A public launch this busy should have some law enforcement present. At least in the daytime hours. Seen lots of comment about race and such. Going to give another perspective. Lady parked her car and the pontoon boat parked at dock. BOTH WERE DELIBERATE and knew what they were doing. After the couple went to all the trouble to launch their boat. THEN MOVED the pontoon boat. See that same kind of behavior at crowded parking lot. Wait for someone to back out parking space. After sitting for 20 minutes. Leave it to find another space. THEN they back out of space. Totally BS.

10:00 Same crew that on another video intentionally overloaded a pontoon, 14-16 persons if I remember right. The design of the boat dictates the number of passengers but also with A WEIGHT LIMIT FOR PETE'S SAKE.
12:00 there they are again, what a terribly unsafe business operator, at the public access dock, probably no insurance either. Out the company so we can tag them and their ignorant business.

I had a beautiful (I thought) houseboat. We use to park in a quiet cove and turn up the music and just eat and hang out. Never failed that an idiot on a Seadoo would spot us and start racing around and around us just to severely rock our boat. I got so tired of looking for a quiet spot that we finally just sold it. No longer my problem.

I would have fired my very load 308 cal rifle in his direction BUT little does he need to know i'am firing blanks.I do have live rounds but what he don't know won't hurt him But will frighten the day lights out of him.-I have already done this and it works out big time. So Mr Seadoo takes off like a bat out of hell.

I have experienced this very thing at the Hager's Creek public boat ramp on Lake Norman. These people are running a boat tour business from a public facility with no regard for other boat owners. I voiced my concerns to North Carolina Wildlife and this was their reply:
They are not breaking the rules if there is no money being exchanged on the access area. If they were to do that, then that would constitute running a business from the access area and would be breaking the rules. As long as they are parking in the appropriate spaces and using the access to launch and retrieve their boat along with the occupants of the boat, I don’t think they are breaking any rules. Unfortunately it is inconsiderate to block a ramp but as long as there is someone on the boat or minding the boat as opposed to it just being tied and left there, it’s not illegal.
I have sent this to field staff and our local enforcement officer to keep an eye on the situation, they will check it out.
That was last summer. I will be at the ramp soon to check out the current state of affairs! Regardless of the way Wildlife reads this, it is unacceptable behavior and way deep in the gray area of legality.

Paige and Kevin. During the course of your videography, maybe you could note the amount of time that the commercial tour boats are tied to the docks and the amount of time that it takes to load their passengers, and pass that data on to SCDNR and see what they have to say. It would be nice to know if the pontoon boats, used for the tours, are equipped with enough life preservers for the large amounts of passengers they are hauling! Fishermen get checked quite often.....I wonder if these people are checked for safety equipment at all!

After over 40 years of boating it absolutely amazes me some of the Elementary mistakes that people make, so this gentleman spent all of that time launching his boat parking his rig getting his other half and his dog on the boat it would have been absolutely hilarious if his boat wouldn't start unwind everything he did get it back on the trailer and figure out why it won't run. I see this every time I go boating simple process back your boat in the water fire it up and let it idle and don't shut it off until you are ready to start relaxing on some beach.
