What would be comical, is after each trailer launch/recovery, you display scorecards across the bottom of the frame, like they do in the Olympics ..... 10, 9.5, 9.5, 8.5, 9.0, 8.0, etc.

Yep, that's exactly why I waited to buy my boat AFTER I retired. Fish on Mon and Wed. play golf on the weekends and holidays.
Pontoon seems to be the craft of choice among the clueless, or PWC depending on budget.
I'd be awfully embarrassed if I dropped a quarter million on a Contender (for example), and bounced it off of every stationary object at the ramp while attempting to trailer it for the 15th time.
True story. If your in the doublwide of the seas (pontoon) it’s just to be expected 🤣🤣😂

TIP: With boat level on trailer, mark each guide pole at a point even with top of gunwale. Use contrasting colored paint or tape. Then, when loading, and before exiting ramp, you’d have visual confirmation that all is correct.

It really just amazes me how people that own boats cant figure out how to load the boat at the end of the day. Even people that have not been drinking cant do it right !!!!! You have to wonder how they drive on the road !!!!!!!!!

Memorial Day weekend because of how busy it is and craziness is why I don't take my boat out on Memorial Day weekend.
My wife was upset because I fished Saturday morning and worked the ramp in the afternoon. If you would’ve seen the traffic around the islands it was UNREAL! I’m not trying to deal with that liability being on the water with 10,000 drunks.
@@TheBigDanShow I live in SW FL and being a year round boating state its still nuts at the ramps. Just not worth it on Memorial Day weekend, and I am a Veteran. My Wife was glad I decided not to go out with our son because of the insanity.
Definitely was a busy weekend in our area. High winds chased some away Sunday. Saturday the ramp was packed. Got back tired and had a minor forgetful moment. If you run tall guild poles remember to bring in the side fenders so it doesn't squeeze into the pole and throw the bow off middle line. Doh🤦

Does that say Big Dan on that Contender that had the wrap on it? It was like gray black and white? Looked like the letters were green….i want to say something so bad about one of the people in the pontoon that had all those people on it but I was raised better…

Local lake this weekend was really a much smaller crowd than expected, looked more like an average crowd from last couple summers. I think the gas sting and inflation is taking a toll.
I really enjoy your channel. Too much drama on the others. The one guy is speaking Spanish all the time and never shuts up and the other one is too critical and is always getting in arguments.

The White Sea Hunt trying to load on the Silverado trailer kinda reminds me of throwing a ping pong ball to win a goldfish at the Fair.

Dan, I can't believe the number of "#intoodeep", do you think they purposely do this to float on vs. power on? Crazy to watch, just unsure if inexperience, on purpose or ignorance? Just shocked at how many do this! We are on freshwater with much smaller boats, we still get boat ramp excitement but for different reasons. 🤣
