Acura ILX P0441 Emissions Error

This video shows the fix for an intermittent P0441 error after the gas cap verified to be good. The conditions here were not typical. Normally the solenoid fails open which causes a constant lean condition vacuum leak. In this case the solenoid was working properly most of the time making it tricky to track down.

Ochoa I have the same card 20/20 drive cycle for the EGR it says not complete but I have no check engine light but when I check on board monitors it says purge fail do you think that's my problem for the egr or vvtnot getting complete

If you are having issues with EGR that is a different system relating to burning oil or gasoline vapors from the oil. My issue was the system which pulls vapors from the charcoal canister which catches fuel vapor from the fuel tank/ system. Hope this helps!

Apologies, I haven't had any issues with my egr system. I change the oil at 50% use to avoid any varnish or residue build up. Hope you were able to solve your issues!
