  • OBD2 code P0102 on your Ram Diesel couple quicks checks and what was found on this one. the Tipm or the electronic fuse box lets face a unsealed disaster waiting to happen on ram trucks. when checking this code found therw was no 12Volts at the MAF sensor for sensor supply this led to the checking the fuse checking the fuse it was good but by happen chance i checked for the power at the fuse and well there was none after a quick jump of power to the circuit resolved the issue i checked the relay that supplies that fuse and it just went downhill from there.

Pretty much but i had to know if there was something i could repair in there if it was just a couple joints i would have soldered it but honestly my time to fix this would have out weighed any benefit and likely would have been back in there again before long I know it.. So it got shit canned and new one is coming.

@@zachattack1433 Thanks for the comment, however this is not my first encounter in this environment with this issue and if you watch the whole video you will see this was not a matter of just cleaning it.... my time repairing this was likely worth more doing something else so i decided once i saw what was going on inside it i stopped working on it. so replacement in my case makes much more sense as for others i cant say cause it's what you can make for yourself versus cost most of the time this becomes a major factor in my decisions if I have work I usually make more than i spend but if i got a slack time i can do just about anything including fixing this crazy ass design that should not even exist.
