What I enjoy about these types of videos with Scottie is even as world #1 he still asks questions. Always willing to learn from his peers. Very humble guy and tough not to root for him.
Always seeking inspiration and emulate like any true scholar. Rory takes to much pride in asking and being curious. I think that is what separates the two and why Scottie is the best golfer in the past 20 years bar Tiger.

Whoa! Rory at 7:25 talking about the draw feel is exactly what I was discovering yesterday at the chipping green. i kept ending up with ball/grass mark out on the toe of the wedges. And after about 20 shots I decided to try the draw feeling and Bingo! So then I worked on that for a while.
A week ago at golf league, I shot a 46. Not great. This week after watching this video I shot 38. The only difference in my game was wedge shots. I had 12 puts! Not because my putter was hot, but my one puts were all inside 4 feet. CONFIDENCE!!!! Most important ingredient in chipping! Thanks RM and SS,,,,

I usually don't ask either...just been a watcher of good players. Played with tournament and scratch golfers since I was 14. Never had a lesson and shoot in the 70s regularly. If I had time to practice I'm sure I can get it lower. I like the feeling of shallow on chips. Always tried to not take a huge divot if any. It definitely works with control when you hit your spots

Yep. Rory just put one in the bag too now that his TM deal allows for it. Never used an TM MG wedge but nothing compares to a Vokey imo.

I think that's mostly the case. They have a big media event where they film most of their content for the year. That's also the same time that they have their other content creators like Grant Horvat, Foreplay, etc. come out.
You can tell that's the case because Tiger is still in his Nike gear in his videos.
do pros keep extra wedges same sort of set up but different bounce and pick which ones they want to use on certain courses or do they stick to what they know and use no matter the course conditions
They just go to the tour truck at the start of every event week and tell them what wedges they want to try out for those conditions.

In what world is that the case? Xander, Hovland, Morikawa and Bryson are all much better players right now than Rory. He tied 12th with Dean Burmester at the PGA and tied 22nd at the Masters with Harris English ffs.....
Scotty doesn't even play TaylorMade wedges. Look at his 2024 Masters bag all vokey. Edit: just saying probably not the best candidate for this video
