I was fortunate enough to get the Rokid Max and Station for Xmas. Honestly, I don't think I'll use the station much, if at all, as the glasses work well with my current smart phone. I chose the Rokid over the XREAL AR glasses because of the diopter adjustment. I wear glasses with a mild near-sighted Rx, so I'm able to adjust the Rokids to be pretty clear. Unfortunately, everything is pretty blurry around the edges and when gaming text can be really difficult to read. This is regardless of the diopter adjustment. I've also tried wearing my regular glasses and reading glasses with the Rokid, which works about as well as the diopter adjustment, but still with the blurriness around the edges and difficulty reading text. I've seen a few comments about how this could be due to pupillary distance, so maybe my PD is too wide for these glasses. I dunno. I'm impressed with them, but disappointed with the constant blurriness and inability to read some text while gaming, which is kind of what I wanted them for in the first place.
Preferably this is what Apple should do in general with a control box like this with their own glasses when they come out so it’s not dependent on the phone itself and give it an option data subscription like your Apple Watch would have. I’m an Apple fan so I use android for apps that I can’t get on Apple.
hum can you get it to work as multi monitor for pc and android? like one monitor is android and the other is PC or set it up like if it is multiple pc monitors or one large monitor. thing is that for me the edges are a bit unfocused so if I can turn it in to a multi monitor that I can zoom and move around it would be awesome.
The way this is set up it's separate from the app that Rokid uses. So we don't have the ability of running multiple displays since it only has one video output source and the rokit classes only accept one video input source. I know what you're referring to is available in the smartphone app that they support
@@TKBay Thank you, humm so it is possible to use it as one monitor to a PC and get the experience as in the app so you can scale the source and make it "stick" at a place you like?
This is probably what Apple should do put like a AR based operating system on a little handheld and sell it on its own to work with other manufacturers glasses
This is a great review. Thank you very much!! So does the Rokid Station work with the Rokid Air aswell? Hopefully!! I would buy the station separately.
Hi, thank you so much for the video. There is no official dealer in my country so it is very difficult for me to confirm it, could you please confirm this for me? Can you install PS5/ XBOX remote play app (such as PS Play and XBOX Play on Rokid station? and can you connect the PS5 & XBOX controller to Rokid Station? Thank you so much!
This is so cool, I am jealous lol I regret getting a tablet that was almost the same amount of money of those glasses and with that android tv even more
can i use the rokid max also as normal glasses? because it can adjust the dioptrien to my eyes, so i dont need to change the glasses extra by a eyedoctor? is the view clear in your room and surroundings? or only on the projection picture? so i can use it while watching a livestream and dont want to miss a single squence and take the picture with me to the bathroo or other places and keep watching while working/doing other things. This way it can also be a good solution for familys if everyone wears it, so no one need to watch in a other direction to watch tv and miss the eyecontact with the other ones while eatining dinner stuff or others things and is there discord or a browser app for using discord? so i can lay back in my bed and chat and play discord activities and watch together youtube comfy
I dont get the use of this, when all of this can be done directly from you phone, wouldnt it be better to have your phone on your face instead of a android tv???
I just don’t see how people are buying this. If someone’s buying this they likely have a smart phone and not some flip phone, so what’s the reason for it. He says something about driving getting directions on his phone while his son uses the glasses, but most parents would rather just buy their kid the cheapest iPad on the market and it’s going to probably have far better quality than the glasses, plus you can manage what your child is looking at (how are parents supposed to know if their 5 year old kid is watching idk let’s just say p*rn, the glasses couldn’t be seen by everyone in the car). Not saying that parents shouldn’t trust their kids, I’m just taking this from a consumer standpoint and saying that many consumers just have no reason for this.
the market for this and the reason people are buying it. including myself is the fact that you don't want to tie up your phone for watching movies or gaming. plus, your phone battery will probably drain faster than this device. this device is perfect for almost being handsfree with your AR glasses because this device can fit in your pocket and people will just think that you have on sunglasses. I'm really looking forward to sideloading my iptv app to this and being able to watch live tv on the go. also imagine. Playing Xbox cloud on this with nothing but your controller while this device is tucked away in your pocket. yes, your phone has apps to do some things, but nothing beats having the android tv interface and the google store at your disposable.... this device is genius!!!!
What do you think of the portable Android TV experience? Check out the

Can I connect the rokid station to my nreal air glasses?

Does it work with the xreal air glasses?
Can you "pin" the screen to a specific location like the Xreal Beam can?

you can charge and use rokid at the same time ?
Can you use this with xreal glasses
This is compatible with other glasses. As long as they use USBC as the video import source

Is the Rokid Station compatible with Rokid Air glasses?
I’m getting the new rokid at lite when they come out both me and my wife that’s what I’m saving up for right now
So my TCL nxtwear G would be compatible with this? I tried many things before and these glases aren't compatible with anything

Can you use this device to push Android TV to any HDMI input like (portable monitor, tv's)or it's only going to works with glasses ? Thanks
Small portable monitor, yes. A large TV like at a hotel no it will not work.
Does rokid station support Netflix app?
Bummer, Netflix hasn't authorized the Rokid Station Android TV
I dont get the use of this, when all of this can be done directly from you phone, wouldnt it be better to have your phone on your face instead of a android tv???
Is this a cheap wish item?
No, it's really meant to allow people the access to use ar glasses without needing a compatible phone
