Designers really need to pair up with engineers to make those glass to sit a bit lower on face. This way it always looks weird way up on our eyebrows. Sure this is not a prior since this is not for public use, but it should be a way to make it look less awkward. All small glasses are positioned way too high and I understand why (mirror x screen position, etc...) but hope they make it look better with time.
This is pretty cool, especially since you can not only use various video-streaming apps but the fact Steam-Link works is very thoughtful of them. I don't personally plan on getting once since I don't watch much tv/shows but this is a great gift for several ppl I know.
It'd be cool to see a comparison between Rokid, XReal and Viture from you guys. I'm considering getting one of these glasses but I really don't know which one makes sense for different use cases.

Granted, I moved during that time, and I haven’t used them since the move. I’ve been waiting for more info on this device ever since I saw a prototype of it on another RUclips channel. Now I just gotta figure whether or not it will be worth it for me as an iPhone user!
The screen locked to your gaze is the deal Killer for me. I've experienced this as the original psvr offered this as one such mode and it is infuriating and very uncomfortable. A shame, because otherwise sounds like another step closer to the perfects minimalist virtual big screen experience.
I can’t wait til you are able to talk about Lynx R1 again! Its the only new HMD I’ll be getting in the near future (ordered it ages ago) or doing this kind of stuff with😂
I'm on the fence about the station and the station 2 but saying it's an on-the-go set up when I still need my cell phone's hotspot is uhhh one day it will be cellular and maybe take a plan like a smartwatch
Mine finally arrived and here is my review. It runs hot. I have no idea why they also sent a remote just to be able to speak to Google assistant? The video is slightly larger than the glasses allows you to see so the far left edges in the upper and lower corners are not in your direct view and are somewhat blurry. It took 1 month to arrive from China! With all of this I still LOVE it because there is no other device out there that allows you to stream video from an android OS using all of the video apps you have on your phone. Plus it has 32 gigs o space so if you want to rent or buy a digital movie you can download it directly to the device. Now, I dont know how you get the video off or how you put videos you already on....for $149 im happy. However if you can find a cheaper phone that outputs video via a usb c port then you could do that instead but I could not find any for $149 or less

Well done video. Better explained than others that I have seen. I have had the Rokid Max glasses for several months now and really like them. It took a while to get used to the screen moving with my head and the pulsing from my heartbeat. The pulsing goes away after a few minutes of wearing for me. I use mine connected to a PC laptop and also to gaming consoles like an Xbox 360 that I resurrected for this purpose. I was waiting for this Station device but that it does not have the stabilization or 3DOF are deal killers. I do understand though that to incorporate these features would lower the resolution which may be the reason that Rokid does not offer the features in this generation of glasses.

Does the Rokid Station overheat easily? I'm seeing a lot of reports of competing devices overheating and not being able to place the device in a pocket. Wondering if you are having similar issues with the Rokid Station.
Are there lens inserts for people with glasses for the Rokid Max? I think this is the one thing holding me off from any AR glasses as my vision isn't great with astigmatism that seems to be getting worse.

is the control also working in the global version for discord? the chinese version only works for some apps but the cursor is not working in discord,chrome and so on... by the way the chinese version can be switched to english language and has a 3dof mode so you can pin the screen in your room.
I hope all this stuff succeeds and inspures Rokid, Xreal etc to keep making better and better devices as this is the form factor I've dreamed about even before the OG Google Glass. I want them ever-closer to looking like normal glasses, adjustable lenses so I can use them without extra prescription lenses, at least 3 DOF with locking the screen into place in space, and, of course, a bigger FOV. Between them, the Rokid and Xreal are probably 60-70% there for me at the moment. But neither is enough to make me part with my own money - I wonder how many people on the RUclips videos have actually paid for them?

At the price of a consumer VR headset + a couple games I won't buy this, I've watched some media content on my Pico but still prefer the screen on my Macbook Pro (2019), but I think this is an awesome product regardless, once you see people using this on the subway, like everyone's either on their phone or using an e-reader in my experience, it'll bring face screens into mainstream that much quicker.

How about Samsung Dex with the glasses and get a portable PC for everyone
