Thank you for posting this. I found it very difficult to tighten the lower nuts because of the limited space. And have some clunking after a month or so. I need to re-tighten them. Do you have any additional for that?
Honestly, that Ford front end clunked the entire time I owned it I replaced everything. Some things twice I did have to go back in and tighten some of the nuts as well. It's a horrible design. I wish I had better news for you
Ever run into a problem where the link locks into the after market strut assembly that there is to much wiggle room? I'm using the same moog sway bar link.
Yes, I did actually run into that exact problem when I replaced my front stuts. The problem is that the 2010+ struts are different than the 2009 struts. So the strut links are different as well. What you need to do is a 2010+ link conversion. That will allow you to run 2010+ struts (which you probably have installed) with 2010+ links, and use your 2009 strut bar. ruclips.net/video/T2EFTt8nvJA/видео.html
Why on earth would you use a hydraulic jack to hold up the vehicle when you have a jack stand under the control arm??? The jack stand should go under the frame. The floor jack should go under the control arm so you can adjust the tension on the sway bar links. This way if the hydraulic jack fails you don't get caught under the car.
I used the jack to lift the car up. So it made sense to lower the weight onto the jack stand at the control arm to adjust the tension on the link Usually I lower the car onto the jack stand at the inner control arm where it meets the subframe and then leave the jack on the jacking point for extra safety You'll notice I have the tire under the frame as well. So I'm not worried the car will fall on me. If I was going under the car I would have done it totally different.
Thank you for this video! You really took us step by step.
Will Be doing this today. Thanks for tips
How did it go I’ll be doing it tomorrow
@@robakubeno4461 fixed my clunking issues.
Nice work man
Thanks, hope it helps you out
Great and helpful video
Glad you liked it
Do I need to replace both left and right side if only one breaks
Nope. Just replace the broken one

19mm is the same as 3/4” just so you don’t need to buy/have both SAE & Metric tools 🛠️.
If you can only get one, then metric is always the best choice

What's the link going from the shock down
do you mean the sway bar link?
