How about giving a fellow Canuck another shout out on your channel? I discovered Justin due to your mentionning him in one of your videos. I am certain others would be as appreciative, as I am, if you steered them this way.
I've watched a few of these types of videos from other RUclipsrs. They get in their van, go to the camping ground, build a tent, cook, then go home. What you do is very real! Thanks.
You know what, you deserve to be up there with the big boys. You are as hard as they come, and not goofy and flamboyant like Joe. I love Joe and respect his upcoming...but you're doing it big like it should be done. ❤ your dog is hard as rocks too, he deserves all the praise you do! from: Tiny, Ontario
I haven’t watched this series yet. I have just pushed play. I found you through your later journeys. You are such a good story teller. You are my pandemic godsend. I really love Saku. What a great trail dog. I have one in training who is pretty special. She had a powerful lesson after tackling a porcupine at age one - after I yelled “no”. She now the most obedient German Shep I have ever had. Safe travels....
Can't help watching this first episode again (third time actually) cuz I always find more things to look at and enjoy. Letting ole Saku rest for a day was a great decision. You're a good man Justin.....and Saku is lucky to be your trail buddy. It's so bloody hot and humid where I am that I love watching "colder" trip vids. Cheers.

Excellent!! What a wonderful pup you've got there, perfect companion for an expedition such as this. Really makes me wish I was 20 years younger and could do these things again. Thank you for recording your journey together, all the best in future endeavors 👍
Absolutely fantastic! Oh, the Long Range Mountains. I spent 5 days backpacking across them many years ago, it was the trip of a life time. Spent a total of about 2 weeks tripping around Nfld, fell in love with the beauty that is unique to this wonderful place. :) Thanks to you and Saku for sharing!
@@JustinBarbournlexplorer We went in at Western Brook Pond and came out at Fairy Gulch beside Gros Mourne mountain. It was a trip to remember, brutal at times but well worth the challenge! We were storm stayed for a night due to Hurricane Bill (think that was the name) which passed through while we were up there but survived! We had to stay at a campsite that we were not booked at because of the storm. We couldn't for the life of us find the tent pad so just found a patch of long grass which was flattened and hunkered down. I think it was a moose bed from the night before and was hoping that he or she wouldn't come back to claim it while we were borrowing the space! lol We did find the tent pad the next morning, it had been under water when we arrived there. lol Looking forward to your next episode!
Very well done, Barbour! Been waiting a long time to see the success that was your trip. My kids will be watching this with me. We often go for hikes to explore the ECT. It's important they learn that being outside is far better than being in. Although I am not a Newfoundlander, I've always been amazed at the beauty that is the landscape. Best part about it, it's all around us. Never need to go far to explore it. Cheers bro. You did great. Shout out to Saku too!
