Great series can’t believe it’s nearly over . I have seen some channels premiering live episodes with live chat and superchats You Justin can watch and chat with people while watching the episode premier live or do a q and a after that would be amazing and you could generate interest and some pennies , def would be good to do a live q and a before or after the last episode but def big it up and I can’t wait💡
The series is well above the standard for TV syndication in Canada! Its a crying shame that it wasnt picked up in Newfoundland. Your proud of your Island and it would thrill audiences. Definitely needs promotion. Great video production!
Justin and Saku, I have really enjoyed your adventures. I especially enjoy watching Sac and you together he gets so excited when you begin to fish he knows what's for supper. I would be proud to meet you I enjoy seeing what you see and listening to your explanations of the days events. I have watched the Labrador series and now I am about to finish this one. Watching you too is like eating a great steak dinner,... I just want it to go on and on and not end. Good luck and safe travels. Jeff in Maine
Not gonna lie, I too will be a bit bummed out after the last episode comes. I absolutely loved every video man. They're inspiring too. I used to be out in nature a lot when I was younger, I lost touch with that side of myself when I moved to the city. These videos fuel that desire to go out again and enjoy it all. Can't thank you enough for that Justin. Keep them coming, and I'll watch 'em. You're a good boy Saku!
Saku looks a bit thin around the waist which, along with seeming tired, he may not be getting enough nourishment so maybe think about getting him to the vet for a blood test and to make sire he doesn’t have any stomach worms which are taking his much needed nourishment away,He does seem frisky still, which is a good sign.
Jer wolf Could be worse, MEC, which has devolved into a yuppy store. Maybe bass pro? But unless he needs the free stuff, it would kinda ruin it if he had a sponsor.
Justin, I have to say, this is the third time I watched this series! I follow a couple other channels...but without showing any negativity, your optimism and enthusiasm is so beautiful, also completely altruistic! Your channel is beyond addicting! Can not wait for you and Saku's next adventure! (Bear as well!) 😉 God bless you, and thank you for sharing the beauty of the great outdoors!!
Beautiful! Great job filming! Looked forward to each video in this series and wasn't disappointed! Thank you for taking me along! Hope Saku has gotten plenty of rest and a clean bill of health, you as well. Hello to your girlfriend! From Albuquerque, New Mexico (USA)
Had to comment on the raft since you were mentioning how good it has worked for you. I have to admit when I saw you were taking an inflatable raft on this journey, which I understand was the only real option, I was certain it would never survive the trip. I cant even believe that thing is still in one piece after all the rough terrain youve been through. I am blown away by the quality of the raft and you have been the best possible advertisement for its durability and practicality. Also wanted to mention that the spot you were camped at while you were talking about the raft is absolutely beautiful - one of the prettiest locations of the whole trip. Thank you for such a phenomenal series and for all the efforts from you and Saku!!!
......getting a fire going da once! Proper ting ! Great series. I have shared this all over the place. This is an international quality production. I feel like thanking you for representing traditional Newfoundland values.
Thanks for another great episode! Two months of wet feet - but you've got Saku looking up at you like he does, so it balances out. I'd like to see your route planning process sometime and your navigation process/techniques in the field. That's half the fun for me. Looking forward to the finale!
Thanks man! 99 percent of the time I navigate by reading the 1 : 50 000 topo map and its features and then following my nose. Every now and again I may use my compass to keep on track if I'm on land. If there's bad weather or fog I may use the compass too. I also have my InReach maps (that orange rig clipped on my chest) and use that once in a while or if I get a little turned around which has happened on a rare occasion but I was never far off the intended route.
Nicely done. Can’t wait to see the ending to this amazing trip. Thanks for the opportunity to go along this trip with you. We get to see and feel some of that great outdoor and the excitement of it all. Thank you
Mixed emotions here, sad that the series is approaching it's conclusion, so delighted for you Justin and Saku to have completed such a epic journey. I know I'm doing after watching the last episode, think I'll go back to part one again! Thanks again for the great series.
Man, that long shot at 39:30 had me thinking how many times you have to go back and get the camera. I hope that everyone watching realises how much effort you put in to get the shots you do for this story.
I've been working from home down here in NS for the past month during the Covid-19 isolation period. Putting these vids on in the background has really helped get me through the days! Keeps the beautiful outdoors feeling close! So thank you.
So so awesome! The excitement on your face for the last leg was evident! So glad that Heather could join you and give you that burst of energy. Beautiful girl and beautiful support! Saku is awesome, what a sport! Best of luck! Thank you for taking us along! I have thoroughly enjoyed this!!!!
Wow that was sure an expedition !..Followed every step with pleasure and excitement of the next part... :didn't smell like a bar of soap : haha .Saku has been a real star to and will need his rest at the end,as i'm sure you will, love his excitement as the fish come in, he knows his share will be there to. Truly some fantastic scenes and beautiful country you have there....Thanks for the trip only sad its nearly over ...All the best to you Saku, your gf and family...
Your music is spot on! The look into your food bag really helps put us into your trip right along side you. I look forward to finishing this epesode after I get out of work. Good job Justin.
My neighbor as a kid was an adventurer like you. Don Starkel paddled from winnipeg to Belem, Brazil..longest canoe trip ever..he also paddled the northwest passage..real friendly and knowledgeable man...a little nutty but not too bad, lol
Appreciated it all, especially the section of Colinet River, Back River up to Back Pond, Bad Pond, Red Island Pond, up through Eastern Waters. Canoed those areas for several years, love Red Island Pond, and The Goose Steadies. Several years ago a buddy and myself canoed the Colinet River to the bridge in Colinet, rough going but a great run. Canoed Peak Pond, Old Sea, and across the Avalon Wilderness Area in the opposite direction, close to twenty years ago, Thanks again for the videos. Looking forward to seeing the Avalon Wilderness on your next episode,
Another Newfoundland, Outdoor, Masterpiece. Just love watching your series Justin, gets more exciting as your journey unfolds. Emotions must be running high , knowing that this epic adventure you have undertaken, will soon be over. Thanks again, for letting us share in your adventure
Really enjoying this and regret that it is almost done. In anticipation of the finale I will be sure to pick up some Newfoundland Screech and raise a glass or two during the final viewing. You have already proven you are a better man than me and I’m sure the Screech will confirm that! Be sure to treat Saku to a steak for all the effort he has made. Stay warm!
Justin again you rocked it! I’m kinda sad there’s only one episode left. I hope you might do a follow up video maybe recapping your trip and possibly give us a clue on what’s next for you and Saku. I have enjoyed this series to the max! Your interesting and funny at times, Thank you!
I'm sure you know by now that I am a great fan of your work. I particularly enjoyed all the footage of Saku in this episode. He looks like a boon traveling companion.
What an absolute pleasure this entire series has been. Much like the rest of your subscribers I’ll be sad to see it come to an end but I look forward to the next adventure.
I know that look at 21:00 onward and upward 🔥That tune, your tune runs through my head constantly, might have to get a tin flute and figure out another 🎷
awesome video Justin, so nice to see your friend and family network helping out, I laughed my ass off at the snaring the 2 wild sausages comment. next time on a small shallow creek or river look for gold. I like your music, cant believe theirs only 1 more video...i hope you continue to maybe do something weekly..thanks brother
All good things come to an end. An epic adventure. The area on the Colonet River you showed is what the old guys call The Ripple I guess because of the small waterfalls. Sad to see the garbage around but I see it all the time and take it out when I can. Disgusting. But if you were to confront these lados, they always give a derogatory remark. Just don't care.
We enjoyed meeting briefly your beautiful, humble partner. Her low profile speaks well for her... and she is a dog-lover. :) Good luck for the last piece of your adventure. No more hairy situations please!
Great video again JB. I really thought this would be the last one but I'm delighted that there's more to come. I'm going in for a heart operation this week so you're doing my walking for me til then. Nice Irish tune on the penny whistle. Well done and stay safe.
Really enjoyed that Justin, as with all the previous episodes. Looking forward to the season finale but also dont want it to end. Thanks for sharing this with us, atb, Matt 👍🏻
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! You have done an excellent job on the filming and editing. Looking forward to the last episode in the series, but not looking forward to the series ending. Made my week again. Thanks.
The “Incredibly Shrinking Justin”! I just want to get you two a steak!! At mark 12:47 a great pic of you two!! Great inspiration for the outdoor season ahead. So glad your “partners in crime”, Heather and Bear, got to support you and Saku. Gotta be missin folks at times. Gonna Rally for the Finally!!! Bring it!
What an adventure! A lot of familiar country to me in this one as well as the finale nex week. It's kind of bittersweet that the series is coming to an end but now I have the book to look forward too as well as my own spring adventures. Cheers till the next one bud.
I like how you have a bit more fun with the editing and shooting in this one- the slo-mo water spray, the underwater shots... all good stuff. And good, fitting music as always.
Justin you’re getting better on the flute- I enjoy your videos- Great job - I hate to think of the end of this journey- but I enjoy know you there will be more adventures in the future- Here’s hoping you get a million subscribers and at least a million views so you can continue these trips👍👍
Great vid , Justin ! True Canadian wilderness tripping at it's finest ! Sad to know that it's coming to an end soon , but thank you so much for all the effort you went through to bring us this very memorable series . Looking forward to next week's episode already . All the very best to you , Heather and Sak .
Well done Justin, an excellent series. Your care for the enviroment and wildlife is great. When I saw you carring a firearm, I thouught you were going to blast your way across the Island for food. But I was wrong, only used for end of the line protection. You carried on with a smile on your face through very trying times that would have seen others giving up long before. From the number of registered views, you most definitely need more promotion. All the bestest Phil, Australia.
I feel like I'm on the adventure with you bro... I was almost upset, thinking that this was the final episode, but JOY, there's another one coming! So good Justin. All the camerawork, all the efforts. Top notch!
Yet another great video! Your skills with that camera are just as good as anyone with 1 million subs! Hope to see you get there some day. Consider me a loyal subscriber. Much love from the US
Great vid again Justin! Im watching this week from the comforts of my home, but had the luxury of internet on my phone at a spot last week while out on the road and actually watched from out in the bush hunkered down on a cold night myself! I thoroughly enjoyed the series and definitely look forward to your next endeavors!
G'day Justin, another great episode of your journey, although you looked a little worn out early on. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the finale. Regards Mark - Australia
Another great episode, will be very sad when the final one is done. But looking forward to whatever adventure comes next. Good luck with the channel, you've become one of my favorites!
It's hard to beleive you have accomplished so much distance. It's wonderful to see what hard work and perseverance can do. You are dedicated for sure. Looking forward to watching this episode
The highlight of the sunday, have we been watching Downton Abbey by the millions.. that was only a fantasy. This is reality and because of that so much more enjoyably, great guy, sweet dog, beautiful nature !
This needs to be on Sunday afternoons on NTV. 👍 Avalon Wilderness Area is my backyard, did a few overnights in there, with permit of course. Love this series bud!
Wow. You do what others only dream about doing. I really enjoyed this incredible journey of yours. What a finish! With all your friends and family waiting. Heart breaking. ❤️ Best regards from Denmark.

Awesome adventure! Thanks for sharing!
The series is well above the standard for TV syndication in Canada! Its a crying shame that it wasnt picked up in Newfoundland. Your proud of your Island and it would thrill audiences. Definitely needs promotion. Great video production!
Justin! You are committed dude!!! Love you and Sacu!
Going to be really sad to see the trip come to an end. I have really enjoyed the whole series, thanks!
I'll probably binge watch the entire adventure again once EP10 is there!
Justin and Saku,

Two great quotes from this episode: "That one got me good, Sak. Almost took me whole." And "I don't smell like a bar of soap." Well done, sir.

You need a sponsor. MEC or Cabelas should be setting you up for your next adventure. Really enjoying your adventure.
Cabela’s? The Fudd superstore? That’s hilarious.
Jer wolf Could be worse, MEC, which has devolved into a yuppy store. Maybe bass pro? But unless he needs the free stuff, it would kinda ruin it if he had a sponsor.
