Nice video as always. I really enjoy looking at the foliage in your background when you’re outside. How about doing a walk-around with your camera someday and show us the various plants and trees you have going. I know you did this a couple years back.
We have a big yard....almost 2 acres. I could keep up with it when I was 35. At 67, it's much harder! I spent yesterday afternoon working in one section of it and I'm worn out this morning. :) Maybe I could show a section a section of it at a time.
Thank you for the video. I used Day Timers for years. I really hated how my fountain pens bled thru, so I could not use them and had to use ball point which I did not care for. I agree with all of your points. Now, like you, I use a Hobinichi Cousin and a Hobinichi Weeks Mega. Why two? Well, I own a consulting business and find that it is less intimidating to my clients if I walk into a meeting with a smaller planner. It is also easier to slip the Weeks into my satchel. After my meeting, I then transfer my notes from the Weeks to the Cousin, along with all of my action points, which serves as a great review and allows me to plan the client's project more efficiently. I have tried using laptops in those meetings, but I find I spend more time typing into the computer than engaging with the client. Sometimes analog is much more effective.
I'll have to look at the Weeks Mega. I don't effectively use all of the Cousin though. There's a section after the monthly planner, I believe that I haven't figured out what it's good for...:) I used to use it for health related records, but that didn't stick. I use the Cousin mainly for work purposes, so I may go to another format when retired. I use one book just for recording memorable family/personal events.
Thanks for your comments. My Cousin planner is something I carry with me in my backpack. I use it throughout the day...primarily for work. I'll try to do another video with more detail about how I use it.
Yvonne and I used to use a physical daily planner, but we do everything with iPhones now. I’d prefer not to type my notes, but it’s other features (alarms, and sharing with other devices) outweigh the nuisance of a virtual keyboard. Enjoy the 4th of July! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I have a Galaxy Note which comes with a built in stylus, which makes it handy for handwritten notes on the go. I still prefer pen and paper because I feel like the phone is too small for journaling or other lengthy writing needs. Perfect for to do lists or if I have nothing else available, plus I have a calendar app to put in my appointments and set alarms so I don't miss them
I would love to have a channel just about pens, ink and stationery. I'm not sure if I'm up to multiple channels though. My problem is that most of my subscribers are into prepping, not pens.
Was going to watch your video until it started off with hate. I’m guessing you also claim religion as the basis-the God I know loves all regardless. I’ll never watch another video of yours again.
Thanks for commenting Elizabeth. I welcome the opportunity to respond. My comment was not said out of hate. It was just a statement of fact.....XX & XY's. I treat everyone as an individual and I wish people who are filled with hatred would do likewise. For some reason, you bring up religion....possibly another hot button issue of yours. I hope you'll be more patient and loving to the next youtuber you stumble upon. My God is.

Great video! I would love to see how you use your Hobonichi Cousin …. More planner videos please - on the Cousin.

I've been tempted to go all in on Alexa. She might do everything that I use a planner for. She does everything I ask and never complains.
By the way, I'm trying to FINALLY take the Beretta to the range for a shooting video. If I'm lucky, maybe I can do it in the next week or two.
@@ima4ster I’ll stay tuned for that!

As usual! You've taken the place of MyHollowpoint. He used to be first.....that was long ago. Happy 4th!

Great review, I am there with you that I still only recognize M & F. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and opiinions!
I forgot that I made that remark. Now I'll have to go back and rewatch it myself to see what I said!
