    You've must have been beat after that interior, Chelsea. That was a challenging one. To me, the interior was always harder to do than the exterior. God Bless you.

      Started my Detailing business last Spring! First detail was a Ford 12 passenger van. It took 8 hrs! I got paid $50.00. Lost my ass after buying cleaning and waxing products. Kept watching detailing videos all winter. Now I am down to 2.5 hrs. Interior and exterior. Still need to buy Rigid vacuum cleaner and a extractor for cloth seats. Also a good set of detailing brushes. Input all my money back into the business until all the hard stuff is bought. Now I am charging $ 100.00 and up. Did a Cadillac Deville 32 North star with tan leather interior and Chrome factory rims. Inside and out. First $100.00. Shawn

    Incredible length of time on detail. I think what separates detailers at a basic level is how long one is able to stand and work. Cause i don’t think everybody is capable of working that long

    Wow, great video and better detailing. I was wondering why you never showed up on video your Tornador, now we all now why. Yes, that machine will make it easier to remove dust from carpets and dry in between nooks and crevices when using APC on doors or blow also from seats. There is one Tornador like gun that comes to attach with the air pump and the vacuum at the same time. I use it a lot and saves me a lot of time.
    When I tell customers that detailing a vehicle will take a whole day or day and a half, they don't believe it. Wheels takes me about 4 minutes to decontaminate and thoroughly wash wheel wells, so when I show them it is not just washing them up with a little scrub and be done; then their expectations change. Regular customers know when I tell them it will take me about 4 hours their vehicle they get surprised when I do them in 3 because I used a good product before so I cut some of the time and all now depends on how much dirt is accumulated from past cleaning to following maintenance. New customers think it is something of 3 hours because when they have "detailed" their vehicle took them an hour and/or an hour and a half. That's when I show them that is not Detailing, only cleaning a bit your car.
    By the way, one of the things I didn't see is when you cleaned the headliner. It is worth mentioning when all you had to do is vacuum it or if you had to remove a spot. Sometimes just vacuuming it is all it needed.
    You are great!!!!💪
    Thanks to the lady with the beautiful and clear voice. Xoxo from Puerto Rico 👋🤝👍🇵🇷

    • @attention2detailswchelsea

      Yes or mist carpets with a rinseless wash. Helps reduce static and encapsulate dirt making it easier to vacuum. Do a quick pre-vacuum before misting to get up the big stuff and then mist anything left behind. Makes it easier imo.

    What do you think about a steamer on the interior instead of the vortex tool or do you think you possibly need both?

    • @attention2detailswchelsea
      @attention2detailswchelsea  4 года назад +1

      I only use steam when I have sticky dirt, odor issues or heavy grease stains. Steam can stain plastics from splatter so I don't use my steamer much unless it's on seat tracks and air vents.

    Great video. Curious where you got that short gray crevice end? Usually they're long. I have the same vac and hose. Do you need the adapter for the Buff Brite Fur crevice tool or will it fit on the end of the orange hose adapter thatvcomes with the hose? Thanks

    • @attention2detailswchelsea

      That's a crevice attachment that actually was from a wet dry vac years ago. Might have even been from my household vacuum. And yes I did have to buy the adapter for the Fur eel brush. I posted the link in the description
