    So if slowing down can cause traffic jams, why do they have lower speed limits when there is heavy traffic on the motorways? Surely they should up the limit to 100 so that everyone can breeze through, rather than bunching up and going slower?

    Maths! (E=ˠM˳C²)∞ the Lorentz contraction of space and time is between the energy and mass. The greater the energy the greater the contraction of space and the slower time will run. Mass will increase relative to this and each ref-frame can be seen as a vortex in space formed by the rate that time flows. C² is light radiating out in all directions forming a sphere that can be squared to form the future probability. The brackets represent the boundary condition of the ref-frame within infinity

    Barcelona style is boring, having possession of the ball through out most of the game doesn't mean they play beautiful football all the time. Plus that rule of keep on passing and being patient only works beautifully if the the opponent was unintelligent enough to fall into that trap and move around Barcelona players and give them the gap they need, other opponents can just give a solid defensive performance and stick to their position giving Barcelona no gap at all, then take advantages of counter attacks, and that's how the game would be more likely to be boring and end up with a draw.

    • @squirrelspown
      @squirrelspown 9 лет назад +2

      I'll take a draw over a loss any day.
      This is also only the first evolution of the strategy. Like all strategy, there must be offensive and defensive variations.

  • @rjeffrey743

    The "Avalanche Effect" has nothing to do with what causes the first car in the sequence to decelerate, because one car's deceleration does not constitute a "jam." It still holds true.

  • @vasilicabuculut
    @vasilicabuculut 11 лет назад

    If you have no incentive to guess correctly this means other people don't either. You will say 100trillion billion million sweets and maybe another would say -100trillion billion million. Obviously the experiment is made with people that actually do want to guess right, but the no-incentive experiment might be interesting too.

    It sounds as if Barcelona has invented a new sport, completely consistent with the rules of football but rejecting many of its traditions, and a team playing the new sport tends to beat teams that are playing the old sport.

    The defending philosophy is not true, Barcelona defend with a zone-based defence at the back and a more man marking system in the midfield. Their tactic is to force opposition attackers back by dropping the deep holding midfielder usually Busquets or Song to enable time for the further players to press either Iniesta, Fabregas, Xavi, Messi. If the opposition player is wide then the emphasis is placed on Barcelona's winger to pull back and negate the backwards option to strand the player.

    If any team defended like that they would get destroyed, all the player would have to do is chip the ball over the surrounding Barca players to one of his teammates and he can go one on one practically because everyone is way out of position!

      Well, guess what, the word "soccer" comes from the England anyway. It comes from the word "Association" as in "Association Football". It means the same goddamn thing as "Football". The UK just made it a big issue because the High Class made the Working Class use "soccer" in the 70's, and they didn't like being told to use the "Queen's English".

    Accelerating and decelerating because the car in front is doing the same doesn't cause traffic Jams. This is a prime example of the logical fallacy known as "Post hoc ergo propter hoc" The car at the front of the Jam has slowed down or stopped for another reason, e.g: Poor city planning, Horrible accident, Breakdown, Roadworks or something entirely different. The traffic jams are caused by a bottleneck it has nothing to do with an avalanche effect!
