Bruno "I love you baby" Chilling! Anderson " I bet you do, bet you do, bet you do' So smooth! Silk Sonic use of instruments, horns, drums and bass enhanced this already awesome song. Want to hear more cover songs and a new album. Thank you for your reaction.
I am blown away!!!! Bruno & Anderson do not miss!!! They are completely 🔥 love it .... bring tne old school back, u guys are doing it to the upmost highest level....😀
@@judithsturgis9822 Wow! Cool! My man Felton Pilate. Funny; when I was a teenager when that song was out; I didn’t know that was Con-Funk-Shun until I saw them on SOUL TRAIN wearing ALL white performing it. I was like “WTF?” And to hear Silk Sonic do it and NAILED IT; brought back memories of great music!😌❤️🎶👍🏾
You know, since Silk Sonic recently has been doing covers of some older songs; such as Con Funk Shun's "Love's train", wouldn't it be interesting if they did a cover of their other song Fun Fun Fun? There are other groups too like Brick which has a single called "Ain't Gonna Hurt Nobody" and "Dazz"! ! ! There are so many of these bands out there that I'm confident that Silk Sonic can cover or remix Tastefully. These boys are talented anyway and I know that Bruno can handle it as well as Anderson on the drums. That live music just guarantees it!
They said they play it whenever they are in the studio. Listen to the original, if you haven't. Silk Sonic's hallmark is musicianship and excellence of craft. Don't skip over the harmonies nor Anderson's open.
One of the horn riffs sounds like a Switch sample--Very cool. The guys said this was a song they both love and would end up picking up their instruments and start jamming this song during their recording sessions. This is a 40 year old song. One of the finest covers I’ve ever heard.
2024 still listening. Bruno is a musical genius!

I read that they often played it in the studio just to play such a good song. It was meant to happen this way. Hats off to them!
Love them for this!!
This is a cover. Original by Con Funk Shun. They said they always groove to it in the studio so decided to record it.
I love that they did that. And I see why. I went and listened to the original, and it’s phenomenal.
This song was something they would song just playing around. Silk Sonic decided to record it for Valentine Day. I hope they keep on recording.
I DESPERATELY hope they keep recording.
They stuck to the original that makes it absolutely perfect. ConFunkShun jam cover done right.

CONFUNKSHUN classic song
Great cover of the 1982 Con Funk Shun's version
This is a cover. ‘ Con Funk Shun.’
I didn't think RUclips allowed sex on their website, but here this video is proving that thought wrong.

Great reaction broh
Now you have to go listen to the original
Just did it, and the original is S-M-O-O-T-H smooth.
That "Doobies Bounce" horn line is actually nearly identical to the horn line in "Love's Holiday" by Earth, Wind & Fire from '77.
Bah gawd, you're right. I love it!
