I used your link to access the site. Was going to get the weekly on sale (Black $13.50) but their discount code box would not accept the link. Does it not work with sales?
I’m sure you’re not surprised to hear that I am back in my Passion Planner. 😂 The pages aren’t pretty, but it is just so functional! It’s the planner I’ve been in the most this year, and every time I leave it I end up missing it and go back. I can fit everything I need for my day, week, month, and year into one book, and that is pretty hard to beat. I also love that it is book bound, and that my weekly lists all fit with room to spare right on my weekly page. Now that I’ve settled back into it and livened up the pages with color, stickers, and washi, I can see myself being in it for awhile.
I love my passion planner! I use the top box for meals and weather. I draw a line with mild liner across the last 3 hours and make a space for my top 3 for the day, since I never have anything going on past 8pm. I glue in their free habit tracker printable in the space of infinite possibility but I print the smallest one so I have room still for stickers. I make it pretty with washi and mild liners so the colors don’t bother me one bit. It just works for me!💕
I love passion planner, been using it this year in a different way, I use the schedule for mon-fri, and I add my tasks to sat-sun. So I have the best of both worlds. I just wish they would use a lighter ink, sometimes it's just too much.
Excellent video!!!! Thank you so much! I have used a PP for a short amount of time. I have several undated on my shelf waiting to be used. lol I think they are an awesome company. I think the PP is an excellent design for planning and organization. I love the paper quality, the bound book, the elastic around the book, etc. etc. The issue that makes me stop using the PP is I love to decorative plan. There is A LOT of grey and black going on everywhere in the PP's. I do try and white out, use my washi to cover up, etc. It just makes it hard. Plus, my life is kinda boring. haha I don't necessarily need to be that organized. 😊 But I want to use it! I could try again. Who knows.
I always love watching your videos. I am sure glad there are so many planners out there for everyone to find one that fits their style that will work the best for them. I did go and look at their daily to see if it would work in my current rings planner in January but they still have the lines that are too dark and some boxes that don't make sense for me. I am going to stick with using what I have in there now through December and will see what happens after that.
Thank you so much for those kind words:) I do love their daily...even with all the labeled boxes which I normally don't love for me...that daily review is coming soonish;)
I have the medium academic Monday start in Maroon gilded magic. Loving setting it up for July. It’s my favorite planner and I use it as my everyday carry.
After finally finding planner peace...and then that planner being discontinued...I've returned to Passion Planner. Would love to know how you use it for managing parenting/kid schedules and what not--if there are printables you use, etx.
I don't use any extra printables. I only have one 16 year old left at home. He's not in any sports or anything that gives a super complicated schedule. But Passion planner does have a lot of free printables. Hopefully they have something that might help you out! Good luck!
My favorite planner and the only brand I use. I use the weekly planner for work and personal scheduling. I use a daily planner to write out my lesson plans and anything related to instruction for the designated day (I’m a college professor). In that capacity, it’s really more of a diary and notebook to guide me through my teaching for the day. I keep it in class and go through my checklist, reminders, and notes as I teach.
I think the Passion Planner that I have is the mid-size one bigger than an A5 for sure. It has a rose gold cover. I need to get it out. You’ve inspired me to use it again.
I grabbed a Passion Planner when they had their PI $3.14 sale in March. I am really liking it! I got the one like the red one you showed but in a medium green. It’s beautiful!
I used a large Passion Planner a couple of years ago. Thank you for the information about the boxes at the bottom. I did not use the boxes as they had been designed. 😂 After testing a few planners, I think the layout of Passion Planner is best for me at this time and will be getting a medium next time. The black & gray color scheme was a challenge, though.
Love the messy planner 😍 I am always in my head about how crazy my planner looks that is why I walked away from passion planner. I got one for free when they first started because my employer brought a bunch for the clients and I loved it but my messiness and my inconsistency made me disappointed so I stopped. Thank you for sharing I might go back to passion planner in the new year
I actually grabbed my planner and used the measuring ruler app on my phone. It’s definitely the medium size and it’s gold, not rose gold like I previously thought hahahaha
As always a great RUclips Amanda, thank you. Due to my current study of Deep Work and time blocking by Carl Newport, after watching this show I'm a new convert to PP. I love the (EC i think) concept of weekly and daily in one and while watching this show had a brain wave 🎉 i could make my own 6 month weekly with daily pages for weekends and school holidays from the free PP downloads, for home. Current PP online sale is great but the OS shipping and exchange rates stop me 😢 hence the diy PP
I got a small to try out this planner, happy with it already. I think I will get a medium for the 2025. I also ordered a 12 Perfect Planner to compare per your suggestion. Thank you for your support.
I know a lot of shops sell date stickers. Planner Kate & HancanPlan are 2 sticker shops I know of- not sure if they make specific ones to fit Passion Planner. I know you can also get simple date stickers off Amazon.
I found a weekly planner at Costco a few years ago. Bought it again last year. Am in and out of it but overall its quite functional. Sometimes just not enough room for all my todos! Will poat the brand if i think if it
I just did a full weekly passion planner review for the 24-25 academic year. I don't see myself buying the new 2025 covers for another review so close. But who knows...maybe I will in the beginning of 2025. I have to use my own passion planner points to purchase these planners. Thanks for asking!
Amanda - thank you so much for this review! I have a question for you - would you be willing to share why you use a separate monthly calendar rather than the one included in the Passion Planner? I ask because I have a monthly that has lines with a Sunday start which I absolutely love and am wondering what challenges you faced using two different planners. Thanks for all you do for our community!
Hey Holly:) I have shared more about this in my quarterly stack videos where I share my personal planning. But basically I always worked off a wall calendar for years. It became cumberson to pull the calendar off the wall and flip to work in it. So I tried the Ashley Shelly notebook monthly probably about 6 years ago..and it is so much easier than my wall calendar yet serves me the same. I need a monthly guide with all the big stuff in front of me at all times. I don't like to flip and rarely see my my monthly schedual. So the Ashley Shelly monthly notebook planner sits on my desk on an acrylic easel and is just perfect for me. I need to see my monthly, weekly, & daily all at once at my desk without flipping. Since mine stays at my desk all the time that works for me. I have a video called "3 views" that explains this more in depth:)
@@AmandasFavorites Thanks so much! I work the same way - hate flipping through a yearly to find a specific month PLUS a Sunday start on the monthly with a Mon start on the weekly is perfect for how my brain works!
I love the planner, but do they make one just like this but goes from Jan.-Dec. of the same year? I just really do not like it broken up like this; so much so that it would keep me from purchasing one. However, if they come up with one for a single calendar year exactly like this, I would purchase it without hesitation.
Yes, they do make the Calendar year option...it will launch in the fall- my guess is by October. if you want to be notified of their launch then sign up for their newsletter and you won't miss it:) I also have a link for 10% OFF every purchase there- in my video description:)
I have two issues with this planner. First, the black color is too harsh for me; I prefer lighter colors and more variety. Second, I don't like the timer. I use Google Calendar for work and don't need my personal planner to have a timestamp. I certainly like the format at the bottom of this planner. Highlighting the weekend is such a good idea-I learned that from you and love it.
I understand that the B&W is just too much a deal breaker for some people;) And if you don't use the times I get why you would want a cleaner page without them. Yay for highlighting the weekend!
I have the academic year, medium, Monday start, in the beautiful botanical print (just like yours) and look forward to using it starting July 1st!! I have added some stickers for color. I have been in a Hobonichi Cousin for a few years and will probably dual plan for a while to wean myself off the Hobonichi because I love the idea of supporting a company that gives back as Passion Planner does. Your reviews are the best Amanda. Thank you!
I’m a fountain pen user. I feel kind of limited to the hobonichi, does anyone know how this paper does with fountain pens? I’m always trying to find new planners. EC is too textured/absorbent now that I mainly use FP so anything more smooth
I do have a fountain pen- but I have lost it in the house somewhere! If I find it soon I will start testing with it in all my videos again. Hopefully someone can chime in on this for you;) Since Passion Planner has no tooth (texture) to the paper I am thinking it might work well with fountain pen?!
I downloaded the free planner and printed it on Tomoe River S paper just so I could use my FPs 😁. Works really well. I also have an actual undated daily and did a pen test with my specialty FP inks, and it shows all the shimmer and sheen.
My issue with PP is their lack of versatility. For years I've wanted to enjoy one but not everyone plans weekly with hourly slots. This limits people who (1) write much bigger than the small space provided and (2) don't need to see things but an hour but rather just the day of the week. I think if PP got with the updates like many other companies or preferably like digital planner companies they would THRIVE!

I love hearing how well it works for you! Thanks for sharing how you draw your line for top 3 and what you use the top box for;)
Thank you so much for a very detailed and thoughtful walk through video about Passion planner. ❤ I am about to change my happy planner for this one!
Yay! enjoy the change;)
I love my large passion planner. I've used them for 3 years now. I appreciate all the blank pages in the back, so useful. Great planner 😊
Wonderful!
Love this so much, it was so informative. My first passion planner order should be arriving within the next few days, so excited ☺️
Exciting! Trying a planner for the first time is so fun:) I am glad this was helpful!

Your last few lines made me LOL! Love the humor Angie:) And I understand about the black and white and grayscale page.
I’ve been using the medium Passion Planner for work for the last 4 years and love how useful it is.
It really is!
It really is a workhorse!

Thanks for sharing❤ Every year I print passion planner’s academic pdf for my 17 yo. This year he will go to college so might buy him an actual one. ❤
I love that you have taken advantage of their free PDF! Such a wonderful gift! And best of luck with his first semester of college;)

This appears to be a very very good planner. I want to review this again!❤

wish they had a horizontal layout.
I would love to see them do that! But I am not sure if that is in the cards for Passion Planner?! Thanks for chiming in!
Strongly considering getting a 2025 passion planner! Can you review the new covers ?? I’m debating, sunflower yellow, expresso brown or twilight teal

How do I get a dated passion planner. I have tried to contact the company but no one answers?
They don’t sell dated daily planners-but they do sell dated weeklies 😊
I printed out the free weekly to try - and now I’m depressed at how lil time we are allowed outside of work to actually live life 😑
