    These people with these trailers kill me. Lets simplify it for the beginners, with a little trick, Big Dan. Instead of trying to back down with your hand on the top of the steering wheel, and getting confused. Steer with your hand on the bottom of the wheel and whichever way you need the trailer to go, turn your wheel that way. Love the content brother.

    I don't get why people don't just put their trailers in closer to the dock so you can practically walk your boat onto the trailer. That's what my friend & I do & makes life easier when dealing with wind or currants.

    • @badm0t0rf1ng3r
      @badm0t0rf1ng3r 16 дней назад +1

      @matthewkinsey6587 you don't need to rev it to the Red line. Turning it on at the ramp is fine, but you really should be connecting it to the flush port and using salt away. And while I'm not a "the carbon seal sucks" guy, running it out of water will absolutely reduce the lifespan of the carbon seal.
      Sounds great though; lemme guess, Riva free flow exhaust and rear exit exhaust?

    The captain with the triple 300’s needs his truck and trailer partner to know how much of the trailer should be submerged. That was ridiculous. He he was taking that much time at Shoreline Park he would catch grief from a few people waiting in line.

      @TheBigDanShow were just starting our research because we want to make sure we pick the correct boat for what we're wanting to do, we have had 3 boats a long time ago and the biggest one was 20ft fish and ski. So it's not a big hurry and I have the impression that you take good care of yours.

    I would think that if I found the perfect depth for a boat trailer, I would have marks taped or oainted on the trailer and or bunks for where the water line should be. Im not a bozt owner but even I can plainly see people on these vids and say "they're too deep, or they arent NEAR deep enough. I realize its a guess and a judgmemt call, but a LOT of these are OBVIOUS! Is it THAT much different looking standing there as opposed from watching from afar?

    • @JCASTELLUCCIOJR
      @JCASTELLUCCIOJR 17 дней назад +1

      edgar:IT IS NOT A GUESS. FEW boat owners know the exact depth that the trailer has to be in in order to load their boat. Basically having a boat in the position/water where as you pull forward the bunks/slides actually ‘guide’ the boat onto the trailer AND knowing WHEN to go forward and to ‘power’ onto the trailer!!!

    • @TheBigDanShow
      @TheBigDanShow  16 дней назад

      I think that’s a great idea if you use the same ramp all the time. If it’s a different angle or pitch. You could be 2ft off which could be a big deal
