This video was done by golf pass…views are irrelevant and would not benefit Xander or his dad at all. In addition he is and has been one of the top players on tour for years.
@@ronnie5310I know, Xander is my favorite player I’ve been rooting for him for years but you can see he’s slimmer, using the epic callaway bag, and is still wearing adidas so you can tell this was filmed years ago I don’t think it was a coincidence that they just happened to post this right after his first major win
The stars are usually tight lipped about their swing mechanics until they are no longer stars. It was very generous of Xander to share this video. I am now a big Xander fan!
He’s the reason I added pauses and love pausing at the range. Being able to hit from multiple points of sequence in many succession is a huge confidence booster
Saw this dude effortlessly hit a ball 180 yards out the rough onto the green w/ a PW in person last week. Got my hat signed later that day. Crazy talent and world class personality
I’ve been a Zander fan for a couple of years now. I am evolving my swing and pace to emulate in my mind Zander’s swing and tempo. I am just now moving my trail foot perpendicular to my target line so I’m so glad to hear that Zander promotes that and why it helps to load the right side. Thank you Zander👍
@@BasedHadrian No way, volunteered at 2023 us open, stood next to him. He was shorter than I am (5'9" on a good day). Actually surprised how short a lot of pros actually are.
Reminds me of Mac O'Grady. All of the speed is generated between aout 7 o'clock and 5 o'clock. It looks so different from my swing where I throw my angles away too early. Amazing!
You and your Dad are an awesome team! Chris fits in seamlessly. Congrats on your recent win. My dad is also from Germany. I’ve been cheering for you from day 1. I thought you were short (same height as me) but now I realize you Dad is a friggin’ giant!
8:34 - Who knew Xander was so funny. "I'll mix one in later." Excellent video. Really appreciate Xander sharing thoughts and his fathers input too. Glove box and marks on the alignment stick is really smart and simple way to check everything. Super special video!
Wow. Shows you what little chance everyone has against these guys. A talented athlete with a father this committed but also so knowledgable and clever about the sport. Hard combo to come up against.
speaking of "grunting" or exhaling when hitting: Rory Mcilroy makes a distinct noise on the way down just before impact. I hear it all the time from him. Can anyone elaborate on this idea? cheers
I love this content , but it's 5 years old probably, his game has changed and improved 100% since this was filmed, The golf anyilist Chamblee, wrong spelling but W,E , he broke Xanders swing and game down perfectly I believe right after the masters or at the US open, he opened my eyes to how great Xander is and has become from latter years. Absolutely Goat, on top of every stat board , but you know, who cares about stats, I see this young man as a great hearted person, never met him, but I'm a good judge of how a person acts, and handles himself, and that's what counts to me, some of the fan favorites because of major wins are complete ego maniacs, so not my favorite, Xanders the complete package. At the very top ,a favorite for myself no doubt, I'd love for him to stay at the top of his game for many years to come, well deserved as we can all see.
Cracking the whip, but notice it’s out of the top almost not down through the ball. Creating the feeling of speed sooner so you can actually get the speed generated by the time you reach the ball. Much different than old teaching of waiting to crack through the ball.
Here is my problem; the world deserved this video Xander but you only did it cause he won the PGA Championship. You should have done this a long time ago. Xander has always been relevant.
Xander and his Dad are excellent. Everything a father wants to be for sure.
they literally saved this video for years waiting for him to win a major to post it to get the most views possible... that's dedication
What makes you say that ?

@@Sean-Loves-JesusI read your comment as if you were speaking about Xander and his dad. My bad. I get the context of your comment now.
If you were a golf pass member you’d know this video has been out
Xander surely has to be the coolest down to earth guy on tour. Always want him to win
That "ok, take it easy" that was felt! lmao
He loves his dad so much. Very unique relationship.
Dude 🤣
What did his dad say right before Xander said ok take it easy?
@@Dreama40 "computer games...fortnite"
Computer games fortnite😂😂😂😂 my dad actually fell over😂😂
I’m saving this video, too many 💎

....and now the 2024 Open champ...congrats you two !
Beautiful, elegant yet powerful and consistent swing. What a brilliant athlete and seems like a good guy.

A good friend of mine knew these two when Xander was a young boy. Ever since, I've been a fan of Xander.
So much to take away from this, great find and thanks for sharing Xander! Best of luck to you next year!
Could genuinely watch Tiger, Schauffele, Fleetwood, Homa and McIlroy swing all day!

This was a fantastic episode. Keep up the good work
excellent tips from Xander and his dad.....so much value here. .... thanks
2 X Time Major Winner 🏆 🏆 It was only a matter of time for the kid. His father is a very smart man.
180+ ball speed, at his size, is a amazing.
What’s crazy is I thought he was a small guy but he’s actually pretty normal height to the rest of us
@@Sports4me7 No disrespect to him or anyone under 5'8 😅
@@rogeliomendez9135supposedly he is 5’10” idk if it’s his short legs and long torso or what but seems shorter but he’s a beast who cares

Rory is smaller and hovers in the low 190’s. Both are impressive. Xander’s game is more well rounded now than Rory’s.
Best of luck to you xander! That video was amazing.

Whenever I’ve tried the pause drill in the past i shank it so was nice to see a tour pro do the same 😂
but did you close your eyes?
Epic performance on Sunday at the Open championship congratulations to both son and father
Awesome video, big win for Team Ogre at the PGA last week!
“You see Hideki with his friggin tree trunks of legs”…😂😂😂😂
Xander is a connoisseur - he also likes Kurt "Quadzilla" Kitayama :D
Notice how much more Schauffle built up his legs into tree trunks since this video.
I wish Chris como continued the swing expedition series years ago but oh well, it’s still awesome
Congrats on The Open !!
I was really happy to see his father there when Chris was learning how your swing evolved into what it is today

Enjoyed watching all of that. Will be trying the glove box thing next time i keep hooking it left, which can be a lot sometimes haha
Wowza! Golden!!! Believe HE is on ‘the’ verge of GOLDEN moment in Paris……. 👏👏👍👍⛳️

Xanders dad is a low key genius and for all you young kids that is the proper way to use low key
Love Xander's close-eye drill! Get more Majors please!!
Love the work you and Xander are doing!!
Wonder what would happen if Mike let go of the wheel and let someone help JT!
speaking of "grunting" or exhaling when hitting: Rory Mcilroy makes a distinct noise on the way down just before impact. I hear it all the time from him. Can anyone elaborate on this idea? cheers
Those set up tools are brilliant.
Excellent 👌 what a player and father team 👍
Great instruction and insights of what works and what does not.👍
Stefan’s logic when it comes to repeatability 🙌

The is “freezer” drill is really hard but very effective. Also the “Faldo Drill” is another good one
The grunt thing would actually work especially for impact timing but definitely would sound pretty odd on a golf course during a major tournament.
Rory does it with his driver!
Rory does it with his driver!
Xander is the real pause king
Xander struggling to square the face makes me feel so much better lol. I always second guess myself at address
And now a major champion
X 2
That was so awesome! Thank you!
Xander, now Open Champion, he was seriously impressive all week
congrats
Love this :)
Drills. How. What. Revolutionary, I’m sure.
PGA champ !!!!!! Yah baby !!! Go Xander
Doing it all with your dad would be the coolest thing ever
why is he wearing ADIDAS instead DESCENTE?? Is it filmed long ago?
It was filmed yesterday at 10 AM 😂
2019 I think..
6:36 the bed music sounds like someone's iPhone is ringing 🤣
This is awsome
This turned me into a Xander fan
What’s funny now is the top of his swing has improved working with Chris and he’s had less big misses under pressure.
Nice video but chill on the transitions
He will win at least 5 to 8 majors in the future 😊
Xander has those sharp looking rusty '19 Apex Pro irons there!
130 mph clubhead speed is quite good. He must be strong to get that.
Stefan is typical methodical 🇩🇪, sauerkraut, pork and beer👍🏼
lol. Backswing is definitely relevant
What do you think Como worked on with Xander….lol😂
I see Xander fussing with his takeaway on every swing so yeah, that comment doesn't make sense.
Who else is here today? :)😄
That’s crazy he said he wanted to be winning major’s in the next 5-10 years and 5 years later he did just that
the fortnite part 🤣🤣🤣
19:50 had me rolling on the floor
Yeah me too😂😂😂😂
Fred Couples knows exactly what he is doing. He just doesn't communicate it very well
o wow Xander

@4:30
Hogan was saying this 80 years ago, the legs and hips lead the swing, then everything else FOLLOWS.
That ball sounds so good coming off that face.
All the best to your first major, go for USA and Taiwan.
An Olympian father certainly helps!!!
Ben Kruper been quite since this came out😂
Cracking the whip, but notice it’s out of the top almost not down through the ball.

I always notice Xander's thumb waggle 👀
He says he is 25 years old. Now he is 30. So this is very old

❤
Good video. Intro is real bad.
This ad is a jet nozzle if you know what I mean.
The backswing is utterly irrelevant. This is gold.
If tiger would go back to Chris como …he would be sooo much better off.
looks like Joe Mayo
Super annoying music if you want to call it that I just couldn't hang with the video anymore
Nah it is great music
Stephen prolly his step father as Xander doesn’t look like him facial and physical wise.
Stefan is his actual father. His mother is from Taiwan.
Brilliant!👍
잰더형 왤케 볼수록 한국인같냐
Backswing is 1000% relevant. This is horrible advice.
