I started using your ADHD planner style (I have ADHD myself) and it is so helpful! I can't explain why it works, but it does. I've also been adding in tasks I do that aren't on the list and marking a "D" in the column to indicate that they are tasks that I became distracted with. I'm so glad you shared it!
Me too! I've (obviously I suppose) been struggling with overwhelm when I have many tasks and my brain shuts down trying to prioritize. This method is working quite well for me. 😄 Happy it's working for you too! I also immediately clicked this video when I saw that the ADHD task aid planner was featured again. It's so satisfying to look at!
I am very interested in trying this out. My A6 hobonichi order comes in Tuesday including memo books. I’m thinking the memo books will be perfect for this. What a great idea, thanks so much!
I am so glad you decided to share your ADHD planner again! I do something very similar, but never thought of turning the notebook sideways, which I think is brilliant, since going to the next page creates an odd glitch for me…an interruption of some sort…so I always felt like I needed to do my running list in a large notebook. Seeing your journal felt liberating, and I got a small journal and am turning that baby sideways starting tomorrow! Thanks for making ADHD and open discussion and putting things that work for you out there! It is so so so appreciated!!!
Gosh your ADHD planner has been such a life saver at work! I also have ADHD and I really try not to add too much of my job stuff to my Hobonichi since it can make me quite frustrated to dedicate so much space in it to work rants when I’m having a lot of trouble with my focus . I have been using your method for the past week and it was the perfect solution. Keeps me on track without overcrowding my Hobonichi which is meant to be more for personal things. Thank you so much for sharing!
Helen it makes me so happy to see you talking about your adhd planner !!! When i used a hononichi cousin my weekly pages were exactly what you use your adhd planner for! I know it’s a struggle to deal with this.. but im so proud of you for opening up about it and remember you’re never alone ❤
thanks for sharing your planner setup! it's super helpful to see how you organize your days, especially with ADHD in mind. repetition can really help reinforce tasks, so that makes total sense. looking forward to seeing more tips! have a great day, too! 😊✨
Lol as one who does not know how to ride a bike and worse cant swim but loves penguins I appreciate all you know how to do instead, absolutely amazing!
Ahhh, thank you so much for this! I love seeing your process (and lusting over your pens/ink) because it all so empowering and inspirational. Thank you for being you, Helen! My Sundays are always so much brighter when I see your videos. 🧡 Hope you have a wonderful day and that everything works out with Etsy 🤞🏻 and your stress levels. Big hugs and love to you! 😘
Thank you for sharing this; it is great to see such a detailed example of how you plan throughout the day! I really enjoyed it, and you are making a HUGE DIFFERENCE, thanks for the help! 🤗🎉
I love this ADHD planner idea. I'm always scatterbrained and this could hone me in. Also, thanks for posting this. I might need to get more into planning.
Very random comment, but on one of your videos you show a chocolate chip cookie recipe from one of your planners (unsure of which video it was from) and i made it and it was so good! Me and my sister are always competing to see who can make the best and find the best chocolate chip cookie recipes and I think I have won this round lol, so thank you!
I am grateful you’re speaking about your ADHD in your planners. I may have missed it, but can you please share where your daily prompts are coming from? Thank you.
Hi, Helen! Thank you for sharing your processes for using the H. Cousin for planning! ❤ I find it helpful for keeping my focus for my processes, and inspiring!
I don’t know if this idea has reached you already or if you already thought of it and it didn’t work, but what about putting your stickers in some sort of album-type book or like a small binder with clear folder sheets you can put your stickers in. Then use tabs to organize the stickers by group. I feel that way it would be easier to flip through your stickers and find what you’re looking for.
I am using the autumn laptop stickers right now too. They are so perfect 🥰 What are you studying? Love your little Twitch doodle. Thank you for the video.
Excited about new sizes of storage envelopes and can’t wait for release of 2025 sticker kits ❣️❣️❣️❤jenean (who is budgeting and planning on the purchase rather than charging 😆)
I finally moved from Moleskine to Hobonichi Tech Avec. I have enjoyed it - however, the blank space in my weekly spread have really shamed and embarrassed me. I am thinking about moving to a monthly planner with blank pages ij the back. Loved used the techo avec for daily paintings tho!
I am trying to be better at planning my days off, rather than them just passing and I have no idea what I have done. I love to see how you plan your days. Also, where do you get your prompts from? You may have said it in the past but I would love to start using that in journaling.
i have many small notebooks laying around so i'm gonna try your adhd planning method. I'm in my last semester of university and i only have one project that i have to do to graduate and my adhd is killing me because i have to do everything on my own and i really can't. Every method i've tried to plan myself better hasn't worked. I'm on medication but i really feel like the dose is not enough. Sadly I can't afford like a... private consultation?... (i don't know how to say it in english, sorry haha). i'm currently being treated by the public health system and it's awful because between every consultation with my psychatrist is every two months, and sometimes even further away because all his schedule for the month is full. So i'm gonna try this method and see if it also works for me, and it makes me be able to at least do two things everyday
This may be weird commenting on an older video, but I've been fixated on getting my first Hobonichi Cousin as I want to move away from bullet journaling in regards to the time consuming monthly/weekly set-ups.. but I have a few questions and concerns about the Hobonichi that make me hesitate trying it out; - I heard the 2025 release has bleed through and more ghosting issues, is this true? - How are you able to write and use color and have zero ghosting? Will I be unable to use my Crayola's and Stabilo markers in a Hobonichi? What about my Jetstream ballpoint pen 0.5?? ;w; - Is it possible to showcase the pages of the 2025 release? I'm curious where the blank pages are located before my brain starts racking changes and ideas how to implement the things I use in my bullet journal to the Hobonichi
Hello, new sub here ❤ Love your content and shop! Humble request - where did you get the pocket ADHD planner from exactly? I can’t quite seem to find it online just from the names you provided, and I couldn’t catch the name on the back. I’ve been looking for a journal just like this 😮
The journalling promos you have are so insightful. Is it a list you made yourself? Are they available online somewhere? I’d love to use them in my own journalling as finding prompts that really work can be hard!

Thank you for your videos. Would you please post a link of your exact planner plus the small notebook? I tried going to the Hobonichi website and finding it but its so confusing and i can't tell which is the exact one. Much appreciate it. Thank you.
Hello, i like your journaling, I noticed that the notebook youre usung has thick paper, as the ink doesnt bleed through or show on the next page.. is that correct. Cheers😊
Hello! To the workshops? Attendees do not have to bring anything, but I would advise bringing your personal journal/planner and your favourite pen(s) if you have any!

I was wondering what happened to your Etsy shop! Hope you can reopen soon! I’ve decided the way to go with your merchandise is Etsy bc I’m an impatient person (Moon in Aries) and I can’t wait for pre-orders- 3 months is a lifetime to my brain. Plus I’m old. lol
