That last story...not only was the dad a superhero coming to the rescue of the kids and staff...that young girl was a regular Commissioner Gordon.. the everyday hero calling a superhero in when the normal staff can't handle it. Way to go for both of them!

Yeah in the uk the grandmother would be facing racism changes. Last story: Major kudos to the manager offering those two kids prizes off the wall. I'm sure both of those kids were scared out of their minds what was happening but I also bet that getting something off the "Buck Free Key's" prize wall may have erased that whole horrible incident.
I doubt it, kids are like sponges. This will be on their psyche for a awhile, maybe into their adult hood. Although a prize off the wall is a nice gesture for sure.
I had a great freind who was a tow truck driver. When I got permission to have people blocking me in towed he would come and pick up the offending vehicle and store it inside his big polebarn building cuz he could charge more for storage. Cuz he didn't want anyone's vehicle to get damaged sitting outside lol. He also admitted to doing the same to aholes in handicapped parking. I miss that guy.
Story 1: The truck owner is going to be even more upset when he learns that the $2k is just the base fine and his real out of pocket costs are likely going to be over $3000 after processing fees and court costs are added. And that doesn't even consider the insurance hike he will probably have to pay as well!

Story 2: "None of you love me! You don't get me the things I want!" Me: If you were *three years old,* I would be somewhat fine with this, but you are far from that. You are the most spoiled I ever heard of.
I compare the entitled relative to that of a cousin of mine. She fell on hard times when she left her abusive husband. Her brother and sister in law took her in. Cousin was dealing with a lot trying to get her life together, but she helped with her brother and SIL’s kids, household chores, and meals. She got a part time job, got therapy, and eventually was able to pick up the pieces of her life. Her brother and SIL where glad that she chose to stay in the same area, as their young children had become very attached to their aunty. That is how one treats family that helps you, you support each other to the best of your abilities. You do not freeload on their goodwill.
1st story: When I was going to college I worked with students with disabilities. I learned a lot from these wonderful students. I will always remember one student who was in a wheelchair, spinal cord injury. He dealt with his paralysis with a sense of humor. He arrived at the university to find a nonhandicapped student parked in the handicapped parking space. He rolled his wheel chair up to the student & said," I will be happy to trade my parking space for your legs".
The last story just made me so sad. That's something that stays with you. This one time, I think I was 13-14, I was talking with a friend on the phone. He was older, like 17 or so. I could hear someone talking loudly in the back but I didn't think much of it because, hey, my family is loud too. But, the thing is, it seemed like he was in a room or something because suddenly the voice became much clearer and louder, demanding to know why he wasn't doing his homework and wasting time on the phone. It was his mom, who after berating him for nothing screamed 'You're just a mistake! I should've counted the days better! Such a nuisance!' and then I heard a door closing. Guys, I was floored. His own mother told him that the only reason he was alive was because she missed counting for her 'safe days'? I'm more than 30 now and I still remember it, I surely hope that he was able to put it back. He's now living in another country with his lovely wife (I actually had a hand in matching those two, so happy about that)

My son was very sick for several years. There were times that we couldn’t go into stores because we couldn’t get a handicapped spot. It was too hard to get the wheelchair out of the trunk and get him into it without the space provided by a handicapped spot.
I used to drive my folks vehicle when running to the store, My dad had a sever seizure disorder, and several other problems, and my mom had a number of medical issues stemming from a brain injury and a twice broken back. so both there vehicles had handicapped tags pluss my dads have disabled vet plates. I could literally have parked anywhere but I'm not dissabled just fat so I never used those spaces. I mean still to this day I will park far from the doors cause "fuck it I could use the walk" I had people I was riding with get on my case for it cause we could legally use those spots. my response was "we don't need them, hell my folks don't use those spots most days because if they are feeling that bad they don't want to drive and send me to the store for them"
Family members don't move into your families houses and lie to your druggie friends and say that the house is yours and basically trash it cause you are drunk and high all the time you don't know what you're doing. The last story had me laughing. That little girl is a regular Batgirl, sneaking a call the Batman for help. Sadly I know the crazies that store can bring in. I had several encounters with entitled aholes at one if them near me. My favorite story to tell was when I was about 12 and went with a Family friend and her grandkids. I was playing a basketball game when I heard someone behind me. I tuned around and found a Karen holding out a cup with tokens to me telling me to take it. When I tried to, she screamed at me "don't take these from my grandson!" I looked around and saw her grandson at another game 20ft away. I looked her square in the eye and told her this. She cut me off and wouldn't let me speak, screaming at me to not take things from HER. Now I was about 20ft from my table where my family friend and her husband sat. Their both retired marines. Family friend has a voice like thunder and so does her husband. As soon as she opened her mouth and said (loudly but not yelling) "what do you think your doing yelling at my granddaughter?" 🤣🤣the look on Karen's face, hahahaha priceless. Karen didn't bother me again.
Command voice, something learned when in military service (any branch) long enough, and civilians have NO IDEA what it's like until they've actually heard it. 🤣🤣

I'd have gone to jail even if I wasn't the parent! I once stopped a woman who was swinging her toddler around by the hair because she wouldn't stop crying and I broke her leg so she couldn't run away! I was 15 at the time and got a pat on the back from one of the cops, but they said don't make a habit of it. Bottom line, you don't mess with/hurt kids in my presence. Also, she'd have gotten a broken nose from me over the racism because my wife is dark skinned and has heard that enough.

The first story..... My mother had MS when I was in my early 20s, and like OP, we wouldn't use the handicapped spots if she was with me, because with her in a wheelchair and me pushing, it wasn't needed. One time, entering a mall, a car screeched to a halt in the handicapped parking spot by the door, just as we were passing. No placard hanging from the mirror, no plates to denote that he could legally use the area. I don't tolerate that sort of thing well, and I'm 6foot 6 tall, so I asked my Mom to wait for me, put the brakes on her chair right behind the idiot, and stepped over right beside his door. Right up against his door. He barks and tries to push it open, but I just leaned in harder. "Are you handicapped?" I asked. He said no and pushed again. "These spots are for handicapped drivers, and you're not, unless lazy and stupid counts now." He bitches and tries again to push his door open, but I won't move. "Look behind you," I tell him, and my Mom flutters her fingertips at him. "If we don't park here, and we legally could, then you sure as f#&k aren't going to. Move it. NOW." He did. We went inside and had a nice snack at the food court, and laughed at how entitled some people can be.
Telling her own grandchildren they belonged in the trash.... that's horrible to say to little kids!!! Yeah, full no contact and a restraining order are required after that. Heck, even disowning her until she straightens up... if she ever does.
I also have M.S., and when I was first diagnosed, I was able to walk pretty well, until I wasn't. That changed hourly, meaning that I could walk into a store and do some shopping right up until my legs just stopped working and it was a huge struggle to check out and get back to my vehicle. I was only about 22 years old, so outwardly I didn't look disabled. I caught someone diapprovally watching me put my two young children and groceries in the van, but before she could say a word, I said, "if you take my disease, I will more than happily take your parking spot!" Of course, all this time, I was hoping and praying that I get to sit down in the driver's seat and rest for a bit before the short ride home where I could rest some more before moving it all inside.
The last story: we go through hell and back with this racial entitled bull**** all the time.. I’m glad the little girl called her dad and he came in when he did!! You don’t ever call a kid trash and call people out their name!! The utter disrespect!!!
You know, I'm a grown adult, in my 50's. I'm a big guy, I'm tough, I'm strong, and I have been through and seen things that most have not, and hopefully never will. But when that Thing told that child that her daddy should have thrown her in the trash, tears welled up in my eyes. Anyone that did not feel a stab in their heart when she said that doesn't have a heart. What a poor excuse for a human that kid's grandmother was.
The last story... I have always taught my kids that this is a great country with room for everything and everyone with one exception. There is NO room for rudeness, racism and intolerance. Kudos to the young manager for keeping his cool during the whole mess and a nice pat on the back for the quick-thinking granddaughter for phoning her dad. Last story. A couple years ago, I decided to celebrate my birthday at Chucky Cheese since both of my kids missed out on their birthday party due to weather. Set up as they were the birthday kids and not me. I noticed a 4 or 5 year old running around, taking over games, grabbing a couple tokens from other people, slices of pizza from our tables and unoccupied drinks/juices from the birthday area. We got an attendant to locate a parent once I was corrected that he wasn't from the other party. Turned out the mom said he was part of a birthday group which she pointed towards the area where ours and another party was set up separately, then had left to sit in her car to get high. He told them his mommy does this all the time. Cops were called. Threats were yelled. Arrest was made. Kid was taken. They gave us a new small cheese pizza, 50 tickets and 20 tokens to cover the small Chaos. I have no issues with allowing a new kid my children befriended to join the party, but only after talking to a guardian just in case of allergies.
The little girl in the last story is the true hero. Knowing what her gram was doing was wrong, loving her and respecting her but having the courage to call her dad KNOWING what the consequences if she got caught! SHE IS ONE HELL OF A HUMAN BEING! Her parents did an excellent job raising her.

The second story: if Cassandra's sister were 10 years older, then I would have sworn this could have been about my former friend. Let's call her Kelly. Totally how I would have described her: a good digger without the good looks all she has left is a horrible personality. For a variety of reasons including preserving my mental health and not wanting to deal with her toxicity anymore, I cut contact with Kelly almost 10 years. In the time that I knew her, Kelly managed to bag not one, but two husbands and from what I've heard through the grapevine, her second marriage is slowly crashing and burning. Kelly never wanted to work, contribute to the world and expected to have everything handed to her just because she was here. I'm sure you all know the type. She often put her own comforts and selfish desires above the basic needs of herchildren. She prioritized having her hair done, her nails done, a full pack of cigarettes and booze in the fridge over taking care of them. Her daughter needed feminine hygiene products after starting her period? Nope. Her son needed his teeth fixed because she let him eat nothing but junk food and they were slowly rotting out of his head? Nope. Going to the salon to get a fresh manicure or a new dye job were more important to her. She also treated every single person she knew, including her extended family that all cut her off, as if they were transactional options. She bled everyone dry who was dumb enough to ever help her under the promise that she would “pay them back.” Of course, this came with a catch and she would later on bait and switch then turn into a ghost when it came time to pay up. This is just a highly abridged take on what it was like dealing with her. There are so many stories I could tell you about her. This story about Cassandra's sister just totally is almost a mirror image of how Kelly was. I do not miss her at all.

Racist Gamy story -- It's heartwarming to see that Gamy didn't ruin her son and he turned out to be a really decent human being in spite of being raised by that witch! The story of the entitled sister hit home with me. I have a sister that believes the world owes her a living. She has done some really shady things in her life like forcing her kids to work and handing over their paycheck to her. She has no shame and will beg money from anyone. I have put myself through college and have built up my career to a six figure income which she tells me is unfair and that I should give her money because my life is so good and hers is not. I finally got sick of it as I had given her thousands of dollars and laid into her with the tongue lashing of a lifetime about 10 years ago. Apparently I am very scary when I am pissed off or so I have been told by several people. I think it is because I never get angry as I am a sweet and gentle person about 99% of the time. She never asked anything of me after that. A couple of years ago her youngest son was in an accident and in the ICU. I was out of town when it happened. My niece told me when I got back that my sister went to visit him in the ICU and she slapped him because she was mad that he just cost her money since he is unable to work. I calmly asked my niece to relay a message for me that "if she thinks slapping people who cost her money is the right thing to do, then the next time I see her I was going to slap her into a coma. She needs to think long and hard of the right answer to my question before the next time I see her". My niece thought I was kidding and laughed but stopped when she saw the look on my face. I said "tell her what I said verbatim". She told her and came back to tell me that was the first time she had ever seen her mother scared. My niece asked me if I really was going to do it. I smiled and said "Of course not, I am not stupid! But she thinks I will and that is what I intended. She will never admit that she was wrong but her reaction was acknowledgement enough that she screwed up." She never asked her kids for money again and avoided me for 3 years!
Yikes. The last story. The part that is the most aggravating, is her completely switching tones to reasonable and sweet, when her son comes. So then I know she has no excuse that she grew up in a different time or old folks don't change easily. She KNOWS better, and is purposely trying to be mean to everyone she thinks she can get away with -- children, other races. That generation, the women, do tend to bow to men. So she turned to lower in the hierarchy pretty quick. But you know when the son was young, he went through that crap with her.

I saw one comment saying that she may have tried to ditch the kids there because her son married a non-white person and the kids are mixed. There's no evidence to support it, but it would make the most sense.

The 51 yo sister story is something else. I am disabled and unable to work. I am damned lucky my family graciously let's me live in their home and I get help when I need it. I hate not being able to work or take care of myself. People like that sister just make me sick!
I was almost in tears that a grandmother would say that to their own grandchildren! My heart is seriously breaking for those kids. No kid deserves to be talked to in that manner. I wish they would've had a grandmother like mine, she was a freaking angel on earth. But you mess with her grand babies, all hell would break loose.
Um, Cassandra whose sister isn't married at 51. I'm never married at 67 and I turned down both of the guys who proposed to me because I wasn't in love with either one. Furthermore, I've always been plain. I suspect her personaliry is why your sister is single, not her lack of good looks.
Story 1: It’s Walmart. That’s par for the course at Walmart. Used to work for Walmart. Total crap show. Never again. Story 2: I got two Older Sisters. One of them passed away back in September 2021 at 37 years old. The other has a life of her own. My Mom on the other hand is a mess at current. Story 3: I’m not a parent. If I was and my Mom was like that which I’m sure wouldn’t be the case, I would’ve done the same thing as her son. Great job on the part of the little girl. Just because you’re related to me doesn’t mean I’ll tolerate verbal abuse towards me or towards others. I’ve got the Irish temper and don’t put up with racist people.
There’s an epidemic of entitled people blowing up when asked to follow *the same simple rules* that *literally every customer* is asked to follow, then complaining to everyone that “their rights were violated”. 😒 What, you had a right to scream racial slurs at a member of staff? You had a right to make it easier for your grandchildren to be taken by strangers? (Note: I know the woman in the story didn’t literally scream that her rights were violated in the story, but she’ll probably go on social media and claim that since that’s what these people usually do nowadays) That’s why I don’t trust most of these online posts with people claiming they were abused by workers at such-and-such a store or restaurant. There have been cases of people claiming they were mistreated at restaurants that weren’t even open yet.
I'm just waiting for it to result in people snapping and outright mass slaughtering a bunch of entitled people (and likely a lot of non entitled people too, just in too much of a rage to differentiate). I just feel it's coming eventually, the entitlement keeps growing and growing...
The last story should have been the headliner instead of the first. It's amazing how a woman like this grandma is a Karen to the rest of the general public but then tries to play the victim. Only this time, she got caught and got her butt chewed out hard. Incidentally, if she tries to sue for grandparents rights, then the OP who wrote the last story and the company he works for should should submit their CCTV video feeds demonstrating her obnoxious behavior as evidence. And that would put an end to her attempt of trying to get custody the grandkids. It's also obvious, that she does not like the woman her son married and is probably mistreated the wife as a slave and servant to her and thus thinks that she is above their marriage. A person like that will receive the greatest of karma at the very end. Especially those who refused to acknowledge or break family boundaries.
I know a guy in a wheelchair who drives and his side job is finding noncompliant parking lots that dont have handicap parking or any violation. He also calls in every car that's illegally parked. The city pays him commission for each report. He reports if the space is too small or in the wrong place or if theres not a ramp. Professional Karen I guess but I dont blame him, it directly affects him. Jus really cool that the city pays him so well.

Hes a cool guy overall, but dont piss him off. His weekend job started like petty revenge or malicious compliance but he keeps at it cus the city pays good money.
Those poor kids the kid has a flip phone to call her Dad because obviously Gammy has done this before. What kid doesn't like stamps. I have four kids and a ton of nieces and nephews and I have never seen even one of them refuse a hand stamp. I firmly stand by my previous theory that these Karen's look for any reason to complain or cause a scene. That lady was winding up to demand free everything.
Imagine if the father in Story 3 was a former Skinhead who decided to change his ways, and then hears what his mother says. Justice is served in more ways than one. Entitled Sister Story: it's rare that I get upset by these stories, but ES's claim that "nobody loves me" hit me hard. As a child raised by an abusive parent, scarred all my long life by knowing that "nobody loved me", I have nothing but contempt for someone who equates love with "nice things".
"She won't be treating us like family anymore." Thats where I'd have cut her off and said "so nothings changing? You didnt act like family before so why would we treat you like family after you disrespected us in our own home. Do not contact us again as you are henceforth disowned and are not family." Because I have no tolerance now forgiveness to tried to make their unstable mind and behaviour everyone's problem and acts like its everyone else's fault for their lack of love towards themself.
Sadly. Grandmonster stories are more and more prevalent in our Oh So Great Society. Heart goes out to those children. People have no idea how damaging they are to others, especially the ones they profess to love.
In the last story I love how the employees were able to maintain their professionalism even after all the racism. But the moment she told her granddaughter she will throw her away like daddy should have. They almost lost it and took the manager an extraordinary amount of self control to stop the violence. That just demonstrates the human mind. Talk crap about me i can handle it but threaten children is a no no. Then dad of the year put that bitch in place. Good on the dad and employees in that story.
im honestly a surprised she still has the energy to party like that in her 50s. My mom barely has energy to do things other than work at home and go to church, and she's almost in her mid 50s.
Some have more energy than others-which is why it's ridiculous that she can't find a job to support herself and burn off that extra energy as well. She's an 80's kid and teenager

My dad had a few friends in the 80s when I was a kid. They were in their 30s and lived a few doors down. They had a younger brother and older sister but then mom died. Dad was a owner of a fairly big construction company so he had the bucks but always treated his kids like shit. Then when their dad was in his late 50s he met a 20 something gold digger who popped him out a kid real quick. We.l she no met them the kid was my age of 10 and he was the kid who had everything. Good clothes toys games bikes. Well his older brother was in his 30s and rented the small house that was his dad's and was behind the house he grew up in.he had a good government job very smart guy. He had my dad help him build his 68 firebird car. Jet black and beautiful. One day while he was sleeping his younger brother decided black wasn't a pretty color. The boy was showing gay tendencies and us other kids felt uncomfortable hanging with him because he would grab our butts then cry to his dad when he got hit. Well he took a bunch of neon spraypaints and painted his brothers car.when i came home and saw him doing that i ran to his window and was like ave dave wake up man your car hurry wake up. His car was his baby he grabbed his gun ran outside and almost died.he got quiet took his gun back inside and came out grabbed his brother by the back of the neck picked up the pain st and started spray painting him neon green. I'm busting up laughing.then as the kid is crying he lets go and spray paints the kids bike a Nasty magenta like color. The parents weren't home dad worked constantly mom was always away spending the guy walked upstairs and proceeded to spraypaint the kids room and everything in it.looked like the 80s puked in there. Thx kid used to make their lives he'll the first siblings. Got his bros and sitar kicked out because they would do what he wanted them to do. This guy had enough. He also knew bad things about the mother of the kid and his dad's biz dealings. The father and mother freaked out but he told the wife say something no dare ya.this l happened in their front yard with everyone watching. The father wasn't home yet and the guy told her that he would tell his dad about her special friend she visits once a week. She was cheating he told us long ago. She shut up real quick. The dad came home and again in the front yard.he was complaining more bout the house than the sun. Then the wife started in again so he spilled the beans in front of half the street that she was banging his foreman and the kid may be his.then he tells his dad to f off this house was built for mom so you need to leave take your slug and her brat and give us kids the house or he's gonna report his dealings on his construction biz. The guy moved too his soon to be ex wife and kid to another house and moved his 2 brothers in. His sis already was married with her own house. He kept the house in the back rent free. My dad had the guys at his shop repaint the car for a fairly cheap freind fee. We only saw that kid a few more times. But in the end dad was fined for cutting corners on buildings when a house almost fell in from shoddy materials.lost most his money. Kid had to wear target clothes lol I remember hearing him complain about that I just laughed and said Ohhh poor baby. Never heard anything more bout his mom though.
That last story, that guy is a saint. I love my mother but if she were to do the same, I don't believe I could remain that calm. There is a saying "there is nothing scarier than a woman scorned." People who believe that saying have never seen a father defending his children.
There's also a very good saying I've always heard growing up, when kids are hurt or suffering parents can get god like strength. Grandma is lucky her son was gentle enough not to cave her face in right then and there.

At 52 (will be 53 on January 30th), even though I was sheltered and a bit spoiled, being the "baby" of the family, once I lost my parents, I NEVER acted anywhere NEAR this entitled. I had to learn to grow up fast, spent MANY years living in the crappiest conditions, barely keeping my head above water. My wife is a police officer and out of all the things she does in the line of duty, writing tickets for handicap parking violations is her favorite. And she is ruthless to boot, she calls for the tow just before she starts writing the ticket.
Tell your wife thanks, she is great, and if she isn't already to expand that to fire lanes So many people parking in fire lanes and people forced to use one lane. Every time I see that I pray a firetruck needs the spot and rams the car out of the way or an officer rights a massive ticket and tows the vehicle...

Shes told me many times, there's a lot of crap in the job she hates, but those are the best. And don't worry, if a fire truck needs that space they likely wont ram it since that can damage the truck. But they don't mind doing things like running hoses through the car.

Oh man, I have an entitled chuck e cheese story! I was there for my nephews birthday which I actually paid for and wasn't planning on attending but ended up having the free time to make it, and I caught the tail end of the party but apparently some random family tried to blend in with the party and even opened gifts for my nephew and the staff eas supposed to regulate that stuff, but guests and my nephews made friends with 2 of the kids while there and we let it happen as it wasn't worth making a scene and making these kids feel bad for their parents failure and at the end were gift bags for the kids but only enough for invited guests of course. There were a total of 3 of these kids and we also found out they were with other kids and parents but were the only ones who joined the party and got pizza and soda and cake etc. There was an extra gift bag because 1 kid didn't attend and my nephew awkwardly offered his own gift bag up as well as the extra one to make the kids feel comfortable but there were 3 total including the 3rd spazz kid that started opening presents who was the younger sibling and that's when I said simply "that's nice of you to offer your gift bag but unfortunately there was only 1 extra on top of that so we can't give you 1 bud as we didn't know you were coming but take an extra piece of cake and as much pizza as you want" the poor kids eyes were welling something fierce, lips were squaring up and Starting to quiver and we all braced for what was inevitably coming and my nephew being the generous and selfless kid he is grabs his brothers gift bag (my older nephew who couldn't have cared less about the stupid gift bags and was happy to let him have it) and just says "oh here Jeremy! This one is yours" but he wanted an iron man one and not captain America but at this point it was that standard irrational little kid logic and I honestly felt bad but seriously had the devil tickling me and I couldn't resist overwhelming laughter but was trying very hard to stop and desperately trying to think of rubbing Vaseline on old people or something so that I would stop my involuntary laughter which was contagious because everyone sort of start to lose control and were letting out these explosive eruptions of laughter but also trying to hold back because of the way he managed to get out "but... I... want... want... iron man..." in between wailing cries. The mere concept that this was his biggest crisis was just so funny! Well apparently his irresponsible and rude mother who seemed to forget she had children entirely while she made trips back and forth outside to smoke cigarettes and talk on the phone decided to storm over and immediately start berating us all without even bothering to see what was the matter and just accuse us of harming her children who were fiercely defending the generous new friends and their family while explaining that Jeremy just was upset the character on his bag that was actually generously given to him by an actually invited kid wasn't the one he wanted and the staff had actually begun to do their job and try to intervene and even told her they'd have to leave if she didn't stop this and that we not only did nothing wrong but we also fed, included, gave up gift bags and I later learned even gave them cards I had bought with play credits for the kids so they could play games too. I originally bought $200 in play cards and spent an extra $250 when I arrived after learning the kids burned through them rather quickly. I had no problem with this as I just wanted them to all have fun and would have given the extra money before but just didn't realize the cost and didn't know it would go as fast as it did. The employee even said that was super nice of me and usually parents are expected to provide their kids with game play money to some degree for parties they attend as the credits provided in party packages usually don't cover enough etc. They were apologizing to me as they felt really bad we would be treated like that and that they failed to regulate party attendance but I understand these are kids themselves and are dealing with immense entitlement and grief daily lol. The mother actually just walked away embarrassed after even its own kids were on our side and I found out they exchanged Gamer I.d. info and became friends in real life etc. Even the spazz is invited to events and they are all really close and the mother has since apologized and smoothed things over and their dad wanted to reimburse their dad but he explained it was his brother in law (me) who paid but wouldn't even accept and was happy to especially since the kids (minus spazz but understandable) were very polite and thankful and they all became good friends. I've seen the mother a few times since then and she apologized directly to me and said she is so embarrassed etc but its all good she said she just was very stressed with personal matters and momma bear instincts combined with wanting to take her problems out on someone mixed to a volatile matter and there's no excuse etc. It's all good now but man I was really seconds away from causing a major scene and really tearing into her as it was so incredible the audacity lol. Happy I didn't as it would have made for awkward times or them never becoming close friends in life afterwards.
Oh, that manager deserves a medal! ... And so does that employee. I've been a Santa for quite a while now so I like to think of myself as fairly good-natured, but I seriously doubt I could have held back on that racist piece of Gam Gam. I'm proud of that son too! That woman must have a long history of that attitude for him to just lose it like that. Those poor kids, and that brilliant little girl with the cell... Man, if I could hug everyone dealing with that attempted groanedma, I would.

#2 If it wasn't for the ages and job descriptions of OP this story could be about my sister-in-law. We sold our house and bought a new one and she said we should've given her our old house so we could keep paying the mortgage but she could rent it out and keep that money. She said we were jealous of her and we didn't love her because we wouldn't do this. Keep in mind she lives in a house rent free that her mother inherited. There is a mortgage and taxes, none of which she pays (recent she started paying the taxes, but she still owes for 2020, and 2021 is due this month). These people do exist.

I doubt it, kids are like sponges. This will be on their psyche for a awhile, maybe into their adult hood. Although a prize off the wall is a nice gesture for sure.

I had a great freind who was a tow truck driver. When I got permission to have people blocking me in towed he would come and pick up the offending vehicle and store it inside his big polebarn building cuz he could charge more for storage. Cuz he didn't want anyone's vehicle to get damaged sitting outside lol.
He also admitted to doing the same to aholes in handicapped parking.
I miss that guy.
Story 1: The truck owner is going to be even more upset when he learns that the $2k is just the base fine and his real out of pocket costs are likely going to be over $3000 after processing fees and court costs are added. That last story... phew! I feel overwhelmed just listening. I can't imagine being that manager having to deal with that woman.
I compare the entitled relative to that of a cousin of mine. She fell on hard times when she left her abusive husband. Her brother and sister in law took her in. Cousin was dealing with a lot trying to get her life together, but she helped with her brother and SIL’s kids, household chores, and meals. She got a part time job, got therapy, and eventually was able to pick up the pieces of her life. Her brother and SIL where glad that she chose to stay in the same area, as their young children had become very attached to their aunty. That is how one treats family that helps you, you support each other to the best of your abilities. You do not freeload on their goodwill.
That dad on the final story is a hero. Talk about "trash talk"....

1st story: When I was going to college I worked with students with disabilities. I learned a lot from these wonderful students. I will always remember one student who was in a wheelchair, spinal cord injury. He dealt with his paralysis with a sense of humor. He arrived at the university to find a nonhandicapped student parked in the handicapped parking space. He rolled his wheel chair up to the student & said," I will be happy to trade my parking space for your legs".

The last story just made me so sad. That's something that stays with you.
This one time, I think I was 13-14, I was talking with a friend on the phone. He was older, like 17 or so. I could hear someone talking loudly in the back but I didn't think much of it because, hey, my family is loud too. But, the thing is, it seemed like he was in a room or something because suddenly the voice became much clearer and louder, demanding to know why he wasn't doing his homework and wasting time on the phone. It was his mom, who after berating him for nothing screamed 'You're just a mistake! I should've counted the days better! Such a nuisance!' and then I heard a door closing.

My son was very sick for several years. There were times that we couldn’t go into stores because we couldn’t get a handicapped spot. It was too hard to get the wheelchair out of the trunk and get him into it without the space provided by a handicapped spot.
I used to drive my folks vehicle when running to the store, My dad had a sever seizure disorder, and several other problems, and my mom had a number of medical issues stemming from a brain injury and a twice broken back. so both there vehicles had handicapped tags pluss my dads have disabled vet plates. I could literally have parked anywhere but I'm not dissabled just fat so I never used those spaces. I mean still to this day I will park far from the doors cause "fuck it I could use the walk" I had people I was riding with get on my case for it cause we could legally use those spots. my response was "we don't need them, hell my folks don't use those spots most days because if they are feeling that bad they don't want to drive and send me to the store for them"
It's always five minutes with people like that, or a quick pop in and out for just one item.
Family members don't move into your families houses and lie to your druggie friends and say that the house is yours and basically trash it cause you are drunk and high all the time you don't know what you're doing. I don't blame OP for telling the sister no, she is over 50 and it's time to grow up and take responsibility for your life and get it into shape.

The last story had me laughing. That little girl is a regular Batgirl, sneaking a call the Batman for help.
Sadly I know the crazies that store can bring in. I had several encounters with entitled aholes at one if them near me. My favorite story to tell was when I was about 12 and went with a Family friend and her grandkids. I was playing a basketball game when I heard someone behind me. I tuned around and found a Karen holding out a cup with tokens to me telling me to take it. When I tried to, she screamed at me "don't take these from my grandson!" I looked around and saw her grandson at another game 20ft away. I looked her square in the eye and told her this. She cut me off and wouldn't let me speak, screaming at me to not take things from HER. Now I was about 20ft from my table where my family friend and her husband sat. Their both retired marines. Family friend has a voice like thunder and so does her husband. As soon as she opened her mouth and said (loudly but not yelling) "what do you think your doing yelling at my granddaughter?" 🤣🤣the look on Karen's face, hahahaha priceless. Karen didn't bother me again.
Command voice, something learned when in military service (any branch) long enough, and civilians have NO IDEA what it's like until they've actually heard it. 🤣🤣

I'd have gone to jail even if I wasn't the parent! I once stopped a woman who was swinging her toddler around by the hair because she wouldn't stop crying and I broke her leg so she couldn't run away! I was 15 at the time and got a pat on the back from one of the cops, but they said don't make a habit of it. Bottom line, you don't mess with/hurt kids in my presence. Also, she'd have gotten a broken nose from me over the racism because my wife is dark skinned and has heard that enough.

Wow! The dad coming in to rescue his kids from their grandmother and then apologizing, I had to listen to it twice! That is a true and honorable gentleman. The first story..... My mother had MS when I was in my early 20s, and like OP, we wouldn't use the handicapped spots if she was with me, because with her in a wheelchair and me pushing, it wasn't needed. One time, entering a mall, a car screeched to a halt in the handicapped parking spot by the door, just as we were passing. No placard hanging from the mirror, no plates to denote that he could legally use the area. I don't tolerate that sort of thing well, and I'm 6foot 6 tall, so I asked my Mom to wait for me, put the brakes on her chair right behind the idiot, and stepped over right beside his door.
Right up against his door.
He barks and tries to push it open, but I just leaned in harder. "Are you handicapped?" I asked. He said no and pushed again. "These spots are for handicapped drivers, and you're not, unless lazy and stupid counts now."
He bitches and tries again to push his door open, but I won't move.
"Look behind you," I tell him, and my Mom flutters her fingertips at him. "If we don't park here, and we legally could, then you sure as f#&k aren't going to. Move it. NOW."
He did. We went inside and had a nice snack at the food court, and laughed at how entitled some people can be.
Telling her own grandchildren they belonged in the trash.... that's horrible to say to little kids!!! Yeah, full no contact and a restraining order are required after that. Heck, even disowning her until she straightens up... if she ever does.
I also have M.S., and when I was first diagnosed, I was able to walk pretty well, until I wasn't. That changed hourly, meaning that I could walk into a store and do some shopping right up until my legs just stopped working and it was a huge struggle to check out and get back to my vehicle.
I was only about 22 years old, so outwardly I didn't look disabled. I caught someone diapprovally watching me put my two young children and groceries in the van, but before she could say a word, I said, "if you take my disease, I will more than happily take your parking spot!"
Of course, all this time, I was hoping and praying that I get to sit down in the driver's seat and rest for a bit before the short ride home where I could rest some more before moving it all inside.

The last story... I have always taught my kids that this is a great country with room for everything and everyone with one exception. There is NO room for rudeness, racism and intolerance. Kudos to the young manager for keeping his cool during the whole mess and a nice pat on the back for the quick-thinking granddaughter for phoning her dad. He seems to be an upright dude who put "gammy" in her place as she needed to have done. Well done to all in this story (except "Gammy").
Last story. A couple years ago, I decided to celebrate my birthday at Chucky Cheese since both of my kids missed out on their birthday party due to weather. Set up as they were the birthday kids and not me. I noticed a 4 or 5 year old running around, taking over games, grabbing a couple tokens from other people, slices of pizza from our tables and unoccupied drinks/juices from the birthday area. We got an attendant to locate a parent once I was corrected that he wasn't from the other party. Turned out the mom said he was part of a birthday group which she pointed towards the area where ours and another party was set up separately, then had left to sit in her car to get high. He told them his mommy does this all the time. Cops were called. Threats were yelled. Arrest was made. Kid was taken. They gave us a new small cheese pizza, 50 tickets and 20 tokens to cover the small Chaos. I have no issues with allowing a new kid my children befriended to join the party, but only after talking to a guardian just in case of allergies.
The little girl in the last story is the true hero. Knowing what her gram was doing was wrong, loving her and respecting her but having the courage to call her dad KNOWING what the consequences if she got caught! SHE IS ONE HELL OF A HUMAN BEING! Her parents did an excellent job raising her.

The second story: if Cassandra's sister were 10 years older, then I would have sworn this could have been about my former friend. Let's call her Kelly. Totally how I would have described her: a good digger without the good looks all she has left is a horrible personality. For a variety of reasons including preserving my mental health and not wanting to deal with her toxicity anymore, I cut contact with Kelly almost 10 years. In the time that I knew her, Kelly managed to bag not one, but two husbands and from what I've heard through the grapevine, her second marriage is slowly crashing and burning. Kelly never wanted to work, contribute to the world and expected to have everything handed to her just because she was here. I'm sure you all know the type. She often put her own comforts and selfish desires above the basic needs of herchildren. She prioritized having her hair done, her nails done, a full pack of cigarettes and booze in the fridge over taking care of them. Her daughter needed feminine hygiene products after starting her period? Nope. Her son needed his teeth fixed because she let him eat nothing but junk food and they were slowly rotting out of his head? Nope. Going to the salon to get a fresh manicure or a new dye job were more important to her. She also treated every single person she knew, including her extended family that all cut her off, as if they were transactional options. She bled everyone dry who was dumb enough to ever help her under the promise that she would “pay them back.” Of course, this came with a catch and she would later on bait and switch then turn into a ghost when it came time to pay up. This is just a highly abridged take on what it was like dealing with her. There are so many stories I could tell you about her. This story about Cassandra's sister just totally is almost a mirror image of how Kelly was. I do not miss her at all.

The story of the entitled sister hit home with me. I have a sister that believes the world owes her a living. She has done some really shady things in her life like forcing her kids to work and handing over their paycheck to her. She has no shame and will beg money from anyone. I have put myself through college and have built up my career to a six figure income which she tells me is unfair and that I should give her money because my life is so good and hers is not. I finally got sick of it as I had given her thousands of dollars and laid into her with the tongue lashing of a lifetime about 10 years ago.
Apparently I am very scary when I am pissed off or so I have been told by several people. I think it is because I never get angry as I am a sweet and gentle person about 99% of the time. She never asked anything of me after that.
A couple of years ago her youngest son was in an accident and in the ICU. I was out of town when it happened. My niece told me when I got back that my sister went to visit him in the ICU and she slapped him because she was mad that he just cost her money since he is unable to work.
I calmly asked my niece to relay a message for me that "if she thinks slapping people who cost her money is the right thing to do, then the next time I see her I was going to slap her into a coma. She needs to think long and hard of the right answer to my question before the next time I see her".
My niece thought I was kidding and laughed but stopped when she saw the look on my face. I said "tell her what I said verbatim". She told her and came back to tell me that was the first time she had ever seen her mother scared. My niece asked me if I really was going to do it. I smiled and said "Of course not, I am not stupid! But she thinks I will and that is what I intended. She will never admit that she was wrong but her reaction was acknowledgement enough that she screwed up."
She never asked her kids for money again and avoided me for 3 years!
Bet she woke up in a cold sweat for a few days.

Yikes. The last story. The part that is the most aggravating, is her completely switching tones to reasonable and sweet, when her son comes. So then I know she has no excuse that she grew up in a different time or old folks don't change easily. I saw one comment saying that she may have tried to ditch the kids there because her son married a non-white person and the kids are mixed. There's no evidence to support it, but it would make the most sense.

The 51 yo sister story is something else. I am disabled and unable to work. I am damned lucky my family graciously let's me live in their home and I get help when I need it. I hate not being able to work or take care of myself. People like that sister just make me sick!

Story 1: It’s Walmart. That’s par for the course at Walmart. Used to work for Walmart. Total crap show. Never again.
Story 2: I got two Older Sisters. One of them passed away back in September 2021 at 37 years old. The other has a life of her own. My Mom on the other hand is a mess at current.
Story 3: I’m not a parent. If I was and my Mom was like that which I’m sure wouldn’t be the case, I would’ve done the same thing as her son. Great job on the part of the little girl. Just because you’re related to me doesn’t mean I’ll tolerate verbal abuse towards me or towards others. I’ve got the Irish temper and don’t put up with racist people.
There’s an epidemic of entitled people blowing up when asked to follow *the same simple rules* that *literally every customer* is asked to follow, then complaining to everyone that “their rights were violated”. 😒 What, you had a right to scream racial slurs at a member of staff? You had a right to make it easier for your grandchildren to be taken by strangers? (Note: I know the woman in the story didn’t literally scream that her rights were violated in the story, but she’ll probably go on social media and claim that since that’s what these people usually do nowadays) That’s why I don’t trust most of these online posts with people claiming they were abused by workers at such-and-such a store or restaurant. There have been cases of people claiming they were mistreated at restaurants that weren’t even open yet.
I'm just waiting for it to result in people snapping and outright mass slaughtering a bunch of entitled people (and likely a lot of non entitled people too, just in too much of a rage to differentiate). I just feel it's coming eventually, the entitlement keeps growing and growing...
The last story should have been the headliner instead of the first. It's amazing how a woman like this grandma is a Karen to the rest of the general public but then tries to play the victim. Only this time, she got caught and got her butt chewed out hard. Incidentally, if she tries to sue for grandparents rights, then the OP who wrote the last story and the company he works for should should submit their CCTV video feeds demonstrating her obnoxious behavior as evidence. And that would put an end to her attempt of trying to get custody the grandkids. It's also obvious, that she does not like the woman her son married and is probably mistreated the wife as a slave and servant to her and thus thinks that she is above their marriage. A person like that will receive the greatest of karma at the very end. Especially those who refused to acknowledge or break family boundaries.

I know a guy in a wheelchair who drives and his side job is finding noncompliant parking lots that dont have handicap parking or any violation. He also calls in every car that's illegally parked. The city pays him commission for each report. He reports if the space is too small or in the wrong place or if theres not a ramp. Professional Karen I guess but I dont blame him, it directly affects him. Jus really cool that the city pays him so well.

Those poor kids the kid has a flip phone to call her Dad because obviously Gammy has done this before. What kid doesn't like stamps. I have four kids and a ton of nieces and nephews and I have never seen even one of them refuse a hand stamp. Entitled Sister Story: it's rare that I get upset by these stories, but ES's claim that "nobody loves me" hit me hard. As a child raised by an abusive parent, scarred all my long life by knowing that "nobody loved me", I have nothing but contempt for someone who equates love with "nice things".
Jaw dropped at that iconic line of the grandmother, and then lost it at the employee nearly showing that violence was indeed the answer
"She won't be treating us like family anymore." Thats where I'd have cut her off and said "so nothings changing? You didnt act like family before so why would we treat you like family after you disrespected us in our own home. Do not contact us again as you are henceforth disowned and are not family." Because I have no tolerance now forgiveness to tried to make their unstable mind and behaviour everyone's problem and acts like its everyone else's fault for their lack of love towards themself.

In the last story I love how the employees were able to maintain their professionalism even after all the racism. But the moment she told her granddaughter she will throw her away like daddy should have. They almost lost it and took the manager an extraordinary amount of self control to stop the violence. That just demonstrates the human mind. Talk crap about me i can handle it but threaten children is a no no. Then dad of the year put that bitch in place. Good on the dad and employees in that story.

im honestly a surprised she still has the energy to party like that in her 50s. My mom barely has energy to do things other than work at home and go to church, and she's almost in her mid 50s.

51 year old sister story: First, reinforce the locks on your doors and windows. Second, if you don't have one already, get a security system with multiple cameras with sound. Third, block her number and block her on your social media. Do #3 last to give you time to do #1 and #2, she may be entitled enough to go ballistic after you block her. Be prepared to get a restraining order against her. Tough love.
My dad had a few friends in the 80s when I was a kid. They were in their 30s and lived a few doors down. They had a younger brother and older sister but then mom died. Dad was a owner of a fairly big construction company so he had the bucks but always treated his kids like shit. Then when their dad was in his late 50s he met a 20 something gold digger who popped him out a kid real quick. We.l she no met them the kid was my age of 10 and he was the kid who had everything. Good clothes toys games bikes. Well his older brother was in his 30s and rented the small house that was his dad's and was behind the house he grew up in.he had a good government job very smart guy. He had my dad help him build his 68 firebird car. Jet black and beautiful. One day while he was sleeping his younger brother decided black wasn't a pretty color. The boy was showing gay tendencies and us other kids felt uncomfortable hanging with him because he would grab our butts then cry to his dad when he got hit. Well he took a bunch of neon spraypaints and painted his brothers car.when i came home and saw him doing that i ran to his window and was like ave dave wake up man your car hurry wake up. His car was his baby he grabbed his gun ran outside and almost died.he got quiet took his gun back inside and came out grabbed his brother by the back of the neck picked up the pain st and started spray painting him neon green. I'm busting up laughing.then as the kid is crying he lets go and spray paints the kids bike a Nasty magenta like color. The parents weren't home dad worked constantly mom was always away spending the guy walked upstairs and proceeded to spraypaint the kids room and everything in it.looked like the 80s puked in there. Thx kid used to make their lives he'll the first siblings. Got his bros and sitar kicked out because they would do what he wanted them to do. This guy had enough. He also knew bad things about the mother of the kid and his dad's biz dealings. The father and mother freaked out but he told the wife say something no dare ya.this l happened in their front yard with everyone watching. The father wasn't home yet and the guy told her that he would tell his dad about her special friend she visits once a week. She was cheating he told us long ago. She shut up real quick. The dad came home and again in the front yard.he was complaining more bout the house than the sun. Then the wife started in again so he spilled the beans in front of half the street that she was banging his foreman and the kid may be his.then he tells his dad to f off this house was built for mom so you need to leave take your slug and her brat and give us kids the house or he's gonna report his dealings on his construction biz. The guy moved too his soon to be ex wife and kid to another house and moved his 2 brothers in. His sis already was married with her own house. He kept the house in the back rent free. My dad had the guys at his shop repaint the car for a fairly cheap freind fee. We only saw that kid a few more times. But in the end dad was fined for cutting corners on buildings when a house almost fell in from shoddy materials.lost most his money. Kid had to wear target clothes lol I remember hearing him complain about that I just laughed and said Ohhh poor baby. Never heard anything more bout his mom though.
That last story, that guy is a saint. I love my mother but if she were to do the same, I don't believe I could remain that calm. There is a saying "there is nothing scarier than a woman scorned." People who believe that saying have never seen a father defending his children.
There's also a very good saying I've always heard growing up, when kids are hurt or suffering parents can get god like strength. Grandma is lucky her son was gentle enough not to cave her face in right then and there.
Cassandra, I loved your story! I'm sorry you're going through this with your PITA sister. At 52 (will be 53 on January 30th), even though I was sheltered and a bit spoiled, being the "baby" of the family, once I lost my parents, I NEVER acted anywhere NEAR this entitled.
I had to learn to grow up fast, spent MANY years living in the crappiest conditions, barely keeping my head above water. I would've been SO thankful if one of my siblings had taken me in like you did for your sister, and wouldn't have DREAMED of abusing the situation. Smh.

My wife is a police officer and out of all the things she does in the line of duty, writing tickets for handicap parking violations is her favorite. And she is ruthless to boot, she calls for the tow just before she starts writing the ticket.

So many people parking in fire lanes and people forced to use one lane. Every time I see that I pray a firetruck needs the spot and rams the car out of the way or an officer rights a massive ticket and tows the vehicle...

Shes told me many times, there's a lot of crap in the job she hates, but those are the best.
And don't worry, if a fire truck needs that space they likely wont ram it since that can damage the truck. But they don't mind doing things like running hoses through the car.

Oh man, I have an entitled chuck e cheese story! I was there for my nephews birthday which I actually paid for and wasn't planning on attending but ended up having the free time to make it, and I caught the tail end of the party but apparently some random family tried to blend in with the party and even opened gifts for my nephew and the staff eas supposed to regulate that stuff, but guests and my nephews made friends with 2 of the kids while there and we let it happen as it wasn't worth making a scene and making these kids feel bad for their parents failure and at the end were gift bags for the kids but only enough for invited guests of course. There were a total of 3 of these kids and we also found out they were with other kids and parents but were the only ones who joined the party and got pizza and soda and cake etc. There was an extra gift bag because 1 kid didn't attend and my nephew awkwardly offered his own gift bag up as well as the extra one to make the kids feel comfortable but there were 3 total including the 3rd spazz kid that started opening presents who was the younger sibling and that's when I said simply "that's nice of you to offer your gift bag but unfortunately there was only 1 extra on top of that so we can't give you 1 bud as we didn't know you were coming but take an extra piece of cake and as much pizza as you want" the poor kids eyes were welling something fierce, lips were squaring up and Starting to quiver and we all braced for what was inevitably coming and my nephew being the generous and selfless kid he is grabs his brothers gift bag (my older nephew who couldn't have cared less about the stupid gift bags and was happy to let him have it) and just says "oh here Jeremy! This one is yours" but he wanted an iron man one and not captain America but at this point it was that standard irrational little kid logic and I honestly felt bad but seriously had the devil tickling me and I couldn't resist overwhelming laughter but was trying very hard to stop and desperately trying to think of rubbing Vaseline on old people or something so that I would stop my involuntary laughter which was contagious because everyone sort of start to lose control and were letting out these explosive eruptions of laughter but also trying to hold back because of the way he managed to get out "but... I... want... want... iron man..." in between wailing cries. The mere concept that this was his biggest crisis was just so funny! Well apparently his irresponsible and rude mother who seemed to forget she had children entirely while she made trips back and forth outside to smoke cigarettes and talk on the phone decided to storm over and immediately start berating us all without even bothering to see what was the matter and just accuse us of harming her children who were fiercely defending the generous new friends and their family while explaining that Jeremy just was upset the character on his bag that was actually generously given to him by an actually invited kid wasn't the one he wanted and the staff had actually begun to do their job and try to intervene and even told her they'd have to leave if she didn't stop this and that we not only did nothing wrong but we also fed, included, gave up gift bags and I later learned even gave them cards I had bought with play credits for the kids so they could play games too. I originally bought $200 in play cards and spent an extra $250 when I arrived after learning the kids burned through them rather quickly. I had no problem with this as I just wanted them to all have fun and would have given the extra money before but just didn't realize the cost and didn't know it would go as fast as it did. The employee even said that was super nice of me and usually parents are expected to provide their kids with game play money to some degree for parties they attend as the credits provided in party packages usually don't cover enough etc. They were apologizing to me as they felt really bad we would be treated like that and that they failed to regulate party attendance but I understand these are kids themselves and are dealing with immense entitlement and grief daily lol. The mother actually just walked away embarrassed after even its own kids were on our side and I found out they exchanged Gamer I.d. info and became friends in real life etc. Even the spazz is invited to events and they are all really close and the mother has since apologized and smoothed things over and their dad wanted to reimburse their dad but he explained it was his brother in law (me) who paid but wouldn't even accept and was happy to especially since the kids (minus spazz but understandable) were very polite and thankful and they all became good friends. I've seen the mother a few times since then and she apologized directly to me and said she is so embarrassed etc but its all good she said she just was very stressed with personal matters and momma bear instincts combined with wanting to take her problems out on someone mixed to a volatile matter and there's no excuse etc. It's all good now but man I was really seconds away from causing a major scene and really tearing into her as it was so incredible the audacity lol. Happy I didn't as it would have made for awkward times or them never becoming close friends in life afterwards.
Oh, that manager deserves a medal! ... And so does that employee. I've been a Santa for quite a while now so I like to think of myself as fairly good-natured, but I seriously doubt I could have held back on that racist piece of Gam Gam. I'm proud of that son too! That woman must have a long history of that attitude for him to just lose it like that. Those poor kids, and that brilliant little girl with the cell... Man, if I could hug everyone dealing with that attempted groanedma, I would.
I love the karma in the last story, What a smart little girl I felt so bad for them but especially the kids when her son came in and told her off that was awesome she only has yourself to blame no one else, sadly she’ll never see it that way.
The sister actually told people it was her house.?! She probably told them she was letting OP and her husband live there "out of thr generousness of her heart" lol.
That last story clearly that dad is a good parent that daughter is a smart cookie to do that lol
Also I remember when they added kid checks it's very important it was after a small child was snatched, ****ed and killed at one in the late 90's in my area it was horrible and it was also the first case of "Ps" I had ever heard about as a child myself
#2 If it wasn't for the ages and job descriptions of OP this story could be about my sister-in-law. We sold our house and bought a new one and she said we should've given her our old house so we could keep paying the mortgage but she could rent it out and keep that money. She said we were jealous of her and we didn't love her because we wouldn't do this.
Keep in mind she lives in a house rent free that her mother inherited. There is a mortgage and taxes, none of which she pays (recent she started paying the taxes, but she still owes for 2020, and 2021 is due this month). These people do exist.
That last story was the best thank you. I just don't know how people don't just tell karens to shut up and sit down. But I am in my 50's now and do not stand for that crap.
