I am so sorry! LOL! I forgot! I need to make notes when I do this to remind me:) My fave right now is the EC daily duo because of the changes they just made. I am actually using it today!
I always want to get a daily planner, but the best thing I have found for me is a notebook to list out whatever for crossing out later. So I get pretty notebooks instead and drool over the daily planners from afar.
I am using the new sprouted daily after having used the weekly plus daily post it’s for years. It’s honestly so perfect for my needs. Breaking the year down to 6 months allows me to have a fresh start and leave those undone projects and checkboxes behind to focus my energy for rest of year. I realized I only really care to reflect on my journal where it’s all in one place so this helps me not feel guilty over not saving it forever but allows me to save the reflections which is really what matters to me!
I got the sprouted planner the 1 book for July-Dec and I’m really excited and hopeful to see how it works for me! I’m mainly a weekly planner I MUST have a horizontal weekly “dashboard” so this having that and the monthly/daily and her prompts- all of the intentionality is just so beautiful! Also happy to support a small woman owned business and her story is very close to my heart!
Don’t sleep on the Updated 2024 Sprouted Planner. The coil is DIVINE! 👌 I had to abandon it before bc I just can’t handle o ring coils at all. Her paper, her layouts, the size! I ordered it in early July and moved right in. Feel guilty for ditching my EC Daily Duo but I am already getting more done after using the Sprouted Planner a couple days! I can’t wait for next year! Just wish the coils were compatible with EC so I could add some of my EC accessories…gah that would be amazing! 😜 (Even the thicker cover of SP is what I was missing, makes it much easier to use and write when using on uneven surfaces )
Jenna! Thank you so much. I am thrilled you are loving your Daily Sprouted Planner! 🙌 I'll keep working on getting those coils compatible. I appreciate YOU and this comment very much.
Few years ago I was a manager at small retail and I only had a few employees but I used that plum paper you show and tracked schedule of the employees in it, big tasks for the day, notes etc worked well and I had the meeting and notes added to work on projects to improve the store - worked really well
Great comparison. I think the best dailies right now are either erin condren or sprouted. I'm personally in a hobonichi a6 but maybe I'll try the sprouted next year.
Great video Amanda-thanks for putting it together for us . I’m sticking to what works for me-a weekly EC Horozontal calendar year planner. So my new planner will start Jan 1.
Wonderful video Amanda! Great comparisons.. I’m a daily user and have jumped around a lot, I’m trying for 2025 daily Hemlock and Oak! I fell in love with the ethos and quality especially the paper.. and love the simplicity so I can do what I want with the layout and any deco etc I also do PP scripting for daily planning.. ❤ thanks again! 😊✨
I’m also a big fan of the daily sprouted planner! I switched to it last year and plan to buy it again for next year. Thank you for the thorough review of the other options but I’m going to be a sprouted planner girl again. ❤ I need the 5am to 10 pm time slots due to my hubby’s work schedule occasionally going until 10 pm. I’m also in love with the weekly dashboard since it has room to put my husband’s work schedule each day along with my menu plan (I don’t cook dinner if he’s working until 10 so this really helps my menu planning. )
Hi, Amanda! Love, love, LOVE this video!!! Currently, I have the new EC Daily Duo and also the On-The-Go folio daily bound (4 quarterly for the year). They are the only ones I seem to stick with for very long. Taking the folio daily on my next trip which should prove handy for keeping trip plans and memories.
Very comprehensive overview. TY. I had a hobonichi a6 in 2023 and loved it. This year tried a different planner, but bc the hobonichi is so magical I'm thinking about going back for 2025.
Thank you for a very thorough video! I’ve used the Erin Condren daily duo, but it was too much space on the page for me. I don’t journal. I love the idea of having a page per day, but honestly, I just use a notebook for my ongoing list and mark things off .
I've used a blank notebook for my daily list so much! I have a whole video of all my favorite notebooks for that purpose: ruclips.net/video/SBEtaMib2vo/видео.html
Love this video, excellent job as always, Amanda. Currently, I have taken a Decorably Makit Happen Pastel page and scanned it so I could print it on Tomoe River paper and use it, and Passion Planner for monthly weekly also on TRP. I've bound it with my own binding coils that are NOT that awful heavy coil and much thinner, maybe 75 pages total, plus it's thin paper. 😉 Much, much better for me at this time. I've been watching, love the planner funk and Passion Planner and Mid-year stack vids too! Thank you (and Pierce) for all your hard work!
Your videos are amazing 🤩, as always, this one included and timely too. I am currently using an A5 Bullet Journal, kinda sorta decorated myself and kinda sorta done on the days I felt like doing that. As you can by the tone of that sentence it isn’t exactly working for me? 😂 I am going to think about the Sprouted, I can get an uncoiled version for the 2nd half of 2024 at a great price and punch it myself! If I am still thinking about it tomorrow I will come back and use your link and grab it. It will be a great way to find out if I am really a daily planner, if I actually have enough going on in my life to feel the need for one? And if it doesn’t work out I can always use the paper to junk journal? And sorry….I kinda sorta fell asleep 3 times, I rewatched it several times, it isn’t you, it is for sure me, I didn’t sleep well last night. Your voice is soothing! 🤷🏼♀️ Thank you for another great video! 💕
Thanks for sharing where you are right now with daily planning;) I understand the falling asleep;) LOl:) Trying Sprouted unpunched sounds like a great option for you;)
I needed this video! I’m turning towards weekly planning with starting up college again in the fall. I just ordered a passion planner mid year weekly and I’ll be starting EC academic planner in august
Thank you! Exactly what I needed to see. I keep trying to force myself in a Hobo Cousin but am never really happy. I ❤️ ❤️ the paper but the grid size is why it never really works for me; I write every other line and I don’t really like that. It looks sloppy to me. I can’t use the vertical weekly pages because I can’t write that small so I draw a horizontal layout over them. I was watching Plan Sarah Plan move in video and the lighting struck. With weekly planning pages and since I work from home now I can use those huge dailies and I may reach planner peace. The reason I used Cousin for 5 years or more is the weekly and daily layouts in one book This was what I needed to see to see to help with deciding and I think it will be Erin Condren I’m going to go watch your other video on it though before I spend money. The reason I lean that way is the note pages through out.
Hobonichi is all in one planner, but I also buy a budget planner from The Budget Mom. I used to use Hobonichi day-free planner for budgeting, but when I had emergency surgery, my husband got very sick, I didn’t have the time to make the templates.
I’m not a daily planner, but I love this video! It’s cool to see all these layouts. Actually I do use a semi daily planner for a journal: moon phase studios. It’s more of a guided journal though.
This is so helpful. I'm looking for the best daily planner. I've used EC for a few years and Passion Planner for a couple, and Go Getter Girl , A5 inserts. But I am looking for me and I me have to go to all the individual videos and do pros and cons, Because I want then all 😆
I hear ya! You've used a lot of good ones:) I still have my Top 5 Daily Planners for 2025 video coming up in a few weeks;) So stay tuned for that one;)
This was such a helpful video! I have the Sprouted at the moment, but ended up not using it much. I'm going to try using the second half for work when I change jobs soon.
I’m not using a daily planner now, but my two favorites are the a5 Daily Duo and Simplified. I love different things about both of them, so it would be hard for me to say which one is my favorite.
Great idea to compare the planners that way! Currently still doing ok with my rings. Contemplating all of the things for next Jan. of '25 though. Daily vs weekly and a journal is still a big decision for me.
What a great comparison. I'm a Colibri planner right now, love their paper and all the extras. But I keep dithering with going to a hobonichi, which is like the complete opposite. Ah the joys of being a planner fan.
I am using the EC DD as my daily and I love it. I have also used the Cultivate What Matters daily which I liked. But I am a sucker for a pretty aesthetic so the EC wins out. 😂 I am really interested in checking out both the H & O and the Cousin as faith planners for next year. I am currently using a daily Prayerful Planner for faith planing but want to try something new for 2025.
I am a sucker for EC too:) So much beauty in that planner! Both of those would be great faith Planners...it really depends on which paper you would enjoy more;) Love hearing what you are in now;)
I really like the format of the 5 second journal by Mel. I seem to need the 2 page spread. But I think if it was letter size on one page it would be enough. I hope I can make my own version when I’m done with it. But I think it’s affordable enough to buy again. :)
Just recently ordered an older version B6 size hobonichi-like planner (aura estelle) to start playing around in. I want to see what the paper is like because I've never experienced it before. Do you have any videos comparing the Tomoe River Paper planners? I'm trying to get my bearings in that world because I love the thought of something so small with so many pages. I've always done spiral bound (EC/Agendio) and TMR is SO different.
I haven't tried Aura Estelle yet! I would love to review their planners- they have so many options:) The only Tomoe River Paper I've tried is Hobonichi...I've the 3 main Hobonichi planners...and I have a full playlist of them:) Have fun with your new purchase:)
This is great Amanda!! I LOVE your videos! Have you ever heard of the Dailee planner by Sophia Lee? Would you consider doing a review of that one? I've been eyeing it and there aren't a lot of videos out there about it.
Did you say in the beginning of the video you would tell us what your pick is out of the 11 planners at the end of the video (see 42 seconds in haha!)?? I have tried literally every single one of these planners and for me it comes down to the EC DD in A5 and the H & O daily. I am bouncing between the two. EC has the great paper, colors, covers, and the Sunday start I prefer. H & O is elegant, has great paper and the entire year is in one book. H & O is offering a daily duo option for 2025 and new flex covers so their chunky daily will be slimmer and lighter. Thanks for the terrific comparsions!
I am sorry if I didn't share my personal fave at the end! LOL! I would say right now it's the Daily Duo in 7x9 with the changes they made this year;) I hear ya on why you love both of those;) And I think the new option for H&O in 2025 will be amazing!
Simplified has been a favorite before this new batch, but the hard cover is not portable at all. I wish they'd have a soft cover option in the pretty covers.
There are other dailies with the half hour....Sprouted, Cultivate what matters, Passion planner, hemlock, plum paper, monk manual- those are just a few off the top of my head;)
I don’t care for the spiral bindings, those rings get in the way and my hand writing is bad enough without them in the way. Using the Hobonichi now, and the small spacing and bleed through are issues for me. Not sure where 2025 will lead me.
Am I the only person who wants my weekly to have a Sunday start date? Even the "undated planners" seem to populate the Day (or Initial) of the Week listed even though there is no date number. Not sure if you've tried Scribbles that Matter, but I used those for years. In 2023, they started putting the M,T,W,T,F,S,S for the weekly. :(

I hope you find what will serve you best and bring joy for next year:) Hemlock and Oak might be one to look at based on what you said;)
Thanks!
Of course, I’m so glad you enjoyed the video-and thank you so much for your support!
I’m in the EC daily duo and finding the book itself huge and heavy. I won’t stay w it. 😮
I am sorry you aren't liking that! I don't carry my planner out of the house...so I personally love that one;)
I was really surprised how much difference adding the new pages made! I think they made it too big.
Me too.
I get you! Off the top of my head, Passion Planner, Commit 30, and Laurel Denise all offer Sunday start options 😊
@@AmandasFavorites Thanks for the suggestions!!!
Thank you❣️
You’re welcome 😊

The Hemlock & Oak Daily is the best!
I agree it's a great planner! And they have a new option on it for 2025! Thanks for watching and sharing your fave;)
I’m that person too! 😂
We can all relate! We have to window shop online and it's not easy:)
I don't know why they do a pocket daily that's just a moleskine ripoff with those UGH lined !! 😭😭 every other planner has grids!!
No Agendio😂
I haven't had an Agendio to review in years. I do have an older review on here from a years back;)
