With world human population growing by 80 MILLION per year we need thousands more machines working like this 24/7 to make room & food.
Probably clearing this land for something stupid like growing food. Poor tree huggers would just love to walk around and commune with nature in all this beautiful scrub brush.

You should see what the Obama administration did to the beautiful mountains of Tioga and Bradford counties in upstate Pennsylvania to put up wind farms. Our beautiful mountains are gone the trees are replaced with wind turbines. It's an awful sight to see turbines where big hardwood once was. This big dozer is junk as compared to a Euclid as was used in Vietnam and for the clearing for huge lakes.

On the first machine the dozer the blade attachment is a RAKE . this is used to clean, stip , brush and debris . This is especially used in a Forest that has or is experienced forest fires .

You can see the top soil in some of these shots is really very thin and wont sustain growing crops for too many growing cycles. All those trees just become disposable chopsticks and cheap furnature that gets buried in a landfill after a couple years of use.

The only thing I wonder about is there not some industry that would buy the trees to turn into a product of some kind like plywood,paper, charcoal, etc, then grind up the brush for mulch , makes really fertile soil

@OttovonEarth biochar is using charcoal as a soil amendment, also known as Agri-char, the charcoal acts aa sponge and grabs nutrients that leach out of the soil, as well as holding water, making them bioavailable to plants and soil biology, it also forms nucleation points for said soil biology permanently improving fertility.
Turning that waste wood into charcoal can be done just by digging a pit or short trench preferable with tapered sides that will funnel the burning wood into a smaller area driving off the volitile organic compound and concentrating heat. You slowly add the material to be burned, as the previous layer is just starting to turn into ash, consuming the Oxygen above the pile and preserving the coals, then when your pit is full, or you are out of feedstock, you quench it with water. Then ideally you mix the charcoal with manure or compost to "charge" the charcoal and apply to the fields. This forms what they call Terra preta in South America
they usually chip everything and sell it to powerplants to burn or they just pile up the foliage and burn it
Were growing trees faster than we can use them. Timber industry is over saturated with supply. Too many trees and not enough demand. We are planting more trees every year plus the government pays landowners to convert some land to trees. One ton of pulp wood worth about $10. Not very exciting for a landowner.
