Excellent clear and precise demo with good reference to tools and torque settings. A spotless workshop too. I am a lecturer in automotive engineering of 30 years experience and find the entire demonstration well edited and critical points made at suitable stages in the job without excessive time wasted watching bolt and nut undoing. Very well edited
Great Video! I had a question, My 2010 Mercedes CLS 219 had both its rear coil springs replaced recently as they were fractured. Following replacement, the rear ride height seems to be a few centimetres more than it was previously. Is this normal? In time, will the rear ride height go back to how it was on the old springs that were replaced? Many thanks in advance.
After replacing rear shock absorber, rear coils and front struts in a Mazda3 2008 I hear noise only when braking, any idea what’s could be the problem?
Funny how cleaned up the rear suspension gets after removing the wheel. Initial shot shows all rusted, then wheel off it is not rusted at all. Then when installing it the whole lower arm is brand new.
Eu tenho um Ford focus ano 2005 sofri muito para achar o defeito, não dava cambagem, na suspensão trazeira.de tanto fussar descobri que eram as molas vencidas.e os amortecedores.
You tighten the bolts in the lower position, when the car will stand on the wheels permanent tension will be applied to the bushings which will wear them quick

How did you get the inside arm bolt out? Mine is rusted to the strut. Did you cut out the arm first?
Do we need both top and bottom caps for spring for ford focus
Theses videos are perfect

+Bryan Htut We do not currently carry the bushings for the 2001 Ford Focus.

How do you know the exact height to Jack the suspension as if it was sitting on the ground ?
My focus has a roll bar so when you try and move the arm down you can only move it so much its a nightmare to get the spring out.

Does the bottom section of the coil spring use a rubber cushion or isolator or is it just spring metal to control ARM metal
Hi, did you ever find out the answer to this? I'm doing this on my car now and asking myself the same question.
@@kanemorphew5026 Did you figure it out... I might do mine so please pass on any tips...thanks!
These newer cars are a pain. The older vehicles were much easier to swap out the springs.
Do you sell the rubber pieces for the new coils?
ive ben looking everywhere for those. any luck?
The focus cahnged how they do things in 2008. so this should be from 00-07 i do believe..
fab..you.........las
i dont think you need to completely take out the bottom bolt and take out other side.
That adjuster is for toe not Camber

The jack adds tension as he torqued...he did it correctly
Can you please provide me a chassis number, i waana order the same epring coil.
+yany Thank you for watching. We do not currently have this part available for the 2001 Focus. You could try looking on eBay Motors or partsgeek.com.
