Wow for those of us who know the original song, this some sweet candy indeed. Silk Sonic is real music for everyone. This is music and entertainment at its best. I totally agree, Nick! I love that Bruno is keeping great music alive- especially Soul , R&B and Funk.
A lot of folks are keeping this genre alive, but probably not as well known as Bruno. Bruno is just one who is so consistent. His love for the genre is so evident, though.
It's not just Bruno, it's others out there that don't get the credit that Bruno gets. Hell, the guy that's next to him, that being Andy has been doing this throughout his career.

I’ll admit it. The greatest collab in history!! Every time I hear a Silk Sonic song or see a performance, I just get the biggest dumbest smile on my face haha
All of their performances are just so freaking good!! And i think what I love most about them beyond the musicianship/performance value, is how OBVIOUS it is that they're having the most fun they've ever had! I mean Anderson wouldn't be up there looking a fool in that wig every night if he wasn't just vibing and having the time of his life! The way they smile throughout the whole thing and give off the energy that they truly love what they do is just so infectious! Cuz some performers u can tell that they're not having a good time or it can look like they're maybe not having a good time even if they are cuz they're so nervous or concentrated on what they're doing. but not bruno and andy! They are so professional but they also manage to exude love and fun. so good.
Agreed, Bruno is the real deal. Never misses. Silk Sonic 70's/80's groove brought back a great popular era of music. Btw did you know Beggin reintroduced by Maneskin is a cover of 1967 original by Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons. Covered by Madcon; a jazz band Monophonic and a few others. 50yrs later and these songs still the best of the best.

Andy is so versatile. He can do it all: funk, R & B, neo-soul, jazz, and rap. And as a performer, he is unmatched. Put him with Bruno: GOLD.
Absolutely, Anderson does not get the flowers he deserves. He definitely should be put with Bruno, it's not just about the high notes, it's overall talent. Anderson has that smooth, raspy soulful voice that embodies the old school RnB.

I love it Bruno and Anderson was just in time love love, We were already closed in but they open the doors, did a reverse.
They are incredible and I completely agree with you - they are going to go down as one of the best collaborations of all time. They were made to perform together.
Bruno is Bruno, we all know that but Anderson has blown me away. I knew this man was talented and versatile AF but this pairing has allowed him the freedom to really show off and show out. Throw him into the 70's, 80's or the 90's and that man would shine on any stage.
Best damn band. Everyone is saying it but I’ll be repetitive lol Jimmy King is on the right and Kameron Whalum is on the left. Kam is immediate background vocals for Bruno during live performances and Jimmy is usually right there as well. All the Hooligans are the same, but Maurice on trumpet is just for Silk Sonic (he works with Andy and the Free Nats sometimes). One of my fav things about the Hooligans/Silk Sonic is always the choreo and how even on the instruments they move too, wonderful!
Two Hooligans left the group: Phillip Lawrence and Phredley Brown. Maurice Brown is the Grammy winning trumpet player from Andy’s camp. He is phenomenal in his own right (a relative of Wynton Marsalis). He plays during the intermission at the live concert and he can BLOW. Bruno is tough to ignore on vocals, but the entire band is incredible.
That fucking high note is the most sublime thing I've ever heard in a while. GOD I just recoil from the fucking raw energy of that it's just beautiful.

Loved it! Nothing they do I don’t like. The make the experience totally enjoyable from the real music to the dancing! The lighting adds dimensions to it as well.
I love them, The Jackson's for 2022. Love Andy's hair, voice, choreography, Bruno's voice, I can watch them all night ...

With the exception of Mateus and Maurice, and of course Anderson, all of those guys have been with Bruno for over 10 years as part of the Hooligans

When George Michael died, so many fans of popular music thought it was all over. I put forward the thought that we still had Bruno Mars. I LOVE Silk Sonic. The music is deadly, seriously good. The lyrics that they write are hilarious. I can't believe it. I'm in disbelief.

The trumpet player is Maurice Brown, he is from Andy’s band, The Free Nationals.
Maurice Brown took Jimmy King’s place playing trumpet since Jimmy is now one of the backup singers

False!!! The original is definitely better and more soulful. Silk Sonic was respectful to the og version, but in no way is it better. I love Bruno, who is currently my favorite artist, but I grew up on Con Funk Shun and didn't think this song needed to be covered because there is no improvement over Michael Cooper's vocals and that's #facts!
No, it isn’t. Michael Cooper’s vocals can’t be matched and that just the truth. Love this version though. They did the original justice.
