The pontoon boat with the blue Bimini has no clue where the motor is. Makes you just want to slap him. ha ha. Keep up the good show.
Yes take that Bimini top down and definitely do not put trailer in water to deep. Just wet your bunks and pull out a little further than normal to help fight wind and current.

I see a lot of trash trailers for some very expensive pontoon boats in your videos. I can haul out my 24 foot pontoon with no problem mainly because I have my inside guides set perfectly. I am able set centered on the bunks on the first try every time because the boat has no other place to go, I have no drift port or starboard. That is as long as I am not in TOO DEEP!!!

💯, I don't understand the opposite take. I watch a lot of similar content. Its weird to me, in between commentary, awkward silence....? Low instrumental music seems to be the standard for most popular channels. Then again I listen to music at work so I dont have a lot of time in my day without it.
I provided a chit show last week while trying to load my bass boat. It was the first time in 15-20 years and it took several oops before someone said to pull the truck up the ramp further. Once that was done loading went smooth. Just felt stupid for not stopping and analyzing the situation sooner.
I would say Alfred might have been the first ramp channel and probably first for most to hear the term "whiskey throttle" but I've heard it used on the water before on RUclips. Alfred is super supportive to the boating RUclips community including Dan. Nothing can replace the chit show that's a totally different client 😂
After watching for a minute (1:10), I feel it would be a good idea for new boaters or those looking to get a boat, to watch how others piloting similar boats that they have or may buy and learn from their mistakes and success? ;-) The problem is, those three complaints are from the same person. ;-D Maybe his wheel isn't aligned?

The dufus with the pontoon never did get on the trailer in the vid. I'm wondering what happened first, he got it on the trailer or he ran out of gas. This is an example of why some people should not operate boat's.
Must of these folks back the trailer in too far in then drive the boat on. Only the bow is touching and ass end swinging all around. Back the trailer up close to the dock and the fenders are almost under water, get off the boat and guide it on by hand. Yeah, you'll have to winch the last few feet, but boat will be centered and far less drama. Funny how everyone is 6 feet away from the dock trying to get their boat centered.
@TheBigDanShow my boat is actually really easy to trailer. The trailer has ultimate bunk boards, and I have the drotto quick latch. The boat is a Bass Tracker 190, but still to be able to slide on the bunks and have an auto bow hook up makes loading alone quick and easy. Plus, I get a lot of spectators when I load. Safe boating and good fishing. Joe
Pontoon...not once if you are an inexperienced boater...and all the rest of us will hate you as well. They aren't easy to launch and trailer at a lot of ramps to begin with because they are so heavy and you have such a relatively small area on the boat to get on your bunks correctly. If It is windy or choppy at all, it can be a nightmare. Just go rent one that is docked at a marina or rent a slip for your own boat. You will thank me later.
Late to the party. Nothing wrong with changing up the sounds of the video makes it less cookie cutter. I find it interesting showing up a few days late to the video there's so much more interesting comments to read through.
I don't enjoy the music, it's too loud as background noise. It needs to be softer so you can barely hear it. I find what you're playing annoying. I understand why you are using it.
Big Dan, I think the BGM is a bad idea , we come here for the realness of your channel. The BGM is annoying and makes me want to go back to the other real channels. Alfred doesn't use it none of the popular boat ramp channels use it ( unless you want to be like Milo haha ). We want to hear the whiskey throttle and the yelling, even the occasional dock smack. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE REAL AUTHENTIC DAY AT THE BOAT RAMP. Even the voice over sounds fake. Loved your channel until this video. I will keep checking back to see if you change your mind. I've noticed, that, none of the trailers use rollers, just bunks! Is there a reason for this, because rollers are so much easier to load the boat....
My guess and personal reasons for having a bunk trailer is the saltwater. Rollers have so much moving parts to break down from the saltwater.
