting.
Welcome back Guys. So this young man, hits his pitching wedge further than I can hit my 7 Iron, consistently hits a line Ball, seems to be a really nice Guy and has a Beautiful Girlfriend, who sits there patiently watching him hit golf Balls! Man I hate the young, lol! Can we please have more fat, ugly, old grumpy buggers that spray it everywhere. At least I can relate to them.
Really enjoyed this video, learned a good bit about wedge gapping. Are you guys able to change shafts in the wedges during a fitting if a consumer was fit into a certain shaft for irons and wants to stay in that shaft for wedges?
What you eating Ian? :) Hehe -- on the wedges - can u manipulate and add degrees if needed ? to get your proper distance? becoz i did that on my old irons. Love the vid!! keep it coming -Happy New Year guys!! - Bubba
Really liked this video. Unfortunately, can't make it up to you guys right now, but heading to Palm Desert to Marriott in May for a late birthday fitting with my brother from High School. Full bag fitting to get gaps correct, etc. Would love to have input like this in order to get my bag right for consistent play knowing what club will go what distance. Maybe TXG in 2020? Thanks again fellas for a great channel with excellent information. Any suggestions what to ask for while I am there?
Ask as many questions as you can Richard! Have a short list of clubs you want to try, but be open to the fitter's suggestions, and beware of trying to hit too many different models to avoid getting fatigued and skewing your results.
TXG Tour Experience Golf This is why I watch and share your channel/videos with my golfing friends. Yes, even the guys I want to beat. You’re that good! Cheers!
He is certainly straight. But to understand how much power>accuracy in the modern game check his world amateur ranking. His indifferent results so far could also be lackluster putting but 150 carry with 9 doesn't get it done in the show....not anymore.
When you’re doing a gapping session do you trying to gap it based off total distance or carry distance? Obviously 6 iron will run out more than pw so do you try and get even gaps on total distance then make sure players understand what the carry distance is as well?
Ian Fraser so the goal is to have equal gaps say 12-13 yards between irons on carry distance? Total distance isn’t as important? I’m trying to go get a fitting and never have been before but there aren’t many great options where I live so just trying to get prepped with as much info as I can before I go.
Kourtney total distance is only really important with the driver when you're maximizing distance with accuracy. For most people 10-12 yards between clubs is ideal, that then becomes 15 to 20 yards between woods. The major variable is the speed of the player.
Think we're gonna need an Ultimate Lefties Death Match FSX Skills Challenge between Noah and Matty. There can be only one Lefty Iron Byron on this here channel lol.

Mitch Connors thanks pal, appreciate the kind words! Look forward to seeing you in the summer.
This might be my favorite video. It is a perfect illustration of how a fitting session should be and why it is worth investing in one.

Great video TXG. If you mix more of these in with the reviews with Matt I think that's the best of both worlds.
i love these videos! really shows Ian's knowledge and ability to help players of all levels!
That was really interesting. Seeing how much difference a ball can make for a good player is fascinating.
Loved watching you work Ian. Loved this format. Very informative.
Just had my own gapping done two weeks ago...highly recommend everyone to do this. Specially if you get new irons.
Great content once again. I’d love to see more of your work with players with this level of consistency.
Fascinating. Could watch these better players fittings all the time
Jim Devine we’ll try to do more Jim!!
Wow! Amazing Video! Simple but very enjoyable. Hoping to see more like that in the future.
I absolutely LOVE watching the process!! I learn so much with each video! Keep it up gentlemen!!!

Noah is like a robot with feel. Amazing work guys. Best of luck in college! Awesome gapping vid Ian⛳
What a cool video Ian, just loved watching you do your craft
Fantastic insight, What a lovely golf swing .

Love it! I thought Matt is the swing machine until today. lol
didn't expect to see a bearkat on TXG. Cool video

Cracking video. Wish I had a wedge game like that 🤷♂️ ...and 9i, 8i, 7i... 😂
More of this please!
Nicely done Ian, thanks
This was GREAT!! loved it
Ryan Cadwallader glad you enjoyed it Ryan!!

Hey guys! From Saskatchewan. Love your vids. I started binge watching all of them the start 👍🏻
🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦👍
I learned so much from this video. I have like almost identical speed to him. I need a good gapping like this. My PW goes as far as my Gap Wedge
Game time reset ... interesting stuff 👍🏻
That was a great video guys
Absolutely love this
What a vid. What a swing.
This is good stuff. You guys should be on netflix👍👍
You had me at Lefty! Well done! Did Noah do anything on the Quintic with his putter that would be great to see as well. Thanks Noah and Ian.
Couldn't stay to film the putter portion of the fitting unfortunately, but we'll definitely have putter fittings as part of this series in the future.
TXG Tour Experience Golf You should know by now we want TXG to adopt “The Truman Show” style. 😂
Really really enjoyable video! I want to have a gapping with you after this! Creds to Noah for stripeballs!
Love it. Very interesting. Great stuff.

They’re in Canada. More lefties than anywhere else in the world. Hockey rules the day. And makes for lots of lefties.
@@sulliv21 Very true. I played hockey myself and was a lefty despite being right handed with writing. And that made me a lefty when it comes to golf.
Gotta bring these real life fittings back. Get Noah in the studio again!
very informative -loved the gapping of the irons and how to achieve that--how can you not pay attention to your information-83 days to spring

Ditto that with best wishes. Note that “mature” females with swing speeds
@@sharonharrington747 I feel a sub group within the TXG community may be needed. To spread love amongst the mature males & females 👴👵🏌️♂️⛳😊

@@ianfraser3194 That's yummy!! :)
Hello Ian, what is the optimum dynamic lie for driver?
Ian do you have the latest trackman distance charts?
these are the best
Good luck to Noah for the 2019 season. Ian great work as always. Should we all strive to have a 12 yard gap with our irons? thanks
Depends how far you hit the ball, but somewhere between 10-14 yards
I am very much looking forward to seeing Matty back ripping drivers on pebble
Took him 23:30 minutes to miss a green. Such a darts player.
Saw Noah uses a sm7 pw.. what’s your guys thoughts on a set pw vs that of a “speciality” wedge like sm7 with same loft

ian! im a 12 handicap but planning on lowering to 3-5 this year. do you recommend going to canada and getting fitted before or after?
mr. rbt before, the right equipment will be integral to your improvement.

So cool to watch the fitting!
Under what circumstances would you have suggested that he keep the 60* over the 58*?
Isao if Noah insisted he needed to utilize the extra loft around the greens.
Re the pre-video ad: Why is it as soon as Ron Howard puts on a hat, he looks like he's still on "Happy Days"?
Better swing than Blois :P
Very interesting, my fitter is going to hate me......
