Now I know why this stretch was so painful. I thought I just had super tight horrific hamstrings. I've been doing it wrong all my life! Thank you Dr. Spina!
This is good information on where you should and should not feel a hamstring stretch. But, I think the best stretches for the hams are romanian deadlifts or stiff-legged deadlifts, combined with active leg raises.
ive always tried telling people that bending your knee was better, they'll be like "you're cheating!" umm cheating at what? im not in a competition i just wanna stretch my hams
Wow, I though my hamstrings are completely useless before this! Still feel it also in my calves and behind the knees but also on the hamstringss. And I've tried so many things
question is if it is so painfull, and the pain is caused with nerve, is there something we can do about it? are we able to improve range of motion for that nerve? or it is impossible and those people will never be able to reach high results in stretching for the legs?
Thank you 🙏😃 I have a question. When we stretch hamstring and feel pain on the back of knee is it definitely nerves overstretch? Could it be we stretch tendon instead of the hamstring?
I feel tingling in my foot whenever do any stretch that's meant for my hamstring. don't know why, but imagine l'm making whatever sciatic issues I have even worse cause I'm pressing on the nerve somewhere instead of stretching the muscle. What can do about this?

can this be done with my feet on the wall and my back on the ground?
For how many time (seconds, minutes) do u strech? I mean, for how long u keep it going? Is it a static strech?
