katy’s and Martin’s relationship was legit and consensual, though I understand Tommy’s hate for the situation, anyone would see a 17 and 35 year old together and think ‘pervert’, especially if it were your own kid. But it was not all Martin’s fault. Katy loved him, she didn’t want to go to uni even before Martin and Tom could be an angry and violent man who went about the wrong way of trying to convince a lovestuck teen that she should do this, don’t do that. This storyline end has just aired on tv now, I wasn’t old enough to watch it when it was originally. It’s been a journey.

Katy wanted to go to the police it was angela who stopped her it was angela who heard half a conversation and thought martin was having an affair and he was not it was angela and tommy who took her for an abortion when she clearly did not want one angela needs to take a look in the mirror (im watching these episodes on classic corrie now)
