Hey folks, I hope you're all enjoying the series. This time around I've shortened the episodes to 30-45 minutes. Basically I want to spice things up and also increase my channels watch time which is a key statistic. The higher my channels watch time, the quicker this outdoor community will grow. This is a fantastic series mate. The scenery is, in my opinion, breathtaking. To think that you are covering pristine areas untouched by man is extremely cool. You are a lucky man to live where you do. I also enjoy the simple tune and Knorr supper. As a young lad I darn near lived off tuna and ramen noodles. I’m looking forward to the next video.
Just beautiful country. Glad you found your GoPro. Thanks for carrying us along with you. Always a please watching you and Sak track through my homelands.
Pleased you stayed long enough to find the GoPro, good for you. Saku is such a neat dog, he always puts a smile on our faces when we watch. All the best for you both on the next leg of your adventure.

I could watch hours and hours of this wonderful trip, but I understand others may not want that. So different than our terrain. Glad you found Saku's pack and the GoPro! Stay safe and looking forward to your next video! Thank you!
You've gotta do, what you've gotta do to survive, even on RUclips. I think the shorter vids are better and 35-40min is a good length. I'm always breaking up hour+ vids , having to do other things anyway and never watch in one sitting, so compact, chunkier ones I do watch in one go. Awesome as always. Cheers 👍🇦🇺
Justin , your great videos make this time of social distancing and self isolation much easier to take. I enjoy watching all yours and Saku's adventures. Thanks for the help with the cabin fever.
For myself it is the comraderie of man and dog that is great. A dog living as a dog should, and in partnership and not as slave master relationship. All my dogs were raised in such a manner, as partners living and enjoying life together. You can see it in your pal, how he runs and bounds exploring its surroundings.nut always close by his Bud. What an Easter egg that GoPro would have been for a likeminded traveler many years down the road! Glad you found it though. I’ve been in a few spots, like on top of erratics, that I’ve wondered if any other human being has stood on. I like the shorter episode idea, as a creator....but geez I was just getting into it!! Haha looking forward to the next one, Justin!
Newfoundlander living over in Kuwait Justin, really enjoy watching your videos on the weekend and living vicariously through your treks of your videos, they’re awesome. Glad to see you found your GoPro, def worth going back for it. Don’t you worry about the length, I wish they were more of them and longer only cause I don’t like to see them end hahaha. Keep on rocking it out there, tight lines, particularly enjoy the fishing & eating over the campfire and the crackling of the fire; dang I miss that. Sending best wishes to you & ol’ Saku from the sandpits of Kuwait....cheers 🤙
Tip: To mount a heavy pack as supposed to grappling with it and trying to mount it from the side putting undue twisting strain on the harness straps, and trying to find that second elusive strap: Sit the pack on the ground with the harness side facing away from you (outwards). Lean over the pack and grab the pack with each hand on the left and right hand side of the pack in the harness area, with each harness contained within your forearms. Firmly holding each side of the pack, hoist the pack up and over your head and sliding it down your back as you are bent over forwards at about 60 degrees using your back as a platform while sliding the pack down your back -- while pushing your arms all the way into the shoulder straps. Works a treat!
Super happy you found your go Pro Justin and Saku's food. Easy to replace things but harder with memories. Another great video, with amazingly beautiful landscape. Thanks for sharing your awesome talent for camera work, editing and great roll with it attitude! Cheers boys!
I enjoy the shorter videos. And look forward to the next. I am amazed at how there are no other humans around. I have said it before that place is beautiful. I would take advantage of it if I lived there. Beautiful.
A privilge to be along with you, as always. Good save on the GoPro, and maybe a lesson to always back up footage as often as possible, especially with the stuff from Europe on there.

Great video bud. Glad you found your Go-Pro. As a huge fan of you and your pup I wish the videos were longer, I'd still watch them even if they were five minutes. Sittin south of ya waitin on another video.
Love this series...I was flying between Toronto and St. John’s this summer and we flew parallel to the south coast...you could see all the fiords and rivers...kept thinking what a beautiful spot to explore.
Another excellent video. You really capture one of my motivations to go exploring - when was the last time someone walked over the same piece of ground and saw what you are seeing? Or are you the first? I always wonder that, even when I am out around on a short day hike.
Really glad you found your GoPro; losing one would def eat at me too, especially if I knew it was close by somewhere. You had me sitting on pins and needles wondering if you would eventually find it - nice bit of story suspense there, man, lol. Just when I think the NL wilderness scenery in your vids couldn't possibly get any more beautiful, out comes another one to prove me wrong. Thanks again, Justin, for taking us along on these raw and authentic northern wilderness supertripping voyages - the stuff of my dreams, bro.
What a relief to find the Gopro! I know exactly the irritating feeling of losing something on a trip. I once just lost the nose-protector from some glacier glasses. Not expensive or big, but really important to your nose, and not easy to buy a snap-on nose protector on its own, let me tell you. So I walked back over the boulder field, slowly, slowly, knowing the chances of seeing a small, dull thing against dull boulders, in a huge boulder field in the Alps, was extremely small. It only took me a couple hours! I was so amazed and thrilled I found it. The feeling of relief and amazement was almost worth it.
I don't comment much but just wanted to say I've been following you for a while now and I really appreciate your approach to the outdoors. You're a great adventurer. Saku is a fine companion. God bless you and your family.
The 30 to 40 minute videos are great it will get you more people watching, just guessing but not alot of people can sit through a long video , no matter what you do, i will be watching whatever format you deside.

Always encouraging to see sign of partridge, regardless of where it is on the island. Just got myself and English Setter pup from Angel's Cove on the Cape Shore. Hoping the bird partridge population rebounds here on the Avalon. Watching a bird dog work and hunt in the woods always makes the long walks worth while. Have you seen many partridge on your travels around the island? Great footage as always, and thanks for sharing!
