  • This video is a special release from the original Thinking Allowed series that ran on public television from 1986 until 2002. It was recorded in about 1990. It will remain public for only one week.
Qualities of success -- including goal setting, high self-esteem and a passion for life -- can be developed in all individuals. Lee Pulos, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist, describes his work with outstanding achievers in the field of athletics and business, as well as individuals who have successfully oversome cancer. He identifies many characteristics they hold in common.

Reminds me of the Jose Silva positive affirmations and methods. Has there been an episode in the past that covers Silva’s methods? That would be interesting to watch. Thanks!

Lee Pulos closely studied the Brazilian healer/psychic surgeon Dona Cicera (Cicera Maria da Silva) who performed surgery without surgical tools or anesthesia. TV producer Alan Neuman captured her work on film. Pulos claimed that witnesses observed her exhibiting bilocation, that most rare of paranormal feats.

Goals are only as valuable as one consistently holds themselves responsible for consistently fulfilling these goals with excellence. Making goals as if it is a 'wish list' is counterproductive.
