You got me with that clickbait bro…that was the Best boat ramp decision ever…smart guys made it happen flawlessly…dudes were poised…you the one stressin 😂😂
They should have had a line on the bow to pull it to port instead of a guy risking his legs pushing the bow off the dock. Other than that the tow truck driver knew what he was doing, kept the angle shallow and controlled the release of boat and trailer.
So, Alfred was panicking and screaming like a little girl for 10 minutes and what? Guys worked it out without a glitch. Obviously, the trailer was in an accident, that's why broken branches on the tower. What a Drama Queen.
Once again his alligator mouth overloading his hickory nut ass to make a mountain out of a mole hill. But interesting even without the drama. Take a breath bro
I agree with you. Screaming like a little girl. OMG OMG OMG "this is the craziest stuff I have ever seen" They are going to sink their boat, OMG OMG OMG. He needs to at least TRY and look at what he is videoing. The trailer was still hooked to the tow truck, while the boat was UNHOOKED from the trailer. As it was backed into the water the boat did what it was designed to do, it FLOATED off the trailer. He had no idea about what they were going to do. Weather they were going to sit with the boat till they got another trailer brought to them, or what. Saying that they were still going to "take the boat out and fish", is just STUPID & seeking attention on Alfred's part. In my opinion. PURE CHIT. But if it gets him "views" so be it.
The branches were jammed under from behind which indicates it’s from being high on the tow truck catching low laying limbs while in transport. Looks like he just had hub failures. One probably let go and the other couldn’t carry the weight. This scenario could have gone way worse during launch. I’d say he reacted fine considering it was live and unplanned. Clearly these guys were foolish. Fix the issue and fish later. Why endanger a public area and potentially tie up a lane with potential for failure. I’d say this was dumb and they were lucky.
Gotta give these guys kudos. Unusual & risky but they managed the risk to achieve the desired result. Like Clint Eastwood said, improvise, adapt, & overcome. 👍
Wow Something crazy about Black Point. Never seen anything like it. Can't believe they pulled it off. Would have liked to have seen what happened to the trailer in the first place
I'm certainly glad I don't get that dramatic over nothing ;) Cause all I see is a trailer with busted axles that needed to be unloaded so the axles could be replaced. Did I miss something that we need to call all our friends and relatives? I muted the volume and then I enjoyed the guys doing a good job getting it in the water ;)
Hey Al, well have spent 30+ years with boats and have not seen that one before, it worked. And good they removed the bits of the tree they hit while driving to the ramp. Cheers from AU 🇦🇺
They're probably going to take the boat out and enjoy the day while the trailer is off to get repaired. Crazy launch, but when you have a plan, you have a plan.
Very smart owner was able to get the boat off the trl. And the trl. To the shop for repairs using the flat bed What is a very good idea those things you can do a lot with the way they can retract and lift
So much hype for nothing! Thankful for volume control! In order to fix the trailer they have to take off the boat! This is the most cost effective way to do that! This was executed flawlessly!
That was well handled by the truck guy and the boat guys. All the doom stuff didn't happen. As far as the broken branches on top go I'm making a wild guess that being on a truck instead of a trailer, the extra height meant there was no avoiding low overhanging tree branches. Despite trying to jazz it up, in the end it was a pretty ordinary even mundane boat launch.
I said that to myself while watching! The guy from the jon boat did a lot of work to get the rig in the water and keep it off the dock! Hope they at least said thank you to him. He was putting himself in harm's way extending his leg and really pushing on that mess!
I think they just needed to get the boat off of the damaged trailer so it can be repaired, nothing more than that. I had almost the same scenario with my boat and trailer. The U-boats came loose and the axle twisted 90 degrees while I pulled it out of the water. Fortunately, about 6 guys came up and helped me get boat back in the water. I parked my boat at a private dock and took damaged trailer to my dad's shop to repair. To this day, I think some kids were having fun at my expense and remove the bolts off of the axle U-boats. It was on a rural public boat launch and not well watched.
What I notice about my Cuban friends throughout my life is just how industrious they are. Nothing fazes them. They get chit done. These fellas obviously did just that too. They needed to get the boat off the trailer to have it repaired, it wasn’t about going fishing. I feel terrible for them. First day out on our brand new 2020 Zodiac Medline 850 custom, and my guy popped a rib. Long story but new boats even custom have glitches that need worked out. Ours was the anchor. Rough day and he was pushing it. I had parked the truck and trailer and when he came back to get me, it was heartbreaking! I say these guys did an amazing job.
When I 1st started seeing this I figured that the trailer had some suspension damage and instead of trying to use a crane or forklift to remove the boat from the trailer they just launched the boat with the trailer, turned it around, towed the damaged trailer away and bring another trailer for the boat so the original trailer can be repaired.
ALFRED, I AM 1/2 ASLEEP, COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I as looks at ! People never INSPECT,OR GREESE TRAILER BEARINGS, this is what happens !, I still can’t believe it 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The whole time you were freaking out, the trailer was never disconnected from the trucks winch cable. The boat was completely disconnected from the trailer once the boat entered the water. The owner saved money by just using a rollback tow truck than using a massive forklift with straps. Another plus side is that he can still access his boat from the marina rather than waiting for his trailer to be fixed. Overall, launching their boat took less time than most of the boat launches you film.
That dude did not want anything to ruin his day. Big thumbs up to him. I total my ride as we were heading to dinner and since everyone was OK. We got into another car and stuck to our plan, dinner.
The tree limbs on the top make this even funnier to me idk why. Like did they drive through a forest and bend the wheels and then call the tow to help them get it out?
Here is my take: That trailer axel is broken. If that happened on the highway it would definitely explain the tow truck and the backwards unloading of the boat. They are trying to replace the trailer and need to free the boat for the new trailer. But yes still interesting to watch. :P I hope they remembered the plug.
Wtf?? Unorthodox yet perfectly executed launch plan. Probably changing out trailers or the busted one going out for repairs while the dude spends the day out on the water.
Saw this yesterday when you videoed it live, I didn't think it was going to work but surprisingly it did...lol Would have loved to seen what happened before they arrived at the boat ramp..
Under the circumstances I think these guys had the right idea. Obviously the trailer got smashed. Personally I would strap the shit out of the trailer to the flat bed. Then back the whole thing in til the boat came free from the trailer. Then take the trailer in for repair and come back to get the boat. I’m sure a lot of people don’t know there’s on site repair and even if they do I’m sure it ain’t cheap. Financially this is probably the cheapest way to handle it. I’ve done some pretty creative and many would find stupid things in my day finding a solution to a problem. Sometimes it’s a matter of whatever works. Quite frankly, I’m impressed with how these guys handled that!
No kidding, that whole section of the marina has a dedicated section of wharf to pickup and drop boats in the water. They do it every day, and here is this dude risking a rather expensive boat to a boneheaded move. He got lucky, I can only imagine the loader driver was sitting over on the other side watching and thinking they could have had the boat off the trailer and either on a storage rack or in the water in the span of this video.
with that concept 27 with the tires on the trailer all wonked out, the tree limbs on the top, backward on the trailer. Oh yah, this will be a chit show. Okay, back to the video. This is going to be painful. That wasn't too bad. I'm thinking his trailer was destroyed so he had the boat hauled to the ramp and unloaded and I'm wondering if there won't be a new trailer backing up soon to pick the boat back up.
Geez, just when you thought that you've seen it all. Blackpoint never disappoints. This is one of my favorite videos now. Right after the one dropping a outboard in the ocean
The trailer looks to be in good condition meaning rusty enough that both axles would break at the same place at the same time so this looks like a car crash on the side of the road. Looks like maybe a truck merged into that side of the trailer breaking the axles. Guy calls a tow truck to haul the busted trailer and boat on the tow truck which so far was a good move. Then I assume they wanted to put the boat in the water so they could put it on a new (different) trailer which could be on it's way to meet at the ramp. But I would have had the tow truck put the boat and trailer on the ground close to the ramp then hook the trailer back up normal and back the boat in the water then drag the busted trailer out. Nice of my man in the John boat to help out so much, I hope the owner of the Concept bought him lunch and beer.
Rusty trailer? It was an aluminum trailer. Looks like someone cut the driver off that was towing the trailer and he climbed a curb shearing the rubber off inside the torsion tubes. As for the tree pieces on the Targa top, could have been the rollback driver or it could have been as a result of the accident.
@@gungadinn The axles, you know the part that the op said would have broken, are STEEL. If you don't know what you're talking about, refrain from correcting other people.

I think they unloaded the boat so they could fix the trailer more easily. Looks like a win to me. Your lust for disaster is a poor look on this one. It’s Just the way I see it.
I’m pretty sure what happened was that axel on the trailer gave way when the boat was on top of it, so their best choice was to drop the boat in the water and pick it back up with a new trailer. It’s not always what it seems at first so people shouldn’t always assume stuff because it could be a totally different thing going on then what you assume
Guy was lucky the boat wasn’t damaged by that broken axle. I had mine break on the way to the ramp and had a flat bed pick it up and take it right to trailer repair. No damage to boat.
