usually, i see plenty of detail re vessel operation, maintenance, etc . . .
being Mother's Day, the only well-maintained item of interest . . . @10:00 - a man's gotta eat!
oh, and Happy Mother's Day to Mrs. Big Dan!
Well said! Thanks
Another great day at the ramp I see. That jetski was nasty. Bet it is a rocket on the water.
I oh yeah. Probably run 80
Good Saturday morning Big Dan. Chilly up here in Coffeeville
Good morning
These people with these trailers kill me. Lets simplify it for the beginners, with a little trick, Big Dan. Instead of trying to back down with your hand on the top of the steering wheel, and getting confused. Steer with your hand on the bottom of the wheel and whichever way you need the trailer to go, turn your wheel that way. Love the content brother.
Nice tip and thanks brother
I don't get why people don't just put their trailers in closer to the dock so you can practically walk your boat onto the trailer. That's what my friend & I do & makes life easier when dealing with wind or currants.
Eat currants get pushed by currents... That darn
Google correct AI
Beats me friend
9:58 Damn Momma bear!
😎🤭
5:30
Thats a lot of water coming out of the bilge on that blue boat 😮
I dont know what the real time of it is, but within the video it goes for more than a minute... thats wild!
I thought so to! For a long time
Was longer than that in real time
Really love the drone perspectives. It sets your channel apart
I appreciate that!
Big Dan, great Snoopy footage of lane 4. Snoopy was all up in his grill.
💪💪💪
Holy cow. Bam, bam, bam.
lol 😂
Lmao, about the fenders giving drag. I don't even use them, have some, but they get left out more then not.
Mine stay in the hatch in the deck. Don’t come out until we’re gonna eat on the water or if I’m pulling up on somebody.
The seadoo owners at 10:00 and 10:37 are super clean with getting on the trailer. perfect depth, perfect speed.
Nevermind, the useless revving without a hose on it at 12:13 has lead me to believe otherwise.
@@badm0t0rf1ng3rthat’s me on the seadoo and I rev it like that to clear out the water box of salt water it’s closed loop cooling running it without a hose isn’t going to hurt anything
@matthewkinsey6587 you don't need to rev it to the Red line. Turning it on at the ramp is fine, but you really should be connecting it to the flush port and using salt away. And while I'm not a "the carbon seal sucks" guy, running it out of water will absolutely reduce the lifespan of the carbon seal.
Sounds great though; lemme guess, Riva free flow exhaust and rear exit exhaust?
@@badm0t0rf1ng3r I know I shouldn’t redline but it sounds so good haha I do all my maintenance I check my carbon seal all the time
@matthewkinsey6587 yeah dude it sounds great. Looks like you got the Apex; absolutely killer ski. Just don't red line it out of water lol
I was thinking the same thing, everyone off the boat.
Yep
most are not good at operating but they are great at helping big dan on payday.
Got that right 💰
The captain with the triple 300’s needs his truck and trailer partner to know how much of the trailer should be submerged. That was ridiculous. He he was taking that much time at Shoreline Park he would catch grief from a few people waiting in line.
No doubt. I was surprised they weren’t of much help.
Hi Dan, Enjoyed your channel for a few years. What boat ramp is this? I am sure you have mentioned it previously but can’t recall?
Thanks and keep up the good work.
Thank You. It’s “The Launch @ ICW” in Orange Beach Alabama a
Plenty work hours for 'The Irritator' !
Hello all,dan i love this show no idea why it came up on my recomended to watch, but i like it and hello from scotland. :)
Welcome aboard mate!
@@TheBigDanShow thank you for the warm welcome to your channel :)
What’s the depth of the water on those ramps from top to bottom? Everyone who slips seem to fall into oblivion for a minute.😊
Depends on the part of the ramp. Where your motor is, 6-8ft
I wonder if that guy with the RXPX 300 Apex went to JP Racing
He’s on here. Maybe he’ll respond
That fountain looks like it would be a comfy ride with that huge center mounted captains chair. Now he just needs to master getting it on the trailer or dry dock it to fully enjoy such a lovely machine.
Yeah that thing was pretty cool
You need to turn up the audio, Can hardly hear you
I don’t know what’s going on. I think it’s RUclips
Have you had a chance to do a video on your boat or did you sale it? Either way I do enjoy watching your videos.
I will probably do a video this coming week on it. I’ve been out of town.
@TheBigDanShow were just starting our research because we want to make sure we pick the correct boat for what we're wanting to do, we have had 3 boats a long time ago and the biggest one was 20ft fish and ski. So it's not a big hurry and I have the impression that you take good care of yours.
Looks like they need to put that trailer in a little bit deeper
Yuppp
Additional terminology: “ in too deep’ AND “ not enough”!!!???!!!
Lol
around 10;32 it got normal again. Thanks!
Ain’t sure what’s going on.
No worries! Just more fun with clear commentary!!!
always get everybody off the boat before trailer.
This 👌
I don’t understand the goober head that left his family on the pontoon. All the extra weight doesn’t help !! Love your channel !!❤
My thoughts exactly. Thanks
somethin up with your audio today!!! very muffled and low
Sorry about that
Looks like they put it in too deep now
Oh yeah
At 2:20 what happened to that dock on the right it looks burnt
Good question
I just noticed -- no more Like count?
Should be. Idk… RUclips has been acting weird lately.
Wow that last boat.. that was a family of stupid people on that pontoon they hit the dock three times and not once did they try to push off or try a stop it. They need to teach these people how to load a boat SMH 🤦🏻♂️
Best thing to do is unload everyone before you get to the trailer.
Absolutely agree.. maybe they should mandate a class for loading and unloading boats I’m really surprised people don’t get injured.. anyway love LOVE THE BIG DAN SHOW it’s very amusing keep up the good work
Gone again at 12:20!!!!
👌
I would think that if I found the perfect depth for a boat trailer, I would have marks taped or oainted on the trailer and or bunks for where the water line should be. Im not a bozt owner but even I can plainly see people on these vids and say "they're too deep, or they arent NEAR deep enough. I realize its a guess and a judgmemt call, but a LOT of these are OBVIOUS! Is it THAT much different looking standing there as opposed from watching from afar?
edgar:IT IS NOT A GUESS. FEW boat owners know the exact depth that the trailer has to be in in order to load their boat. Basically having a boat in the position/water where as you pull forward the bunks/slides actually ‘guide’ the boat onto the trailer AND knowing WHEN to go forward and to ‘power’ onto the trailer!!!
I think that’s a great idea if you use the same ramp all the time. If it’s a different angle or pitch. You could be 2ft off which could be a big deal
