    One thing that I've started using for very dirty windshields is a good ipa. I use the ipa to get the heavy stuff off then I use stoners glass cleaner in a aerosol for the final cleaning. But don't use ipa or windex on window tint

    • @6mtzhp55
      @6mtzhp55 Год назад

      Yep a great strategy. I would add a dry microfiber wipe before the IPA, since it can pick up some of the heavy oils without bringing them into solution with the alcohol and smearing them around.

    Good job! I used an air compressor with a tornador to get the carpet easy to vacuum. My tornador most of the time replace my brushes for faster and easier cleaning. I also put interior dressing in my tornador to dress the hard plastic, door panels etc.. for a faster and more thorough matte finish after the pre cleaning. It an good investment to have one of those and very versatile.

    Great results, Chelsea, and a great showcase of the Shine Supply products! They all did the job well! Quick question. It looked like the vehicle had rubber mats. What if anything did you put on them after cleaning them? Do you think Cruise might work for this, or would it potentially make them too slick?

      Lipstick is mainly oil based so you could try something like light steam, dawn dish soap watered down with a touch of degreaser in it and bonnet cleaning with microfiber pad and a da. Blot after with a microfiber. But the dye may have stained it being there for so long or set in with whatever methods they tried

    Nice turn around that interior looked great. Have a concern about using the blower around electronics like the switches and such would that not force the moisture into the area you don't want to get wet?

    • @attention2detailswchelsea
      @attention2detailswchelsea  Год назад +1

      It can so that’s why you want to keep the moisture levels around those areas at a minimum but sometimes you have to use cleaner regardless to remove the dirt and stains. I first wipe with a microfiber and whatever small amounts left behind normally are safe.

    I cleaned seats like that a month ago it took forever to clean them…any tips besides the scrub ninja and magic eraser? Didn’t somebody make like a clay bar sort of thing for cleaning leather seats or is that comparable to the scrub ninja

    • @attention2detailswchelsea
      @attention2detailswchelsea  Год назад +1

      The scrub ninja is better imo but these just did not want to release the dirt. Superior Products leather cleaner would probably be the more/most aggressive cleaner and would work well on seats these bad but you also run the risk of the cleaner being TOO aggressive if the leather is in rough shape

    • @kashmulatx

      Autofiber has a bigger Scrub Ninja you can use for leather seats. It's called Interior Scrubbing Mitt. You can cover more area when cleaning leather seats.

    I have used the Bissel Spot Clean for a while, and the biggest advantage is, no doubt, it is so easy to fill up, use and especially to clean after use! I have a big Kärcher, and the job to clean it after use is ... a job on itself...

    What are your thoughts on using a steamer for the leather areas of a vehicle? You got great results on that seat but I wonder if a steamer would be faster? What was your approximate start to finish time on this interior?

    • @attention2detailswchelsea
      @attention2detailswchelsea  Год назад +1

      Steam may have helped but can also damage leather so I rarely use mine as it’s been known to cause staining or issues for those that don’t know how to use it properly. These seats just didn’t want to release their dirt. I did use superior product leather cleaner on some more aggressive stains and it melted the dirt right off but it can also start to remove the dye if the seats are deteriorated So again I suggestion caution when using it if you don’t know how to use it

    • @attention2detailswchelsea
      @attention2detailswchelsea  Год назад +1

      And approximate time was probably 4 hrs? I didn’t time myself.
