I've been recording an audio only pod using a focusrite scarlett and a shure microphone, would I still use them when recording with Riverside? My laptop camera's resolution is not good, do you have any inexpensive ideas for alternate filming? I'm sure I'll have a few more but could use your insight on these before taking the plunge. The edit separate audio doesn't seem to be live...and when I asked your Chat Help they said it isn't a feature in Riverside but they'll pass my request on to the support team. That's really odd.
How do you know what volume levels to change before normalizing audio? Because If I change a tracks audio to 50% In the first 10 minutes, It may change 30 minutes later no? Because the track Isn’t normalized before exporting?

@@Riversidefm Stream alerts are the possability of displaying web widgets as Overlays. Basically transparent web pages designed to be overlayed on a live stream. They typically include dynamic content such as alerts for a donation or follow or chat messages. There are different companies offering these Web widgets for streamers.
Just to clarify … Is it possible to upload a video to play over (on top of) a video? For example, I have a voice-only video and want to play a calm animation video to cover the first, and then add captions on top? Thanks! 😀
I am having some difficulty with RUclips, I have made sure settings in Riverside show the connection when live streaming, and have verified everything as per your guidance vids but still nothing from Riverside is showing on my channel not sure what I am not doing correctly
Do you have the event in your RUclips studio to "auto start" when receiving a stream? Also, you can try to set it up via RTMP settings in Riverside (RUclips provides the RTMP links and key for any scheduled event).
Got it sorted without all that faff, I just needed to request live stream from RUclips. I've also gone for a simpler encoder with comparable quality, but might try yours again some time, it's a bit too complex for my needs right now
I can't figure out how to add background music. i don't see the option of add music at the bottom. When I highlight text and add music, it just puts it after the text. What am I doing wrong?
The switching format feature when editing doesn't seem to work properly anymore. Even when I click fit, when I switch to 9:16 for TikTok, it doesn't work properly, so much of the screen is cut off. How do I do this properly now?

You can! You'll need a 4K webcam or 4K capture device like Elgato capture devices, Opal C1, etc.

If you login to your LinkedIn account directly, you shouldn't have to create new sessions each time.
