    After the loss of my husband I was able to set boundaries pretty early on. It was so necessary for me because I felt I needed this just to get through. I was lucky most people understood and respected that. What I found hard was dealing with the guilt that I felt. Sometimes it made me feel selfish and that I was a bad person but it was absolutely necessary.

    I never thought about this I haven't really set boundaries about my grief and my journey I love talking about my son to people but I've noticed that people set boundaries with me They don't want to talk about him I wish they did...

      Oh my gosh this is so true... People being uncomfortable with us talking about our kids could be an entire other video!

      @@brookecarlock I hope you make the video💖 My oldest daughter is one that has set boundaries with me as far as talking about her brother She was the last one to see him so her pain is very deep and I understand that,... but there's times I want to ask her what went on did he say anything You know those types of things but I need to honor her request and know that she's working through it too in other words I need to put my questions aside for right now...
