Is there a way to zoom in on a camera track? Looking for a way to do slight zooms (in and out) to emphasize certain points as is common in RUclips editing.
You can can now zoom and crop, just create a new scene and hover your mouse over the video preview to see the zoom tool. More info on smart scenes here! ruclips.net/video/oJCI4_YDYa8/видео.html
I have a laptop 500ssd and RAM 16 but my machine still lags when I try riverside. Then I also experience heavy internet data consumption when I want to use riverside. Any tips on that please?
What is your bandwidth / internet speeds like? There are options like Low Data Mode in the studio and pausing uploads which you can enable in studio settings that may help.
@@Riversidefm When I go to the media icon and upload my media clips, it says upgrade. Since I'm already at Pro, it appeared to me I would have to upgrade to get them. If this is not the case, can you link an SOP on how to use this?
Stephen your videos are AWESOME!! I really appreciate how clear and focused are you are with the content and framing it in a way that causes me to take action! Thank you so much! P.s. Will Riverside get the ability to do dynamic multicam and active speaker mode?
Thanks for such a brilliant video, we are considering moving to Riverside, but I believe the video you can add onscreen to the podcast is just stock videos? We have entire gaming walkthroughs that we showcase alongside our discussions as we regularly talk with the game developers. Is this possible with Riverside?
Is there a way to use a static photo for your guest if they don't want to appear on camera? What I'm doing now, in the edit, I upload a picture of them as an overlay and stretch it over the whole timeline. There's got to be an easier way right?
Safari doesn't allow for connections to hardware audio and video devices we need to record high-quality, locally recorded content. But if you're on a Mac we have a new Mac native application you can use instead! riverside.fm/mac-app
I watched this whole thing to see if, when I say, "the red shirt", I could replace it with "the blue shirt" -- the one feature that sets Descript apart from the throng of tools that do many of the things demonstrated already. Really disappointed to see perhaps the most important feature missing.
Are you looking to change the caption or the actual audio? You can do both now, including generating AI voice clips right in the editor! You can see it in action here: ruclips.net/video/BvzwgsNqDEI/видео.htmlsi=34dExr2WS8hSWGBz
Wow, this is super helpful for someone like me who is just starting out and in the pre-launch phase. Thank you!
Your'e welcome! Glad we could help.

Are these media features only available in the "Business" Version of the software? Not the Pro version?
They're all available in the Pro version as well!

I have the same issue, it asks me to upgrade 😢
Great video and thank you for letting me know about the updates!
Appreciate it!
I'm so lucky, this is exactly what I was looking for I am about to start recording.
Amazing! Glad you found it!

If you do that while you record it's definitely possible! See it in action here: ruclips.net/video/2br1MaOgTeA/видео.htmlsi=JZTNbQrCjIxx-fWq

Your workaround right now is the best way currently, but I'll share that feature request with the team!
1 more question. My friend and I do a podcast together. We pay the yearly fee. Do we have to have separate logon’s or can we use the same logon?
Are you both editing and working on clips? For the most part, one can have the login and the other just needs the guest link to join the recordings.
I have been watching your videos for the last two to years. I have never missed an update yet
Wow, that's awesome! Appreciate that 🙏🏻
Riverside, you were using Bravo instead of the IOS APP?
I use multiple browsers when doing screen recordings!
Are these features all in pro?
They're all in pro and many are available in the free plan as well (like text and image overlays)
I wish they made it easy to add like and subscribe animations to the video. It’s kinda unbelievable to me that they don’t and incredibly frustrating.
We’ll share this feature request with the team!
Why is it that Safari can not be used as a browser?
I’m just never going to use Chrome or Edge. And I’m nowhere near being alone on this position.
