I just did the same job on my focus but the suspension is constantly bottomed out. Same brand name shocks, but on a 2005 zxw. I guess i have to return them or something.
next video - how to repair a sill panel? =) Whas it even sorth fixing that car?) Jokes aside - great video, but isn't it easier to take the shock out complete with the mount? Do these new monro shocks go with rubber bump stops because they can't be seen on video?
Yeah to break them loose you could use a braker bar and hold it with a socket and ratchet or a wrench i just use an impact because it makes the job gi faster
When you replace both of them the rear of the vehicle will look higher and both sides are going to look higher than nomal until you drive it and get the shocks to compress alittle so it comes back to ride height or just jounce the vehicle acouple times
Thank you. I watched others and didn’t know when the wire gets cut. You made it very clear, every step. Thank you

After several attempts, this video will not load. Stops at the five second point. Other you tube videos are playing just fine.

I'm trying to do this on my car, and the top of the shock when lowering my car goes right higher in the trunk area
